I'm not debating that HP magic is OP. I just feel that with the limits we have seen so far, it is early to call them gods. They can warp reality, yes. Even so, if you look at most other fantasy media and see what other beings can do, it feels hard to consider them gods. My standard of what constitutes a God compared to a superhuman is just much higher. At the very least, they shouldn't be fallible by mortal means.
I have no idea what a "Morning of Instruction." And something can be useful in both everyday life and in combat. There are numerous cheat-like abilities out there. Choosing purely based on offensive power feels stupid when in a world like HP where there are already spells capable of mass destruction.
Yes, I get he still has HP magic. My point is, that magic with purely destructive purposes isn't that useful beyond fighting. Sure you can find some supplemental uses, but numerous other abilities exist that are more versatile and useful. Compared to most other worlds, HP isn't so dangerous and deadly that one needs to choose absolute attack power as a cheat.
At first, I was going to give this one star as this seemed to be a plagiarism of the fic Partially Kissed Hero. Then I looked at the Author's name and it seemed like it was the original author posting it on Webnovel, though I can't be 100% sure. If that is the case, I hope that the author will finally finish it. It is a crack fic, but it is entertaining and I hope to see a satisfying ending.
This is actually 11 tiers. It would be easier if there was a description saying that as a tier 0, it represents being too weak to even qualify for the first Tier, and it is the first tier that beings truly become beyond the scope of mere mortals.
I thought Harry wasn't joining because of his busy schedule. Did I miss or forget something?
Thanks.
To be fair, even if he doesn't have an X-gene, there are many similarities between someone who has taken a devil fruit and a mutant. There are obvious comparisons between devil fruit abilities and mutant abilities. There is the fact that one's DNA is different from normal humans. There is the fact that one power can evolve, a secondary mutation in mutants and a devil fruit awakening in devil fruit users. If not for the stigma that comes with being called a mutant, there wouldn't be any real problem if the accident did somehow turn him into a mutant with the powers of a Door-Door fruit user.
How long does he have until the chaos starts? (I'm not familiar with The Witcher beyond fanfics and the first Season on Netflix). If he has enough time, could he start doing Mage/Sorcerer Training in the meantime as I'm sure he has the talent plus a system to help him? Also, wouldn't awakening the Elder Blood result in the Wild Hunt sensing and targeting him?
Well, I guess that works. I still feel that he should have made a spell for this as that might be easier and faster.
If being a Metamorphmagus has such a benefit, could Harry work towards improving his partial talent to being complete?
Just take his place during the Triwizard Tournament. After all, it is a great time to show that he is capable, he could get rare ingredients (slaying the dragon for a ritual), and he could take Cedric's place and sabotage Voldemort's resurrection rather than die like a scrub.
Vastly less power powerful. Considering that most of them require a tool and broken latin to use their power, it is hard to say that they just a little less powerful. Get to a point where he can do all spells wandlessly and purely of intent/willpower rather than bastardized latin and then we can begin talking.
If he were to destroy this "shadow" would he retain the powers and skills, or would they all be gone. If it is the first, there is no need for Sabertooth to remain.
So he doesn't need a wand?
Only two real benefits. The first is as previously stated, they will almost certainly underestimate him if he pulls out a sword, meaning that he could go for a suprise attack. The other is that a good enough sword could likely be used to block spellfire. Mostly it is for cool points and it might only end up being worth it because of the Knight Cultivation System that makes him faster than his opponents.
I hope your being sarcastic. There are many reasons to learn how to fight with a weapon. The first is that magic is finite, so he can't rely on it always. There is also the fact that a sword would be underestimated, giving him a slight advantage should he ever fight others. The discipline and coordination that results from dedicated training can't be overlooked, especially if he goes far in Knight Training. Finally, swords are cool and he has a dope sword, so of course he should learn to best utilize it.
For me, the story was a bit annoying at first because it felt perfect except the MC. Magic was reasonably described. The characters were extremely well written, feeling almost three dimensional. The world background seemed rich, moving by itself and with the butterfly effect of the MC. Even so it felt like our main character was a sociopath. Don't get me wrong, I can get behind a character that is selfish, ruthless, or even evil, but it is odd seeing a main character with no connection with the world, actively manipulating everyone around them, and preforming a massacre with no remorse (even if it was in self defense). It was later that we learned that the Horcrux was affecting him and it all made sense. He got rid of it and instantly became better, seeming more genuine. My only real gripe with the story at this point is that the MC is called Lucas instead of Harry. This shows that either the MC, the author, or both still see him as Lucas and not Harry.
I didn't mean it in the sense that they could fight him. Even then, I would argue that magic power should grow with age and they had more than enough time to research magic so they should still be somewhat capable of defending themselves and escaping even if they can't beat a dark lord. What I meant was that the concept of a dark lord shouldn't be so fear-inspiring. Wariness, maybe some contempt, but not straight-up fear of his name, even if the name were jinxed.
