Maybe instead of "fire" damage, it may have been "area" damage?
A good start, found it interesting. Then the author got hit on the head by a flying pig. We get Beasts attracted to the MC. Then we get MC becoming a body cultivator. Then we get MC. All the while, losing the Attractiveness System. It's like playing a MOBA game then suddenly you're playing a Music game, then it changes to a text-based novel game even before completing a level. The shift in story lore Nd background is very disturbing. Very hard to keep track of what is happening. The author might have been going for Inception style of writing, or something like Dr. Strange. Just doesn't go well in writing.
Story completely changes after chapter 70. One moment the MC is playing a game on Earth, the next moment he is transmigrated into the game with no fore warning. It's like the author got hit by a bus, landed in coma and awoke only to have amnesia and continued writing thinking everyone is brain dead like him.
Author often has amnesia and so does the MC. Chapter 1-80, MC has Rune System. Chapter 80-100, MC has Cheat System. Chapter 101-325, MC has Beast Tamer System. Chapter 326, MC has Beast Tamer System but in another form, and somehow forgot everything he has done, and also became younger. I'm at chapter 350 and I see no hope of continuity. The author often changes the storyline, and in each change, the MC often goes through a period of selective amnesia. Forgetting his strengths and gaining weaknesses. Add to the fact that after glancing through the titles for future chapters till 600, there seems to be no link to the past 300 chapters at the start. To everyone who might read this, you can follow my guide above. Read and stop at those points. Leave the novel and come back when you're forgotten everything. It will feel much better than suddenly reading and feeling so annoyed at the changes in the story. Not recommended for those who enjoy a smooth read, or those who actually expect "Shock! The Runes are in English!" instead of "Shock! The MC has amnesia and so does the System!"
Killed by "thunder", isn't that soundwaves?
Totally from that novel, there was another reference from "Mages are too OP" regarding the "Magic Control" and "Magic Material Exemption" abilities/talents a few chapters back.
Fairly decent novel. Liked the character progression and story development. Kinda sad that it got castrated in the middle. Like the author got tired of writing and just decided to slap the "Completed" tag on. The last chapter literally ends like a cliff, with no conclusion and leaves the rest to the readers imagination.
Magic Control and Magic Material Exemption, it so totally reminds me of "Roland" from "Mages are too OP".
Did you really name the MC "Moonlight Child"? Cause that's what came to mind when seeing the name.
Read up to Chapter 200+ as of now. Kinda liked the title of the novel, but a little hard to understand because the type setting or fonts aren't as defined as other novels with brackets or what nots for skill names and stuff. Also, somewhere along the line. The novel changes from "Runewords are in English", to more of "My Beast Tamer System". It's like the author forgot what he/she was writing about. Maybe there'll be a next volume/arc addressing this thing where the title of the novel is no longer suited to the story. Or how the story is suddenly pulled back to "Runewords are in English". Honestly a good read, still quite miffed about how the story doesn't suit the novel title. Maybe it'll become those "Master of All Paths" kinda thing, because the MC can easily master the powers.
