Finally they agreed to their request half heartedly. 

They wanted to meet sagar once before they decide as they have not met him. 

They told that he is in bangalore and he will be coming on tuesday directly to the engagement ceremony. 

Kumar wasn't satisfied he wanted to meet sagar in petson and check whether he is suitable to his daughter. He cannot let his precious daughter to marry to someone without knowing him better. He also wanted to talk to pandith to cross check regarding dates of engagement and marraige. 

Finally kumar and karan both planned to visit sagar in bangalore. Suresh informed to sagar about their arrival and they had planned to meet at restaurant near his office. 

In bangalore, Kishore got shock of his life. He never thought his best friend was already for marraige. Sagar called kishore in the morning and had told him to meet at their hangout place early. When swati called him in the evening to inform the news, He couldn't hold back anymore. He barged to sagar office uninformed. Sagar was quite surprised with his visit but he neverthless he was glad now he could tell his interest in marraige to him. 

"So, are you sure about your decision?"kishore couldn't stop himself by questioning. Sagar groaned in frustration. 

why everyone is asking the same question repeatedly? 

"Kishore, i know what i am getting into. It's just a marraige why are you guys making big deal out of it."sagar made annoying face. 

"Just answer to this question. Will you be able to keep her happy if not satisfied?" kishore countered him. 

"Of course, I will give her all the luxury in the world. Why wouldn't she be happy?"Sagar told in 'duh' tone. 

"It's not about luxury and money, as far as i heard from aunty she is lovely person who is blessed with love and care. Could you atleast give her your time " Kishore hissed at him not at all satisfied with his way of thinking. 

Not all the girls are after money. It's not his fault as he is always surrounded by opportunist. He cannot help but think people are same as everyone. 

"You know how busy i am and still you are asking me which is not in my 

 hands" sagar could not understand his friend, what he is implying. For once he thought he is doing crime by agreeing to marry. 

"Sagar just tell me one thing, Why her?" 

Kishore wanted to know why he is so desperated to marry , especially her. When girls were throwing themself on him he wasn't interested. They were rich, upto his status, his taste, why anvitha. He want to know the reason behind his sudden interest in marraige. 

"Spill. I know you better than anyone."Kishore threw him warning glare at his side. 

With defeated sigh. 

"She didn't acknowledge me"sagar said as his eyebrows frowned and his ego seeping inside him. 

"What??!!!"kishore was flabbergasted. He couldn't believe his friend. For once he thought he really attracted to her innocence which is rare like a diamond. 

"you , what? Unbelievable. Have you gone nuts. I am going to stop this marraige. You cannot marry someone just because your of your ego man. Grow up you moron."kishore threw his hand in air in annoyance. 

" YOU.ARE. DOING.NO.SUCH.THING."Sagar pressed each word. 

He cannot understand what is kishore problem. Not every marraige sail with love. He had come to this conclusion that one has to marry to shut the society. He was ranging like bull when kishore told that he is stopping the marraige. He coludn't understand why he is getting angry but still he coludn't let go...let go anvitha. He was completely gobsmacked by her beauty but he is not going to confess it. At first sight he wanted her and he be make sure she is his. 

"Hell yes, i am stopping this marriage. Stop me if you can."He pushed his chair and got up to leave. Kishore thought he couldn't let poor soul entangled in this meaningless marraige and he couldn't let his friend do mistake. 

Sagar visibly panicked. He marched towards him and blocked him from going. Sagar knew he had no other option other than telling him what he felt for her. 

He took a deep breath"i am attracted to her. I really like her simplicity. She is simple beauty indeed"sagar had dreamy smile. His smile turned to frown when he remembered her ignorance. 

"You know kishore, i have never had interest in girls. They fall for me but i never gave any heed to them. When my eyes captured a beauty i couldn't take off and expected her to look at me at least once but she ignored me."he took deep breath to control his inner turmoil. 

"I wanted her to acknowledge me that's is all but when she didn't after trying multiple times i felt bubbling up anger with in me. I felt unwanted, unattended, not important person to her, i never felt like that in my life. When mom talked about marraige, i thought she would look at me knowing i might be her future husband she never did that. That killed me. Someone beside her other than me didn't sit well with me. Her ignorance added fuel to my burning ego. So i did what i felt right. I thought i could show her who I'm, how powerful, successful, efficient, rich and capable i am by marring her. So i agreed to marry her."sagar expressed his feelings as he never hide anything from kishore. Kishore was quite taken back by his talk. He never thought that a simple girl would swipe his friend off his feet. Nevertheless he is happy. He could see how desperated sagar is for her. He wanted to prove himself to her that he is best, Impress her. Why would someone want to do that if another person doesn't hold any place in his life?. He is happy that he found a pure soul instead of fake bimbo in his interest. He knows they would fall in love after marraige once they get to know each other as both are gems apart that egostic bastard doesn't come out of sagar. 

