"Do you have an org already?"
A highly enthusiastic girl approached me as I was passing by the corridor just right after my Programming 101 class.
I had to force a smile so I won't seem such a stinker, "Uh, no, not yet."
The girl handed me a flyer in which reads "BE PART OF THE FAMILY", I scoffed. Family my ass. Apparently, this org is the "mother" organization of the whole college. No wonder why that girl seemed so familiar, as if I've seen her a hundred times already in the past week.
Just the thought of being surrounded by people who already know each other to the core made me nauseous. If I join this org, that means I have to be the one who sits at one corner until somebody approaches me. And if my answer is not smart enough, I might end up sitting in silent again, waiting for another person to approach. The dreading cycle continues.
Fuck it. I thought to myself. Being alone every free time is not doing any good. I know I like to think that I don't have friends, but I do have a few company whenever I'm in class. But I'm not getting a genuine vibe from them.
Well, if this org is mother shit then it might have some awesome people there, then. 
Besides, how bad can it be? 

Sentry Tech, Co.
 The org's office was located at the end of the corridor of the 4th floor. I know I told myself that there's no way that joining this org could bring any harm, but the moment I went in, there was literal screaming.
 It seems like the office is shared by two organizations. Its size is twice as big as a normal classroom, so there's just enough space, not too crowded. 
 However, as I enter, it seemed like there's a division of heaven and hell. I can legit feel the tension of the other org and their loud voices made the room feel smaller that it should be.
 "For Sentry Tech?" a familiar voice said. I guess I was too distracted by the other organization that I forgot my purpose of visit.
 I turn to the person, and it was another student who I might have also seen a few hundred times around the school. He has the same aura as the girl who handed me the flyer. Their space has a few tables, with the others, I'm guessing their other members, chatting. The guy who approached me is sitting on a monoblock chair, seemingly busy, but still attentive of my presence. 
 "Uhm. Yes, kind of. I want to inquire for the requirements." I replied as I walk towards him, while still glancing over the other side of the room.
 "THEN FIND GODDAMN A SUB!"
 The whole room was startled. A guy from the other organization shouted in full terror, as if he owned the other people, which again, I'm guessing members of his org.
 I shook my head and turned again to the guy, who is now walking towards me with his hands clasped together, suggesting how eager he is that I'm here. "Are you interested in joining?" he asked.
 I gave him an unsure smile. "Well, I was wondering available positions because the flyer doesn't indicate any."
 A slight laughter was his reply after I showed him the flyer. "We're sorry about that, but currently we're looking for an assistant secretary and a few junior officers."
 Just hearing the word officer almost gave me a panic attack. "No no," I almost copied his slight laughter, "Well, actually I was hoping there might be an opening for graphic artist, or a photographer, or videographer. Or maybe a video editor."
  His eyes were calm as I talked. But it weirded me out when he didn't blink for 5 straight seconds. I realized, the whole room turned totally silent. I looked around and found everybody staring at our direction.
 They were staring at me.
 The guy I was talking to let out an obviously sarcastic laugh, "Well, Ax. I guess I'll let you have her." He said in loud volume. Then I realized he was talking to somebody across the room. 
 My eyes widen when it finally sink in that he was talking about me. At first, I was looking at the Sentry Tech guy, then my head turn aggressively to the ones across the room. The guy who shouted earlier looked like he just went into a boxing match. He was breathing heavily with a deadly glare. I traced his eyes and he was looking at the Sentry Tech guy.
 "Oh, yeah." Sentry Tech guy said, "I'm Yvo. But I guess if you want to pursue the positions you want, —" Yvo was then interrupted by a voice so close behind me.
 "Are you any good?" An impulse cause me to turn around. I found the guy, who Yvo called as Ax, standing behind me. And now in front of me.
 Ok. All of this is too familiar for me. This feels a lot like my experience on finding a college where all I wanted to do is break down and cry, but time won't allow me.
 "I guess I'm pretty confident of—"
 "Good enough." He interrupted me and he is the one who has the guts to turn his back at me. 
 I was dumbfounded.
 "I'm sorry about that." I turned to Yvo right after he apologized. "Their name's Avant-Garde." What a lazy name. "They are very short in members and they have this huge event coming up. I also really hope that you can help them out. I guess it's better if Ax would be the one to explain it to you. Don't worry. He's a cool guy."
 I nodded and thanked Yvo. I felt like I shouldn't have mentioned my desired position. I felt like this is a beginning of a disaster. But my regrets meant nothing now. I couldn't possibly chicken out. The moment I entered the office, I am fully aware of the tension that the other half of the room has. And now, I am walking towards them, as if I am being suck into their dark energy.
 None of the members dared to say a word, and just watched me as I stood in front of the desktop computer where Ax browses stuff. He finally got up after a solid minute and stood beside me with his arms crossed on his chest. I felt like his features would sink into me after I got out of this hell of an office. But right now, all he looked like to me is the one that would welcome me when I finally reach the gates of hell. The words he shouted earlier still echoes in my brain.
 "Can you do that?" he pointed at the playing video in the desktop. It was an evident rip off of an online motion graphic tutorial that consists of a cracked plug in.
 I had to clear my throat to brush off the thought that Ax is apparently challenging me by this unoriginal work, "Sure. I know a few tutorials that does that."
 He nodded. "We'll give you the files and instructions. Deadline's tomorrow morning, 10am sharp. Don't be the cause of delay."  
 I had to retrace what just happened. I remembered reminding myself that joining an org wouldn't hurt. 
Right now, all I can feel is like I'm being sorely chained from this room.

