This is a plagiarized copy of a work from fanfiction,net titled 'I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For'. This author seems to be trying to pass it off as their own. Give credit to the original author if you can't produce anything original.

It's mostly just an AI-written story. I don't think there is an original paragraph in the whole thing. It's not even edited very well so it's just a bunch of long-winded and flowery language that does nothing to progress the story. Not worth the read unless you literally have nothing else to read. Even MTL translations are more readable than this crap

A huge red flag for a novel like this is when they take mind-altering perks or drawbacks. I've rarely seen them used well and it just seems like a really dumb choice even if your character was doing the chyoa for fun.

Not when he copy-pasted the original mythology. He had the opportunity to mix and match from other mythologies and fiction and truly make something impressive. Still, when I read this chapter even with all its silly exposition I found myself severely disappointed. I don't even care if it was just a gimmick or adding some impressive architecture from Lord of the Rings or something but anything would have been better than what he gave us.
