they are more like living in three and fourth dimensional space. since they are just brain, but a very smart one, they literally have no fighting prowess. their means of survival is just that untouchable state.

as for his battle skills, he know he need one but he didn't really need it so soon. it is only because Dungeon Core provide such service of free learning that he is willing to learn one.
