The internal consistency of this work has dropped rapidly in the last handful of chapters. Enkidu went from a fresh astartes to a veteran of the long war.

This scratched an itch for me that nothing has in a while. There is a careful balance between MC agency and system demands that is maintained well. It's played straight, which is the only right way to do it. At no point does it feel like someone is laughing at the MC while pulling his strings, but the strings are pulled and it's obvious they are pulling a lot of weight for the MC as well t as Hyde's tactical thinking is very poor. TLDR: This is just right for me.

The story has had multiple temporal resets and characters get vanished noticably any time something threatens to derail the plot. Obviously anyone investigating what is going on gets memetically erased and patched out.

Jackie and Hyde Save Houses sounds like a perfect variation of the ever popular White People Renovating Houses genre. She'd honestly be exactly what his housing show project is missing.
