Thanos is just one of billion Eternal. Titans/Eternals, just like humans, have/can grow hair.
A/N: This is stated in a future chapter but I also want to put it here. While he is a Gen'Dai his appearence alongside the rest of his species, closely resemble Thanos and the Titan species. He does not have the shrek appearence that the Gen'Dai have on the lore page.

Phoenix, Dragon and Unicorn, the givers of the 3 core materials Olivander preferred. Meaning there must be phoenixes alive to get materials from. Even the one that came to Credence wasn't a chick, it was a grown bird.