Once the head of the new magic council sat down, some of the other members started to voice their feeling over certain matters, that were occurring within Fiore, such as the clean up of Siegrain/Jellal and Ultear

Mazuu and Babaraki were complaining at the fact that it was ridiculous that the both of them had managed to infiltrate the council in the first place, while Noura was silent, and both Loewen and Saban didn't look interested

After about 20 minutes of complaining with the other members, more than what else they should implement to make sure that this doesn't happen again, Gran Doma had gotten quite annoyed with them

Gran Doma: Enough!

Everyone had then shut their mouths and didn't let out a peep. Adrian along with Jura just smirked at everyone who looked a bit scared, as they weren't fazed even a bit

Gran Doma: Instead of complaining, lets talk about why we are actually here. And that is to assess the damage done by Fairy Tail, during the Oracion Seis incident

Immediately everyone started to murmur amongst themselves, saying things like they deserve to be disbanded due to them causing too much trouble, and how them having the amount of power that they have isn't right

Org: I have to disagree with you there, they did help stop Oracion Seis, who, bear in mind would have caused a lot more damage if not for their interference 

Noura: I have to agree with Org, as he is speaking the truth. The alliance between Fairy Tail, Cait Shelter, Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale was in everyone's benefit as they had manage to neutralise them in time

Gran Doma: I won't deny what they have done wasn't noteworthy, however that doesn't make up for the mistakes they've made in the past

Org: So what are you suggesting exactly?

Gran Doma: If they do slip up once again, in any way..... we should take them all out with Etherion

Everyone who was at the meeting were shocked... Etherion!... the amount of casulaties would be catastrophic, as they'd be releasing it in a populated area

Adrian was livid while Jura, who was sitting right next to him could feel his anger rising, had gotten quite uncomfortable to say the least

Adrian: You know.... you should be thankful to us..... not threatening to blow us up.... you never know what might happen

Adrian's words carried a tone of anger but calmness at the same time, using his pressure he forced everyone to be silent as they listened to his words, and instead of listening to it with just their ears, they felt that their hearts were being constricted by him, finding it a bit hard to breathe

Gran Doma: Y-you... you d-dare threaten me...

Adrian: Threaten?.... no you old bastard, i'm warning you, fairy tail does not take kindly to threats, especially not after us basically doing your jobs for you, so instead of sitting here placing the blame on your mistakes, i expect each of you to fucking send every guild that took part in the mission to stop Oracion Seis, a gift basket, with a note thanking them for their work.... maybe even throw in a bit of prize money and a few barrels of drinks to go with it

Every word Adrian said weighed them down as they started to nod, meanwhile Gran Doma sat there silently, glaring at Adrian's impudence, gaining even more hate towards Fairy Tail

Gran Doma and the rest were released from Adrian's pressure. The rest of the meeting was uncomfortable for them, while Jura just sat there in smiling, while occasionally giving his input to a few of the issues, as Adrian also did the same

When the meeting was ended, Gran Doma gave Adrian a harsh glare as he left. Adrian and Jura exchanged a few words, asking each other how they were doing, and if anything was new between them, which led to Adrian telling Jura about his relationship with Mira, and how he asked her to move in with him, to which Jura had congratulated him

After saying goodbye to Jura he left straight for the guild to inform the master in his office, of what went on during the meeting. The master was very angry at what Gran Doma had suggested, but immediately calmed down after hearing what Adrian's response was, which got him chuckling slightly

When he left the masters office and was on his way to leave and head on home, he was met by Guildarts

Guildarts: Hey kid!

