But with all the complications, tragedies, and darkness that exist in the ruined Land, this seems to be better said than done.

This is a story based on the famous Mobile Legends Game.

After dinner, Landon decided to continue writing books on all the knowledge he acquired from: his past life as an engineer and from the system rewards.
Ever since he finished the farming mission a while ago, he had been writing daily on : Farming, Basic Chemistry and Mathematics.
He had been using the system's time capsule, for 3 hours a day in the real world (** 15 days in the time capsule) alongside a concentration speed pill.
1 concentration speed pill allowed him to concentrate and write super fast for 1 hour in the real world.
After taking the pill, he realized that in 2 hours (10 capsule days), he had written 5 books. Landon was pleased with the pill.
So far, he had written 32 copies of basic chemistry, 25 copies of introduction to farming, 39 copies of Basic Mathematics and 3,000 timetable parchment papers for each student.
Today, after his morning teaching session, he decided to continue making more copies. His goal was to have: 60 copies of basic Chemistry, 50 copies of introduction to farming and 60 copies of basic Mathematics by Friday.
Once all the copies were done, he would allocate them to schools and all industrial departments in Baymard.
He also decided to continue writing and re-adjusting the laws in Baymard, as well as the military rules for soldiers.
Baymard was sort of a ruleless city. Since the empire stopped caring about the place, the nobles who lived here before, just did what they wanted and also took what they wanted.
'They were just bullies'. Landon thought.
And just like that, Landon's week flew by fast.
He spent his days: writing, teaching, assisting in farming, building mud houses, fishing, training and building gigantic furnaces for different departments in the construction industry.
Occasionally, he would also visit the mines and the alchemy laboratory, to see how they were doing.
By the time it was Friday, he had accomplished all his goals.
Out of the total copies he had, he kept 30 Basic Chemistry books, 30 Basic Mathematics books, 30 Introduction to farming books and 2000 copies of the timetable in the school storage room.
In Baymard, every student would get 2 parchment paper timetables for free.....But if the student loses them, he/she would have to buy one from the school or ships in the central region. 2 of them would cost 1 copper coin.
As for the rest of the books, he decided to distribute them to all supervisors and overseers within all the industries in Baymard.
On Friday, Tim came back with a large wagon filled with pickaxes. They were unloaded and neatly arranged in a tool storage facility for the workers.
Thinking about it now, Landon thought it would be a good idea to build a locker room where everyone could keep their tools in it. Of course building it, would be the duty of deoartment 4, when they start working.
Landon gave 10 copies of basic Chemistry,10 copies of basic Mathematics and 300 Timetable sheets to the construction industry.
Since all the supervisors already know how to read and write, as well as do math, he decided to give them the copies. Be it the alchemists or even Tim's group of people. All of then knew how do read
Hence, each supervisor was to keep 1 copy and read and fully understand them.
In the future, although these courses will still be taught in school, if the employee doesn't understand something at work, it is the duty of the supervisor to explain it to him/her.
Back on earth, supervisors and overseers knew the how's, the what's and the why's.....Why they kept the temperature low in some procedures, why the pressure was high, the dangers of doing certain things, and so on.
Engineering itself is a very risky field. Some compounds and chemicals, can only be kept or worked on, at certain pressures and temperatures.
Higher pressure's, could cause explosions in the tank, killing everyone instantly. Afterall 95% of chemicals are flammable at specific entropys, pressure's and so on.
Hence, in Landon's mind, the supervisors and overseers must be knowledgeable enough to explain and assist the workers. They must act and guide all those under them.
He also gave 10 copies of basic Chemistry, 10 copies of basic Mathematics and 300 copies of the Timestable to the Qlchemy Industry.
As well as, 4 copies of basic Chemistry, 8 copies of introduction to farming, 4 copies of basic Mathematics and 300 copies of the timetable to the Food Industry.
His reason for giving the food industry Chemistry and Mathematics books, was simple.
Very soon, Baymard would start processing canned tomatoes, tuna and many more. As well process their own spices and food preservatives.
To make all this happen, chemistry plays a major part in it, talk less of Mathematics.
Once the night came, Landon jumped onto his bed and closed his eyes immediately.
---------------zzzzzzzzzzz' --- finally, the little king was fast asleep.
Again, the days flew by fast, and just like that, Monday was here.
'Let's make some glass' Landon thought.
Gunpowder was a delicate thing.
To make it, one needed saltpeter, charcoal and PURE sulphur. The purer the sulphur, the stronger the explosive effect of the gunpowder.
So far, there was saltpeter and charcoal available, but pure sulphur was a different matter on it's own.
Pyrite rocks (called the fool's gold) is formed when Iron ore and sulphur, fuse together naturally with time. Since Iron is silvery and sulphur is yellowish, the rock is a blend between the two colors and can easily be spotted in the mines. Hence the name fool's gold.
Most Pyrite rocks have 53% sulphur, in them.
If Landon just threw these pyride rocks in with the charcoal and saltpeter, the gunpowder it would produce would be trash.
He needed at least 97% of pure sulphur, for it to be extremely powerful. Hence extraction was the only way.
Landon could have used the clay pot method to extract the sulphur but that method was unsafe and not practical for industrial use.
Generally, when Sulphur is being extracted, a very poisonous and toxic gas called H2S is released.
When using the clay pot method, there is no real safe way to dispose of the H2S, making the workers breath the poisonous gas.
Large amounts of H2S can instantly damage your health, but small batches will not cause a lot of harm.That's why people only use this clay pot methods in small batches (5 to 6 stones) a time.
Landon didnt want to risk the health of his workers health, so the clay pot method was off the table.
How could he let them breath in poisonous gases? The workers would be producing gunpowder for god know how long. At leafy it should be safe.
Hence, he decided to build his own apparatus using Iron and glass. He wanted to create a safe way to dispel the H2S gas, as well as carry out an industrial scale batches (150-300 stones).
If he was going to build something, why not make it industrial scale? What's the point of throwing 5 or 6 rocks there, when you could throw 100's?
It didn't make anything sense for Landon, who had hired more than 100 workers to just through a few stones a day. He wanted a mass production of sulphur, not a tiny sample.
'Go big or go home', he thought.
He also decided to build it in a way that was easy to manually control for now.....But when electricity would come...hehehe.....he would attach temperature sensors, pressure sensors and other devices to a control room.
'Ahhhh...the future is so bright..... I cant wait to build a food processing plant.... oh wait!!....I miss toothpaste maybe a...no no no...I'll do an industrial paint making plant first.' Landon thought while drowning in his futuristic fantasies.