Little did he know that egoistic bastard is the sole reason for their misunderstanding. 

After a heartfelt talk, sagar felt quite relieved. He started to see anvitha in different way apart from impressing her. He had noticed how selfless and soft spoken she is. He had seen how contagious her smile is, how understanding and supporting she is. He was mesmerised by everything in her but he realised it now. He had faint smile playing on his lips while thinking about her. Kishore noticed his friend smiling to himself and relieved. Soon the time to meet the most 'powerful-protective' person has come so both left to restaurant. 

Sagar and kishore reached the restaurant before kumar and karan could reach. Sagar was quite nervous about their meet. A voice interrupted him. 

"Sorry, did we make you guys wait for too long?"Kumar asked hurriedly moving towards them. 

"No sir, we just arrived. Please be seated."sagar stood up from his chair to greet kumar and karan. 

"I'm kumar i am working in mnc company and he is my karan is doing MD and practising doctor. I hope you know why we are here" Kumar introduced himself. 

"Yeah sir, as you know I'm sagar. I am the CEO of 'SS TEXTILES' and he is my friend cum partner 'KISH COLLECTION' owner Kishore." Sagar was cut in the middle by sharp tone. 

"Why do you want to marry my sister? You are rich, handsome successful. Why my anvi?"karan asked possessively. His heart couldn't settle when he learnt about sagar. 

Sagar was tongue tied. He couldn't answer to his question. 

"Karan, let me talk." warned him politely. 

"Sagar, we don't know the reason behind your interest in my daughter. We are not rich that doesn't mean we will marry her off to anyone to their demand. We love her than anything in the world and which she deserve. If by chance you take this marriage as a pass time i prefer you to stop it here only because i am not letting anyone to play with my daughter life. She is very precious to us." kumar said to sagar. 

Sagar however could not conclude what his feelings for anvitha but he wants to marry her and he is going to do it. 

"Sir, Why did you marry your wife? I mean why she?" sagar countered kumar. 

"Because i felt for her. The urge to marry her."kumar was confused by his question but nevertheless answered. 

"Same uncle, I feel she is the ONE FOR ME. I WANT TO MARRY HER....ONLY HER." sagar stated with so much confidence for once kumar thought he is giving her daughter to good hands as suresh and swati were kind and golden hearted people. 

"OK, engagement in two days. So when are you coming to mysore,my son"kumar answered his acceptance by accepting him as son. 

Sagar was relieved hearing him calling son. He understood that he accepted him as SIL. 

"Please, Always keep her smiling. That's all I ask for."Kumar had tears in his eyes while telling him. He was too emotional that he couldn't stop himself from controlling it. He want nothing but her happiness, he wouldn't ask much. 

"Always uncle even if i am not alive, i will make sure of it"Sagar promised wholeheartedly in spur of moment. 

"I have approved but i still have to ask anvi. Let me call her."kumar fished out his mobile from pocket to call anvitha. She picked up in 3rd ring. 

"Papa, Where are you? Where is karan?It's already 9 in the night i am worried." worried anvitha asked kumar unknown to the surrounding. Sagar could hear worry in her voice. 

will she be worried even if i come late? 

Sagar for once wanted her to worry for him like she is worried now. Think of him crazy he doesn't care. 

"Anvi, i am and karan are in bangalore. We will be late. Don't worry i am not alone karan is with and someone very important is also with me."kumar said eyeing sagar. Sagar ears peeked to hear her reply. 

"Papa, did you both had dinner? took you tablet? Why you didn't inform me? Amma also didn't tell me about your whereabouts. By the way appa amma ia acting all weird. Is she pregnant, i mean ... i heard that the pregnant lady act weird and all."anvitha was concerned about his health and asked last part in whisper. kumar laughed at her innocence as she doesn't know what is happening around her. It's about her marraige she has no idea avobt it. Kumar had a rough picture of her wife going all crazy for wedding preparation as there is no time ordering their sisters to help her. 

