Not too surprising imo. Since the start Quinn has always been a great friend, but an incompetent leader. He consistently puts the interests of his friends above those of everyone else including the vampire/human world. If this wasn’t a book but reality this would be the fast track to get your group alienated from everyone else. And if he then still insists to rule over them despite being hated/feared he’ll be no better than a tyrant.
I must say, I’m a bit concerned about the pacing. While the Ordeals are fun and very well written, they do little in terms of real story progression. The mirror universe was described as a massive place, it will need quite a few chapters for decent world building and plot lines in different places. Unless most of the story is going to play out on their planet. However, sofar we haven’t seen much of that either. If I got this right, barely a few months have passed after 400+ chapters and all ordeals are chained after one another. The diplomatic immunity lasts for 5 years though. What’s with interracial and interplanetary conflic? Shouldn’t the ordeals be an addiction to the story instead of the main focus point?
Rather than magi which is plural, it should be Magus’ (without the second s). To indicate a word’s possiveness you add a “ ‘s “ at the end, unless a word originally ends with s. In that case you simply add the apostrophe to indicate posessiveness.
There may be other novels on WN who have equally good storylines as Supreme Magus, however, Legion is the undisputable no. 1 when it comes to funny lines, puns, jokes and references to others works. I laughed my ass off at the Terminator reference xD Seriously dude, how do you come up with all the jokes?