I started spending a lot of time with Maya for the past 2 months. She is very mature for her age and has an older sister air around her. She helps me crawl, eat and enjoys reading books for me. At the same time, I think she figured out that I am not your average baby. She always talks to me as if I understand her and I sometimes unintentionally nod when she asks something... But I have a feeling that she is like mother, I can trust her.
Another thing is that Nigel has been showing up less and less, it seems he is spending a lot of time clearing the Growling Woods that have started to house more and more mana beasts. While spending time with Maya and mother I learned more about our territory, according to the books there was a blood-thirsty mana beast of unknown origin that slaughtered humans and even his own kin a thousand years ago. Apparently even emperor Julius was not able to kill the beast so instead, he sealed it in the nearby woods and the beast was growling ever since, hence the name Growling Woods.
Not sure how I feel about this emperor Julius character, he gets mentioned in almost every book there is, were there no other heroes after his death? What makes me the most puzzled is that in his story it says that he was born a farmer but an 'Evil Witch' killed his village and forced him into slavery. After many years of being a slave, he somehow managed to escape and vowed to punish the 'Evil Witch' and all of her 'Evil' female friends for all the atrocities that they have done. In almost all of the stories about him women are portrayed as inferior and because of that they are more likely to walk the path of evil? It kinda makes no sense because usually, it is the other way around? Or am I just using the common sense from Earth that does not apply here? The one thing that is surprisingly strange is that he was the one that encouraged humans to only have one united language. It's quite weird how there are no records of the human race before emperor Julius it's as if humans did not exist before that. It doesn't make sense, surely there must have been some knowledge recorded in other languages. Did they translate all the old books to this new centralized language or have they been forgotten? I wish 'Siri' wasn't so useless when it comes to knowledge about how the world works. Didn't geezer say she will help me to learn about the world? What a scam artist...
Oh and apparently I just needed to write a word and it was enough for the [Helper System] to complete the quest, well I guess if I can write a word I can write many more? Not sure if such an achievement is akin to me being a 'genius' but it probably has to do with me being 5 months old?

The faster learning part is good but the threshold part is even better. I now have a general idea of how power is measured. Normal people have an average stats of about 10, they are also called dregs of society because they failed to pass the threshold of 10 and can't become apprentice warriors. Apprentice warriors are those that have passed the threshold of 10, I am not sure at what point you become an actual warrior but it seems that warriors are far rarer than apprentice ones. After that comes knights which my father is, a very respected individual by all races, and they seem to be the main powerhouses of many kingdoms. I can only assume but I think that dragon knight is the next stage but I might be wrong. It would be weird that someone who is so much glorified as a legendary existence is only one stage higher than that dumb father of mine. Or I might be presumptions and biased? I might just be looking for a reason to dislike my father because I had a scumbag one on Earth. But if Knights are so respected in all societies why is our family at the bottom of the noble rankings? I am not saying I am dissatisfied with my current lifestyle but we aren't particularly living in luxury either. Instead of getting more answers, I keep getting more questions... Just why is our Moon family in such a state?
Anyways these 2 months were very fruitful, not only did I finish the [Knowledge is Power 1] but I also finished [Before you learn how to run you must learn how to walk] quest.

