And people think Amon is scarier

"It means the Lord has prearranged everything. We need only pray, act, and do things with devotion. Nothing else matters.

Well. Hela is basically Evernight's junior right? Didn't she also change to the same pathway? So not at all farfetched to think Evernight told her. Aka, told by a God like you mentioned.

He sensed that Madame Hela had something crucial to tell Franca but refrained from doing so.

I already like him better then Klein. His personality is simply vibing with me more then Klein. I still enjoyed Klein as a character a lot, but Lumian is to me, the better of the two.

I know. Which means he can write romance. But considering we've had two novels in a row without it for the MC, and no indication of it happening to the MC in this third one. We can see a clear shift in interests from the author. I have heard that he won't avoid it at all cost. But he seem to have little interest in putting it in there, unless he feels it's a necessary and natural progression for the story. Meaning that at least for now, he has no intention of adding romance to the MC's life.

At this point, he smiled. "Moreover, I want to experience genuine pleasure."

I'm only actively reading one novel on webnoel. LoM2. But I read dozens over on wuxiaworld. Because there I only need to pay a monthly fee and get free access to all their novels, even after they changed their methods to become more and more pay to read. Because I was a monthly subscriber before they changed.

His first day back at the Larkinson Compound reminded him why family mattered. About seventy different relatives gathered around in a dining hall that could more than two hundred people. Many wives, children and elders settled into their seats.

    She was always a blast.

Could it be that she's more afraid of sensing the malice hidden in her family and friends' hearts during the unconstrained Dream Festival? She'd rather gallivant outside and see others' dark sides than experience that herself? Lumian could understand Amandina's rationale.

Melt it all with his flames? Would the flames of a Reaper be strong enough for that?

Otherwise, it would be challenging to catch a Wraith that could constantly jump through mirrored objects, using them as portals to evade capture.

Ofc, this being the world of LoM, it has just as high a chance of being because of natural bias, as it is being caused by something supernatural.

    Indeed, it was a contradiction.

Yeah? I got a few good friends who happen to be Americans. But I still wholeheartedly believe all Americans are dumb as rocks. It might be contradictory, but it's a normal opinion to have. We are ALL biased towards the people we know and like. Camus might be rather indifferent to the suffering of the natives in general, but he cares for this one native that he knows personally.

    Indeed, it was a contradiction.

Yeah, or by the Aztec. Ofc, those people who were happy we arrived, probably weren't so happy for long :P They basically traded one oppressor for another with varying degree of nuance obviously.

Nah. If that was the concern the friend would be handsome. Because it would just showcase how great the MC was by having a handsome close friend, yet still being the one who gets all the girls.

Although the Shi family was the scapegoat for him, among the names that disappeared, there were two who had a good relationship with Jiang Ming. They were honest and kind people.

A monkey also wouldn't know how to use a bow and arrow either though :P The question is, which of the two would be easier to teach a monkey? Isn't one of the major reasons hot weapons reign supreme, the fact they are much easier to learn and master, becoming deadly with them? Unlike cold weapons who takes a lot longer? So can one really call a weapon that is easier to learn, more complex? Though I guess the bow is more intuitive compared to a shotgun? But I'm not exactly dumb as rocks, and cowboy movies were all the rage as kids.

Judging by the shotgun-wielding monster's build, I'd say it's highly skilled in both running and jumping. It also appears to possess a degree of intelligence, capable of wielding a weapon as complex as a shotgun…

Personally I would have cared had it been real life. I mean, we all seem to be perfectly fine that a minor kid travels around killing people. But s*x is where we draw the line? But hey, I'll respect your position. I'll just not agree with it. Also, what do you mean they aren't mature enough by 18? Do they just magically become more mature 2 years later? However, if you are mentioning it due to the brain not being fully mature, that doesn't happen until mid to late 20s. 25 and up.

Actually, I just thought of something. Would it still be considered objective fact, if nobody, not a single person believed in the proof? Basically what if our subjective opinion turns an objective fact into not existing by not believing it? Could it still be an objective fact? Are we entering the realm of philosophy? :P We have proven the existence of gravity. But what if not a single person on Earth believed that proof?

I have already failed moral education… Lumian muttered under his breath.
