poor decision making here. 1st he still has his gun in hand and has already shown he can fire at point blank range. assuming he had to block and then countered it would have been a strike to the head, step back, shoot in face. less wasted time /movement / recovery.

in a combat situation or any tense situation really, no one calls names for a general order. it is a waste of time and breath.

alright gonna nit pick a bit. there is 2 on a 1-10 scale of world building here. you can erase most of it and say Ferdinand finds a medical town, walking around said town he is attacked, quick trip up stairs for unknown building. there is no anything like layout, building uses, building material, medical buildings tended to be spread out and rather haphazard in placement. alleys were wider as well almost thier own streets.

a half a country away is 3 miles? so 6 miles is a country? meaning the holy nights are 12 miles away which would be 2 countries? that is a days travel on foot for a human.....
so the guy with the gun is trembling and makes every single shot count. but not just count 2 head shots?
