I feel like Dorne should have been included here, as this would affect them a bit. Eddard Stark is known to have been outraged with what happened to Ellia and the children. They are also the two higher families that suffered from the beginning and end of Robert’s rebellion.
What is this absurd mesh of things? There is no congruity at all. Nothing from either world is maintained in a coherent manner. The plot is crazy, the characters weird, and the world is what it is. I couldn’t even get far into it. It feels like it tries to take elements of the other stories and makes them worse on purpose.
This conversation was crazy and took a strange absurd route. It’s way too direct. Think about how people would react and this is definitely not it.
This is one of the most non geralt of all geralts I have ever read… I hate this chapter because of how it portrays both the MC and geralt. They feel basic and like idiots. The way the mutations are going for the mc are weird… making him monster? Why? Witchers themselves are mutated because of poisons and mutagens. Why not have him change more like that, but better.
wtf are the soldiers, guards, and lords doing while the bear is distracted by the child and wolf? To much time has passed for them not to be attacking in some way.
wtf is the point of this if he is absolutely useless and everything is pretty much the same… what is the point of making him a Pokémon with no skills? Just make him a Dire Wolf, you would get the same story with zero out of world BS.
He has killed enough already, he would not be feeling like this just because he said please. The forced emotional aspect makes zero sense at this point in the story.
I don’t understand why the MC would be so scared of getting more mutations bring him closer to a Witcher… also why is his personality that of a 4 year old child when he does have emotions. If he is not showing emotions, he feels like a robot. AI involved maybe…
Here is another question, why would he be afraid of the mutations that are making him more of a Witcher?
It is an AI robotic driven mess. The writing is average because AI is definitely involved. There are repeated phrases and the conversations and actions are stiff, soulless, and sound like chat GPT talking to itself. Updates occur often enough. The story is very textbook like. It has dates, says things happen, then moves on. It starts ok but gets worse. The decision making is weird and is forced to make the plot move. The system is horrendous and ignores costs supposedly there. The characters are singular in all ways. They have no significant personalities or roles. Many don’t feel like they are supposed to. There is no world background and settings after the beginning chapters.
