A refreshingly funny story in the style of Dungeons & Dragons: a very backward world, a simple-minded population, a botched ritual, and a main character who treats the world like a playground. Utter nonsense, of course—but something different for a change. 😁 It’s a shame the book was dropped. Eine erfrischend witzige Geschichte im Stil von Dungeons & Dragons: Eine sehr rückständige Welt, eine einfältige Bevölkerung, ein missglücktes Ritual und ein MC, der die Welt wie ein Spielplatz behandelt. Selbstverständlich der absolute Schwachsinn-aber mal was Anderes 😁 Schade dass das Buch fallen gelassen wurde.

Das Buch ist nicht gut. Habe die englische Version vor 4 Jahren gelesen und konnte mich nicht mehr dran erinnern, weshalb ich mit der deutschen Version gestartet habe. Die Übersetzung ist nicht gut, Kates Geschlecht wechselt ständig und es gibt viele geschichtliche Lücken. Dann wundert sich anscheinend niemand darüber dass Audrey Wind, Eis und Co heraufbeschwört, es wird einfach so hingenommen. Dennoch wird sie weiterhin als Abschaum beschimpft. Die Nebencharaktere bleiben blass (bis auf Morris) und das Ende ist viel zu schnell und uninspirierend. Außerdem taucht der Plot aus der Inhaltsangabe im Buch garnicht auf. Daher vermute ich, dass es eine sehr lückenhafte Kopie von einem Originalbuch ist, dass es aber nicht mehr gibt.

The time jumps disrupt the flow of reading. I also do not consider it a good idea to change the writing style in the middle of the story. By now, one has grown accustomed to the extensive level of detail. However, I still find it a pity that some chapters are very short and the overarching storyline progresses so slowly.

The story is good, but uploading a lot of copied old chapters is rubbish. Why does the author do that?

At first, the book was a really enjoyable read. Now, however—at Chapter 269—it is a complete disaster. Half of the chapter consists of a repetition of the previous one, but in a slightly altered form. Furthermore, scenes from earlier chapters pop up right in the middle of the text, forcing you to hunt around just to figure out where the actual story continues. I hope the author improves this. Aside from that, I do like the story—even if I can't quite grasp why Victor is attending the academy in the first place. He could have simply stayed home and gamed in total relaxation. I also find the sheer predictability of it all a bit disappointing: a villain who was expelled from the academy, and another player who has completed a World Story Quest. It seems there is someone else out there just like Victor?[img=thinking] And i don't like Xin Chen, she ist annoying.

Boring! He possesses infinite charm—so much so that everyone wants to marry Xin—yet the developers want to get rid of him. I stopped after 40 chapters.

Oder vielleicht, weil sie super nervig ist. Schade, dass pk noch nicht freigeschaltet ist.

Normally, I really enjoy stories involving necromancers and the undead. That is why I started reading this book. However, I stopped after just a few chapters. I simply don't like the story—neither its structure nor the writing style.

Oh dear, what a clichéd plot twist. As if anyone actually believes in "love at first sight." But probably the emotional, stupid mother does.
