I really like how, compared to other books, the character development is measured, and the hero always finds something to learn. He actually thinks and trains, rather than just overwhelming everyone with his superpowers just because he can. Enkrid is an extremely inspiring character, and his perseverance can serve as an example to look up to even in real life—not giving up and moving toward your goal despite failures. The narrative might seem a bit bland at first, but the last books I read were Lord of the mysteries and the works of Er Gen. Even though there isn’t an extremely detailed description of the mind games between opponents or the grand epic battles of cultivators, this storytelling is enough to make you believe in this world, to make you feel that these characters exist in it and have their own personalities. Because of the overall quality of the story, I’m willing to overlook minor flaws. It’s nice to see the main character’s growth, and I’m curious to find out what happens next.
It's around chapter 150.