Sagar who was curious of their conversation heard their talk and he was quite amused by her and her concern did something to his heart. He had to press his lip and turn other way to hide his laughter. Karan know how typical her sister is rolled his eyes and shared a awkward smile with kishore who was shocked at her. 

"I will have food and have tablet. By the way you maa and me have something to tell to and we want your answer. We have a proposal for you and we like the guy and his family. We want your answer; anvi. The decision is yours. If you don't want to get married you can tell me. I have sent you the photo. Have a look and tell me your answer."kumar said to anvitha. Here sagar heart was thumping against his rib cage. He was scared of her rejection. 

"Papa, your wish. I don't have to see the photo. Do as you please"anvitha told in above whisper tone. 

Kumar was delighted. He knew she would never go against him. Sagar was annoyed for not checking his photo. He fisted his hand to control his anger at her. 

So the marraige has been fixed in 10 days.

Anvitha, sweet chirpy, bubbly girl with naughtiness always surrounding her. Her smile is enough to light up the whole universe.She is lovable and down to earth.Her goodness was curse in her life. It attract and pull everyone to her and it happen the same with Sagar, who is cold as frozen water and egoistic, self-centered, love his money more than anything in the world but below his parents. Sagar is an apple of eye, he is charming. Girls swoon over him and aunties adore him and uncles praise him. He is an eye candy but failed to catch particular eye and that is Anvitha. Her lack of acknowledgement stirred something in Sagar. He drag her in to his sophisticated world by marrying her. He expected things, untold. She is naive when it comes to Marital Relationship. He let her to adapt to his 'ELITE SOCIETY' alone.Their difference in social status and class did not help in bonding their relationship . Due to their lack of trust and companionship it was easy for people to criticize her but she handled politely. They took  Her politeness    granted, they bullied her, used her like savage and killed her. Sagar thought he could save her from his money but he was proved wrong. Not money always require in life. When everyone thought Anvitha's chapter is over she made her entry. This time with not as a naive Anvitha but a Powerful Anvitha with the same enchanting smile . She is not what everyone thought her to be. She has her own identity in the world two to be precise. Once Anvitha realised her death has nothing to do with Sagar they together start to build up relationship with TRUST, LOVE and RESPECT.

Lets first go through background of the story
About 5000 years ago a greaat war broke betweeen demons and humans and at that time a hero with inanse porwer rised and slaughtered demons and was responsible for inhailation of demon race , including the great demon king. Later on people of that time found that there hero who had great power enough to disturb the belance of this universe.
A time came when even his own father and mother started fearing him. Now one would marry him becouse of his reputation. And all his friend broke up with him. There were some traitors in humens which clouded with the demons( prime minister of the state of humans, and some other powerfull companions of him), and were still not caught. These traitors in given circumstances found themselves a great way to take this great hero down once and for all. They knew that they cannot defeat him in an open fight so cameup with an idea.
The idea was to take all the power out of his body which could be done with the wapon of demon king Sourukyapuchā( soul capturer) a dagger.
And in order to get the mission done it must be pierced through his body .
But ther was no one who would be ready to take risk. So those traitors first thought of his parents and friends as they also feared him and wanted to get rid of him. But could not agree with each other beacause there was a chance that they might hasitate and there mission would fail badely.
So they found and other way.
The prime minister had 3 daughters 
One of them was born from a concubine, so she was not given such importance and respect . The mother of that daughter was always torched and disrespected by others. Prime minister proposed a marraige of this daughter and the hero. Proposal was accepted so they came up with a date for marraige. 
Prime manister forced her daughter to this marraige and gave her daughter thata dagger(Sourukyapuchā) to kill the hero at first night of marraige. Nad promised her daughter to never torture her mother. Thus she accepted it. Every thing was going as prim manister planed  but at the first night things got bjt of a turn.

The book is telling about a average kid named alvin who after growing turns out to be a great threat to entire universe because of his mysterious powers and because of facing tragedies through out his life.

5. Their shall be no expectation of any sorts from the any one party, towards other party.

6. The party can have extra marital of any number, as per their choice. 

7. The party shall not be liable for any health issue or sexually trasmitted disease. If the any of the parties suffers from any disease, (even a minor one) the other party is not liable to take care of the person. 
8. Both the parties shall uphold each other's respect and dignity in public. They shall behave like a happily married couple in front of their familes and friends, except party A's (Tom Harley) girlfriend. 