Adrian: Oh hey Guildarts, what's up?

Guildarts smirked at Adrian before he asked him something he's been wanting to for a while now

Guildarts: I wanna fight you kid, you have a fire in your eyes that i don't see from most people, even Natsu, also the pressure you gave off before was really quite something

When Guildarts practically challanged Adrian to a fight, everyone stopped speaking, moving, HELL they even stopped breathing. Meanwhile Adrian just smirked at this and looked Guildarts straight in the eyes

Adrian: Sure, just name a time and place

Guildarts: Hehe, i like you kid... so how about tomorrow at 9am, out back in the training field

Adrian: Sure that sounds good to me, I'll see you tomorrow then

Guildarts: Yeah I'll see you tomorrow 

When they parted ways the guild members were basically rioting in the hall, screaming their lungs off. They all knew Guildarts was the strongest, and considering the fact that Adrian had found it easy to defeat Laxus, and has fought against the master, and had heard stories from Gray and Natsu, which had been backed up by Erza and Mira of Adrian's strength. They had no doubt that he was the second strongest of the Guild

Now thanks to the challenge, issued by Guildarts himself, they will get to see 2 titans fight. Tomorrow was going to be one hell of a day, but currently Adrian didn't care as he was heading home, and was excited to spend his first night in his new home with his girlfriend

On his way home from college one day, he was crushed to death by construction beams. 

Now he begins his new life in a place where magic and dragons exist. 

A place where he will become the strongest of them all and take the world by storm

While many players were waiting for the timer to end, in the "Evolutioners" office, staff were extremely busy.
15 more workers had been recruited by Fei Hong in the past month. 5 of them for office work and 10 were for server and game monitoring team.
They were all busy typing and making final arrangements for the launch of the game.
The game monitoring team was given access to the server but they were only allowed to access the game data and minor programs.
They had no access to the core algorithm program.
The main thing they had to do was to answer the question of the player and fix some minor problems faced by them.
There were no bugs in the game as it was optimized by the library and test run by Qing.
Though Qing could monitor and do all this stuff easily, Fu Yan did not want to expose her so he let Fei Hong hired a team for these minor problems.
All the workers in the office were told that they were just a second-team as the main developer team was working from somewhere else.
Fei Hong did not ask questions and did as she was told by Fu Yan.
She knew he had a reason to do so and would tell her later.
Everything was proceeding smoothly and the countdown entered the final hour.
Players were already flocking the website.
The game software was only 1Gb in size and these just some files that were needed to connect to the cloud platform and some minor stuff.
Fu Yan thought about this problem a lot and even used some technologies from the library to make it perfect.
The main thing was to allow users to play not let them see the data and how the game was working.
He knew that many internet companies were staring at this game launch because of the technology promised and if users were allowed to download full game, these companies would crack it eventually no matter how advanced the technology is.
He did not have the power to protect himself and the technologies yet so he would rather play safe.

Tang Qin was also staring at the countdown on the download button.
Finally, the countdown entered the last 10 seconds.
He stared at it and counted.

And then he started to spam the download button.
Many would say why he spammed when he could download it eventually, That was because when are hundreds of users trying to download a file, it would eventually lag and he won't be able to download it till an hour later.
But to his surprise, the file started to download immediately and the speed was not slow.
He was not the only one surprised, all the users who tried to download did not face any difficulty.
Everything proceeded as planned.
Some users were doubting the game because the size of the file was only 1Gb and the game promised very high-end graphics.
Tang Qin was also doubting it but he still downloaded it and ran the program.
He got prompt that the program was installed and he could launch it.
He ran the program and a beautiful interface popped up.
He started to enter the details that were asked.
First, he had to enter an account name and his age.
After filling all this he was asked to enter a mobile number for verification.
He verified it and created an account.
After this, the game was launched.
He was taken to a character creation page and he created his character. He was again asked to verify his age.
"What verify my age, what the hell is this. How can I verify my age."
Just when he was thinking this, he was asked whether the game could access his camera.
He allowed it and the camera opened.
A message popped up on the game page.
"To allow the user to experience the best entertainment in-game and provide security for the account, you can use the face lock function for the game. It is used to lock an account to a face and it can be transferred if you want."
Tang was amazed after reading this message.
He looked at the camera for 5 sec as it was asked by the game and a message popped up again.
"Face has been bound to the account. Age confirmed. 18 years old. Thanks for choosing to play our game. For a better experience, we suggest you chose a profession that you like to be in real life. Enjoy."
Fu Yan added this technology at the last day. He saw it when he was browsing books in the library and was being trained by old Shun about how to handle and do different things in the library.
After thinking a bit, Tang chose an alchemist as his profession because he wanted to be a chemist in real life.
After doing all this, the screen changed again and his character was standing in a field.
He controlled his character and moved around. The movements were fluid and the graphics looked real.
It was as if he was watching a real-life recording. He could see the individual leaves of a tree and tiny strands of grass.
The grass swayed with the wind and cloth fluttered naturally.
"Wow, This game is too real."
He ran towards a tree and kicked it. The trunk shook a little and leaves fell.
He tried to climb the tree by moving a little but fell halfway but it showed that his movements were not restricted in-game.
Even the way his character fell, looked natural.
He wondered.
"How much resources and programing was used to make this game real"
"These graphics are top class then my PC should have been boiling right now but even the cooling fan is not running."
He looked at the PC resources being used and it was not even 30%.

