I haven’t read the novel yet, but cn young master is like a trope like yandere, tsundere, etc. It’s basically like super entitled, I am a god, all thing should belong to me type character. It’s kinda annoying since they used to be like the antagonist in cn fiction but for some reason most cn fanfic make these type of character the protag.

The overlord story is quiet well done. It might be the best overlord fanfic I have read so far. Tho I don’t really read that many overlord fanfic and it’s been a while since I last read one. One of the thing which overlord fanfic seem to fall into would be the difficulty in writing a compelling character in a world which have an overpowered character like overlord where the world itself is kinda weak but the newcomer is too op. So they usually would fall into few category I think which are reborn as an NPC who is super strong but need to pretend to be loyal to ainz, become ainz companion who is overpowered but it usually makes their presence very minimal and seemingly irrelevant to the story other than being someone ainz respected or too relevant and ended up overshadowing ainz and makes the story’s stake being nonexistent since they don’t have the same sort of mental dilemma which ainz have. This story doesn’t really fall to either category. The overlord part is quiet solid so far. Though I don’t really understand the need to world travel. It could be nice if the focus goes to the overlord world first and foremost, and makes the other world be a smaller detour, as of writing this I think there might be almost the same number of chapter of them being in overlord world as Danmachi world which I kinda feel is a bit too long, a periodic visit to the world would feel more in tune I feel. I get that the move to other universe is a method to get gear or so on, however it kinda feel like filler.