9. There shall not be any sort of sexual relationship among both the parties. There will also not be any forcing or coercion.

10. The parties can dress, behave and behave in anyway, they want, as long as it is within the limits of the contract.

11. This contract is confidential only between party A and Party B. Their shall not be any revelation about the contract, to any other person. 



12. The parties shall not be binding to carry this marraige, for very long. They can move out of the contract, any day after completion of two months. 

13. The parties are bound to not interfere in each other's personal life. They shall maintain each other's privacy. 

14. Party B, (Elly Jordan) is allowed to visit her home, whenever she wants, and go out as per her wishes. 

15. Both the parties are allowed to stay nights out, without informing each other. They are not answerable or liable for each other's location or well being. 

16. Both the parties will abstain from seducing the other party, which might provoke sexual cravings in the body of other party. 

17. The parties have right to ignore the other party, as if the other party does not even exist. They are not bound to talk or reply to each other.

Dejected and heartbroken from her wedding, Elly runs away from her husband's house in the middle of the night. She comes across an old monastery, where she hides for shelter! 

Suddenly, she realises that the monastery was indeed, the home of an old chinese magician.

I don't think life changes much after marriage , especially if you already had a miserable one. The notion or belief one holds while growing in a miserable family is to make everything good after their own marraige. But growing up into such families for a long time turns you permanently into one. You keep on hoping that one day it'll be fine , one day it'll all be okay , one day you will be happy. But it shows no signs. The misery just succumbs you and eats you up from inside. You don't understand anymore on how will you atleast be smiling through the day if not happy. You give up on ways to find happiness if not create them. Marraige just becomes an escape , a distraction. To run from one miserable place to another hoping it to be better or less than before. But when your heart and mind are necrosed , you shrink into the oblivion and all that's left is darkness.

Nevi suddenly felt like a quiver made all the hair in his body stood when Ain snapped.  Ain mercilessly punished the foot and hand as he interrogated it.  Nevi had his cheeks left with a hand print from the slap.   Lehi's hair were unkempt. And Urchin watched as he rubbed his butt.  They watched Ain get in rampage. 
"Start talking before I break this fingers!"
Ain scolded 
The hand scribbled something on the soil. 
"I don't have a mouth!"
Ain roared at the hand as the 15 year old boy stamp his feet. 
"Then write it down!"

The hand dramatically withdrew and extended it's hand toward Urchin. Urchin accepted the hand but the foot landed on his little palm. 
"Quit joking!" Ain yelled. 

They suddenly entered a trance.  Lehi and Nevi walked with their messy posture as Ain join them.  They found Urchin seated on a fountain looking straight forward. When they glanced at what his watching they found a woman in her beautiful gown.  A man stood in front of her.  The scene suddenly changed when titans annihilated their place. The titan eat the people who first lived in the village.  The woman got fancied by the titan to be his bride but the cord of marraige walled the woman alone for her husband. The titan got angry and killed all the men as he tortured the woman's husband till he died but the cord of marraige were unbroken. The titan hated and cursed the God loved by this people. The sky roared and consumed the giant. 
The thunder recited a judgement unto the titan. 
"No one will ever see you even if they chase you.  This is the payment for all the people you have eaten."
Before the Titan disappeared, He crushed the woman's body till her foot and hand was the only member left. 

After seeing the woman's past Ain bowed and asked for forgiveness. The woman smiled at them and invited them to enter an ear like door.  Lehi, Nevi, Ain and Urchin hesitated but the woman's smile was encouraging for them to move ahead. 

Ophir covered his ear from the loud crumbling echoing all over them.  Ophir got tired of the noise and extend his hand in prayer.  

" Our Father who resides in our heart. Our only God that behold faithfulness, compassion and righteousness. May Your truth led the graving soul eaten by this being. The flesh and bones are carefully knitted by You.  Bring justice and honor not for the dead bodies but for the glorious legacy that You started with this people. Perish the nightmare that haunts them until their death. May Your love bring peace upon this trampled souls. Amen."

Ophir unleashed all the blood within the body and Kiel purified it with his cane. 

"Sovereign God that is our Savior and Refuge.  Your the proof that Heaven and Hell existed.  We don't have the right to judge anyone. We entrust this lone and gloomy being unto Your merciful hand. With Your glorious name and authority  we purify and cleanse this space that engulfed even those who are burried and are rested. Amen."

