A little theory. The Dream God and his realm became the prison for the void after the gods defeated them. They were too strong and started to corrupt the dream god and made it into a nightmare. the runes that speak of him are not corruption but tainted (thanks to the corruption of the void) causing revulsion to the people that reads them those forgetting its name. I think that is the real reason why desire was not kill by sun god and only shackle maybe like the immortals in the second nightmare the deamons are the locks of the void and they have not break out because weaver is alive and kicking somewhere trying to change fate by using the nightmare spell. He also didnt participate in the war. He is trying to create more gods to stop the void before the realm of the gods get devoured.

I am pretty sure that Cassie is not telling the whole truth. I think a lot of people are overlooking the fact that Sunny became the mad prince and corrupted the whole cohort because he wants to be free. The repercussions were severe. It corrupted his friends and they killed Nephi's and he probably gave the final blow. "becareful what you wish for" was mad prince saying either change the wish or also you mess up. Cassie also understand or saw a future where sunny is propose again to be free and he takes it and unfortunately they might not be on a river that returns time hence killing the people he cares the most or the whole of humanity. They are returning his choice not to be manipulative but to cut the problem at the root.

The thing is... the example was made when he was able to fight the 4 kidnappers and help Alice that was great. Do we really thing a tier 5 or 6 lord of the ones in the council has not done a share of torture. Those at that point should be compose, the author saddly is taking away too much on the power level system. I would actually would have describe how some of them nodded at the way he was acting thumbs up for the screams but he is in a room with only the council people cause he didn't let them tape anything there is no message being send. the people in that room should be expecting what is happening. just down plays the power level and experience of veterans of war.

I think this is a very likely possibility. It is what they would look like if they were corrupted. Their titles seem very close to their flaws/abilities. There are only 6 because nephis soul can not be corrupted so she doesn't exist on that context.

I think the answer is not what he wants to change in the past but he is reverse Engineering. He knows what happens in the future and is using the nightmares to create butterflies effects. A little of My opinion is that he rates the nightmares by how different the outcome is from the original version. In the second nightmare he only got excellent instead of what he did on the first one which was magnificent. If we assume that the fabric of time is stable then deviating just a little bit of the outcome doesn't change the future. The answer is right in front of sunny at this time. which daemon was more invested in ariels tomb. The key of estuary says it... The answer is oblivion. I don't have privilege chapters so is hard to see any relevance. I think that the problem people are having with the chapters is that for all intent and purposes the man is dead. If he was good, bad ruthless, nice care about his people, it doesn't matter at all. He is dead twice that according to the story is the true death for lords. I already knew he was Danny when he came out of the gate desert clothes/ saber and silver sword ki all after he show his powers when he sparred with Michael. I thought that it might have been part of the trial of the pyramid that he was send over as a summon. I am still waiting to see but if he died twice better to leave him dead it will be too much of a hole.

I thought that he could extract the soultraits he fused already with and make them into fragments to fuel the others. The mind soultrait and the other one he got was stated that were not what he expected why keep them when there are a lot better talents. It is good that he is going to concentrated in some but to change them later seems like a waste. plus his personality he should have optimized them already.

that is definitely a possibility since noctis said that she was able to cut 1 or two shackles and that is all that is left. I am not quite sure but when they were at the ivory tower didnt sunny see a couple of untouched shackles. solvane was alive in the future meaning her shackle was not destroyed. Perhaps noctis was also alive in the end. the original plan was for noctis to talk to weaver so maybe he did something

I don't think that there is a Hero Complex on Sunny. If anything he can used it as a cover. Lets not forget that he himself was going to create an alter ego using his mask maybe an assassin. The question is will he become somebody else's tool or be able to remain relatively isolated. With the mask he will be able to keep Cassie from seeing into his fate as well.
