Read books
I am by no means an expert, I just try to point out the ones I catch in case the authors decide to fix them it improves the story for someone else. I mean if you ever try a story that is only machine translated they can be very rough. You basically develop dyslexia trying to read them.
tread or treaded, they are both the same word one is just past tense. What I was correcting was the use of ‘the’ in the second sentence which was supposed to be ‘they’. sorry if I caused any confusion.
Daniel?
I guess this is a regional thing lunch being a noon/mid-day meal for me. Both supper and dinner being later evening meals; breakfast, brunch, lunch, supper, dinner.
I saw but didn’t want to go back and search for this comment at the time. Besides it was a genuine question and to me the author continuously omits information that can be explained in the moment.
What I meant was he is in a cave and he needs Stone and Wood for the hatchet. I can see plenty of stones in the vicinity but how common is wood in caves?
Sheets and pillows(cushions to be exact) from an office building….? Not that they can’t but it seems uncommon. Why not say he had stored them and brought them out. He has spent a couple of weeks traveling and he hasn’t thought of this?
I know you described a more human/fairy but the first that came to mind was Navi from Zelda.
It never made sense from the beginning, the MC: ‘I think this is somehow a game…..’ proceeds to walk away from the building that might have some of the answers…. What?! There were even a couple of potential justifications; gather thoughts away from danger, zombies so less population equals less zombies, increase levels before returning to investigate, but none of these were used. The ‘brilliant idea’, let me figure out how far the effect goes, well now he found out. I don’t understand how this was supposed to make the MC seem smart.
I’m not requesting that you change it just commenting; “Basic Apprentice” sounds like he has at least some knowledge of the skills/techniques required and though that might be true for some (forage/fishing) others seem very unlikely (blacksmith/alchemist). ‘Unskilled’ or ‘Untrained’ apprentice makes a little more sense to me but I understand that it probably goes with some naming convention you’ve established.
Yeah, it makes me question his intelligence. I can only slightly justify it to trying to keep the monocle under wraps but, like you said in a prior comment; there is basic information that he can provide to at least help the man understand some of what he thinks is happening.
Edit: his skill points should be *2* for fighter 1 for magician. He spent 1 point at level 2 on the parry skill but not nothing at level 1 or 3.
A suggestion, I came back after reading further and I guess you wrote 1/1 to mean 1 and 1 of fighter and magician sense that is how the MC is forced to use the points but, it is more easily seen as 1 of 1. I suggest just writing 2 total, it is also how most games depict it and the user reviews to see what is upgradeable.
Still don’t understand why he left them in the first place, he knew he was going to get hungry from the ‘effect’ explanation and he already explained why was not going to eat the ‘HP restoring’ ones unless necessary. He had the space why not take them. Maybe it’s me and my in-game hoarder mentality, most of the time I pick up everything and anything until I have no space then mass item dump when I find something better or a store/vendor. Sidenote; I also occasionally suffer from ‘I might need this later’ and never use an item.
Every time I read monocle I feel he should be looking for a way to secure it onto his face.
First mention of any “banknotes” in the story, unsure if it accidentally slipped by and you want to change it to gold coins.
I appreciate that you are maintaining a consistent upgrade system but truthfully I am not going to review if the math ‘checks out’ for the side characters. I may do it for the MC since his growth is more easily followed and explained. Again thank you for the explanation but to me it’s good enough to know that you followed your own established guidelines. If they jump around I won’t question it unless it’s blatantly obvious.
*charges
No, he is right everything starting from “RAE-713” is the naming scheme related to a magazine attachment used to assist in bullet loading, it’s also not in the picture you attached. The pictured pistol is a “Desert Eagle Mark XIX .50AE” with Integrated Muzzle Brake (IMB) in Polished Chrome.
Hi, can you explain where I lost you? From what I recall Aguinaldo was requesting for Luan to not help the police. This is all under the premise that we disregard any potential police corruption. Aguinaldo requesting him to do that would have changed nothing because common and lawful practices are for law enforcement to conduct investigations on missing individuals and accidents, so an investigation would be done regardless of the company’s help. Luan had no reason to impede the investigation and in fact it would have likely led to bad press towards the company. Not to mention he already knows the facts and had left minimal if any evidence of his involvement in the ‘accident’.