The giant roared in gratitude when it's pain ended.  Ophir, Kiel and Hexel landed on their camp.  The team celebrated forgetting the people trapped within Kiel and Ain's gift. When they recalled about the trapped people Ain and Kiel instantly released them.  

Lehi and Ophir performed the Auto-harmony. Lehi bestowed REVERB and all the scenes got sucked in.  Ophir put upon the title " Stringed Cord." and sealed it with the Tale Bearer.  Nevi put upon the date and cover book.  The cover was of a cord in vertical and a string knot as a ribbon.  It's the first book they will remit unto Kenan. 

Kenan was glad and congratulated them. Kenan can't describe the emotion his heart is forming right now since it's the first time he recieved a sacred book for the underground. He used to be the one surrendering and collecting this kind of testimonies but now he is in position to submit it as a Care Taker. It felt wierd that Novena is no longer around to do this kind of stuff.  After submitting he rewareded his harpsichord with a meal he especially cooked.  Kenan understood how hard it was to get this stories complete.  It's a life and death situation most of the time.  

The Tale Bearers are happy to hear that the grave reconstructed by Nevi became a historical land.  The story got told and passed down all over the Kingdom. The quote made the marraige line sparkling. 
"Even giants cannot break the marraige stringed and corded by God."

Cyrus felt a glint of longing with those lines.  Every evening he would lay down at the garden where Gardenia's grave was laid.  Cyrus sometimes wonder if Gardenia even tried to choose a way to thrive and live watching their grandchild grow up.  Cyrus wished that he can dig her grave like a blanket and put it over them.  He lifted his finger and made a pinky swear up on the starry night. 
"I vowed to be with you till the end. You shouldn't leave me halfway, cunning wife."

Kiel watched from the sideline as he symphatise with his father every single night. His father stand by at her mother's grave.  He wonders if those snacks she used to hid for him were personally made by her hands.  Kiel started to miss those stolen sweets. Kiel retired for the day as he join Urchin for a warm bath. 

Hexel got home to find their house in ashes. He inquired about what happened and searched for his parents.
"The duke is unconscious he got hit by a bullet in his office. The duchess is currently treating him." Seena reported. 
The Tale Bearers heared about what happened and visited Hexel's household. The beautiful pearl castle got tinted with dull scorched appearance. Most of their maids and butlers were injured and wounded.  Hexel walked around their burnt building and tried to locate the cause of the fire but he cannot identify anything since all their things were now in ashes.

When prayer takes you to places you never thought exist and leads you to people you never imagine to encounter. Prayer takes you to a supernatural adventure.

Catie always loved to read and spending quality time with books is quite better that spending a lot of time communicating with people. She started to understand bit by bit about this new world. Although she did understand a few things about this kingdom, she still doesn't know how things work. Genevive was really focused on reading and her mind kept spinning and spinning that the only thing that can make her focus was a good treat. 

Despite being thin, Catie really loved eating. So much that the maids in her old residence called her a glutton. Oh how she missed her world. But today she needs to forget about it for a little while. She was focused on reading the history of the Kingdom as she drank her apple juice. Then there was a knock on the door and she expected that the carrot cake she requested was here.

"Come in" Genevive said. The door opened with a 'clank and somone came close to her and brought her a carrot cake and blueberry cheesecake. She turned to look and wanted to say thank you but upon seing the person it felt like the words got stuck in her throat. 

"What are you reading?" Prince Gabriel had arrived.
"Yo-Your Majesty. Oh, Uh I.. Uhm.. Welcome your Majesty. I'm sorry I didn't know you arrived. Ple- Please have a seat." She hurriedly curtsied towards the prince and he nodded and sat down. 

'It's a great day to start doing good things first.' Genevive thought.

"It's partly my fault. I apologize for not informing you." The prince said. 
That, she couldn't find any answer. So she decided to smile. Spending time with this boy is really awkward. 

"Do you want Apple juice your majesty?" She asked out of courteousness.
"No thank you." The prince answered shortly.
Hearing that answer, Genevive then diverted her gaze towards the book on her table and started to eat the cake. But after seing the cake, she remembered the prince had brought the cake to her.
" Ah by the way, Thank you for bringing this your highness." 
He just turned his head. A rude thing to do. Can he just answer her kindly or just acknowledge her thanks? But he is a prince so he had the right. She diverted her gaze towards her book.

