for me what makes him unlikable is the simple fact that the story artificially inflates his and Aizen's relationship. you don't notice it at first, but what comes around comes around. one minute the main character is doing his best to use his advantages the right way, but next he's trying to meal before Aizen. honestly I stopped reading at this part, this kind of twist was just not to my taste.