When the sun started to rise, he finished cleaning. All the dust and odors were completely gone, leaving only the fresh scent from the disinfecting water. It smelled just like before.

His parents had always taught him to keep a clean mind and live a clean life. 

He had gotten all sweaty from cleaning the store. He moved the reclining chair to the door and rested for a few minutes. 

Now that he had decided to take over the pet store, there had to be some paperwork to handle. First, he needed to change the owner’s name from his parents to his name on the business license. He was not familiar with the procedure, so he started researching online using his cell phone.  

"I have to go to the notary’s office. So much work!"

In order to inherit and transfer the pet store to his name, he needed to get an inheritance notarization using his ID card, the deed for the pet store, and his parents’ death certificates.

Zhang Zian always tried to avoid dealing with troublesome matters like that because he hated them. He was not even sure how he made such an irrational decision like inheriting the pet store.

He wanted to have a fresh mind and pull himself together. No matter how sad he was, he should not show his tears to the customers.

He opened the app store in his cell phone and started a search with "pet" as a keyword. He wanted to see if there was an app which would teach people how to run a pet store, although deep in his mind he didn’t think he would be able to find it.

Umm, what was that?

A game with a "limited time download" sign showed up in the search results.

Some apps and software were free for a limited time, but this was the first time he ran into something tagged "limited time download."

He laughed. He achieved his goal to freshen up his mood. 

Exaggerating! This was way over the line!

It might be possible to capture virtual pets, but how was it possible to capture a real pet with a cell phone? It even mentioned capturing mythical creatures... Unbelievable!

There was a countdown next to the game, showing that there were only 00 hours, 00 minutes, and 49 seconds left to download.

"Let’s see if this really is a ‘limited time download’!"

He hit the "download" button, and the download shortly reached full speed. 

This game was pretty large. Hopefully it wasn’t a virus!

He hesitated. When he was about to cancel the download, it showed "download completed!" on his cell phone.

Almost at the same time, the downloading page disappeared. The app store went back to the home page automatically. 

He put the keyword "pet" in the search bar again.

"Oh really?! Nothing?!"

The result showed nothing was matching his keyword. 

He didn’t want to give up yet. He added "hunter" after "pet" as keywords, but still nothing came up.

"This game is really a limited time download… What does the developer want?" he murmured to himself, confused.

Developers made games for marketing. The more players there were, the broader the influence. The broader the influence, the more money the game would make. Even free games earned reputation for the developer. Limiting the time to download meant limiting traffic. Who would do something like that? 

A dialogue popped up on his cell phone: Install? 

He chose "Yes."

Installing…

Installation completed. "Confirmed" or "Open"?

He chose "Open."

The logo of "Pet Hunter" showed up on the screen.

He used the fingerprints on his right hands for online banking. Just in case it was a scam, he used his left hand to record the fingerprints.

The background looked like the deep dark night. A shining white light was jumping lightly.

The sudden voice caught him off guard. He almost threw away his cell phone.

"Ugh, is it the customer service representative? How do I contact her…I don’t see where to input words…" Zhang Zian was speaking to himself, feeling confused.

"Really?! You can hear me?!" he asked, once again surprised. 

[Navigation Elf]: Yes! I can hear you nice and clear!

"OMG! This is a 24-hour one-on-one customer service representative! No wonder the download was limited…" He shrugged his shoulders and thought, "This game must be high in costs. How come I didn’t see the developer’s name… What is it? Hiding from fame?"