"I don't approve this." The prince said.
"Pardon me?" 
" I don't approve this marraige. Just so you know" 

The prince was constantly thinking about how to prove something. Prove that Lady Genevive really changed.  So he thought of something. Actually from the first, he really didn't like being told what to do. And then when he heard that he was bethrothed, he could only accept it as he was a prince after all. A prince couldn't freely choose whoever he likes. 

Genevive smiled at what he said. "Don't worry your highness, the feeling is mutual." 

Hearing that, the Prince got off gaurd. He wondered if she was really that Genevive he met before. But it piqued his interest somehow. He remembered clearly what Genevive had been showing him since they were first introduced to each other. She had been so clingy to him, and acting close with him. It was obvious she liked him. Now, she said she didn't like the engagement too? Who is she trying to dupe? How could he believe that?

"It seems you've changed your decision." Prince Gabriel said.

Hearing that, Genevive could only purse her lips and look away. She remembered the same prince asking her if she liked the marraige that was arranged for them. And she had answered 'If it's you Gabriel I don't mind.' She shamelessly called the prince his name instead of 'your majesty'. 

"What's your reason for changing your decision?" The prince asked again.

" Uh. It's nothing much, your highness. I just thought, since you don't like me I might as well, uhm, disapprove the arranged marraige." She said, she was trying to think of something to say. She can't really tell the prince that she was a different person right? She would be branded as an impostor!

"Quite thoughtful of you.. Since we both disapprove the marraige, why don't you tell our parents to cancel it?" Since she came up with that idea then he might as well test her. He didn't sugarcoat anything and the sarcasm on his remark was pretty obvious.

"That, I also thought of that too but, we have to honor our great grandparents' choices. And also, asking our parents to cancel the engagment will take much time, I don't want to be a hassle to my father anymore." She answered with confidence. 'Plus I don't want to end up with someone much worse than you.' She added in her mind. The way he asked her was somewhat rude. But she didn't mind it though she was actually surprised that such young prince emmited coldness.

She gathered information on her own by sneaking in corners unnoticed and eavesdrop on the maids that were talking about the prince. She learned about the twins' attitude. She chose to believe them at first but, if she saw that that really wasn't the case, she'd just drop the ideas.

"Hm.. interesting" The prince murmured under his breath smirked at the prospect and he was right. That indeed the Genevive he knew was now someone different. And the difference is really, really far. Now he felt really interested to know more about this little girl. The girl was constantly reading books of sorts. He too had be reading as way of 'spending time' with her. And as for 'accompanying her' he didn't really mind reading. And plus, she was reading like every minute not even bothering to go downstairs for lunch which resulted to them eating at the library. 

Genevive was taught proper etiquette which Catie herself was taught long before. Although this time it was quite hard because the proper ways here were a bit more complexed than that of her world. And she did know that not eating in the dining table was a rude thing to do, she had asked the prince anyway so that shouldn't be a problem...

"Do you ever stop to take a break from reading?" The prince unexpectedly initiated a conversation, but Genevive was too busy reading to respond to the other party and possibly create conversation but it would be rude not to answer...  But if possible she would answer as short as possible.

"If I have to your highness" She answered quite shortly.

"Why?"

"To pass time"

"So you pass time by reading intently as if you don't know the history of our kingdom? And make it seem like a study for an exam?"

I couldnt forget last night, did he really love me? Or was he trying to convince himself into it? Well neither mattered because we were getting married today, he had ordered a dress for me- I expected it to be plain and far too big but he had checked my size with Grandmama and he had picked the most beautiful dress.
It had a huge ruffly skirt and the torso felt like silk against my skin...It was perfect. I had my hair done in a simple yet elegant bun, even if we werent marrying for love It felt like We were throughout the wedding. As I walked up the aisle he looked at me like he really loved me, I must of looked at him in the same way since Grandmama looked suprised. 
After the ceremony we went to dinner since nobody knew it was an arranged marraige, I didnt eat much infact the last thing I was thinking about was food I was thinking about last night when he kissed me, why he helped me, how our marraige would be burdened and cold and why we even had to get married in the first place.
I barely spoke all evening until we went to bed, "Why did we have to get married?"
"Because it opens up connections for both our families."
"Did you want to get married," I asked eagerly, but he didnt answer my question he just said, "we should get to sleep I have work tomorrow and I'm sure you're tired, goodnight miss Zhao." He turned out the lights and I knew I wouldnt get my answer any time soon.