It is quite surprising that my family has access to a thousand books. I wouldn't say that we are poor but all of the books are hand-written and it is far beyond from what we can afford unless books are somehow cheap? There are affinities for almost any element, apparently, my sister and father have an affinity for ice magic which is a tier higher than water magic but in my [Status] it does not show that I have an affinity for ice magic. From the few books that I have read, it seems that those that can tame mana beasts are only demons but somehow I 'a human' can possess such [Talent] with the help of [Helper System]. It seems that as geezer said, I can choose any path I want, but probably becoming a heretic isn't the brightest idea... But becoming an Alchemist could be a lucrative opportunity, from what I read only 1 in 10000 posses an Alchemist [Talent] and are highly valued by all kingdoms. So if I get tired of doing quests and just want to live a happy life of luxury I always have a way out. Well, of course, I would need to amass a little bit more of [HP] because right now I am only gaining it as an additional reward and not as an actual reward...
Another interesting thing is that my sister in only 2 months went from 1-star apprentice to 2-star and by the look of things it seems that even father was shocked by this news. Considering the fact that the apprentice warriors of our family are around 6 to 8 stars and are full-fledged adults even I am a little bit shocked. I do see her train every single day but did those apprentices not train too or is my sister way more awesome than I thought? At least Nigel is not here to taunt her...

Nate was a boy genius who lived his whole life paralyzed. He decided to take a chance with a risky surgery but it seemed at it failed because instead of waking up in the hospital room he found himself laying on a floor in what seems to be the afterlife?

The next day, Adone went to the Royal library, after taking a shower and finishing his breakfast.
He stood there, in front of the royal library, and watched the building that gave the feeling as if it had witnessed the vestiges of time.
He asked one of his guards that came with him, "Go, inform the head librarian of my arrival"
He didn't want to cause any trouble, as even royalty can't enter the royal library without proper procedure. He will later find out, that gaining access to the royal library was like a report card that showed how likely a prince is to be considered a candidate for the status of crown prince and his favorability in the eye of the king which also explains why Adone's sister was able to gain access to the royal library easily (doesn't matter if she was banned afterward). It also makes the standing of the person in the royal clan clear.
"Please wait, your highness, I will inform the head librarian," the guard said as he walked inside the massive building.
After ten or so minutes an old man with a long white beard walked out of the building. (The regular cliché of Dumble##re)
"How can I be of service, your highness?" he asked with neither being rude nor being servile.
"Father, his Majesty asked me to deliver this scroll to you" he gave the scroll to the old man.
The old man opened the scroll, read the letter and then stared at the kid with disbelief written all over the face but he didn't point it out 'how could a five year old kid be able to gain access to the library even if he was a royal'
He let out a sigh, then said "Come with me, your highness"
Adone followed him in the library along with his guards.
"This library was formed by the founder of the kingdom and your grandfather. This library holds almost all the knowledge that the kingdom was able to gather in its thousand years of existence. There are many books in this place that are one of its kind and the knowledge that they hold will be lost if the books are harmed, even though it might cause you no pain but it will be a huge blow to kingdom in the long run, so you must take care of the books that are placed in here"
"You are only allowed to take the books kept in first and second floor outside the library as they are copies of the originals that are stored in a secret location, the books on the third floor are only one of a kind thus you are not allowed to take it with you and even the ones you take, return them as earliest as possible though you are not required to return in specific time frame" He said sternly
"Yes, I know" replied Adone.
"You can take a look, the books are classified according to their subject so we can find them easily. If you have any problems please ask the librarian on the floor" the old man left soon after giving Adone an introduction to the library.
"Where should I start from? Umm... Okay, I will start from the geography and history section of the first floor and then move from there" Adone was so excited that he was not able to get all the information necessary without much of a problem or harassment of his sister.
He went to the geography section of the first floor and started reading the names of the books
"The Borders of Redash by ….."
"Redash…."
….
He collected some books, went to a nearby desk and started flipping through the book.
"Bionic Chip start collecting the data, give it title Redash"

In a few days, he was able to go through all the books in the geography section on the first and second floors. For this speed he had to daily come to the library to 'read' the books and take enough books with him as well, to read them at his home.
"Let's go to the third floor," he brought his guards with him to the third floor and started flipping through the books there as well, but was soon taken back by the fact that the books on the third floor were more descriptive and were firsthand accounts of people and travelers. 'I should have come here earlier'

In the Throne Room, the head librarian was standing in front of the king, giving a description of the activities of Adone.
"He is flipping through historic and geographic books as if trying to find something or someplace. He had already searched through all the books on the first two floors and is currently searching through the third floor"
"What is that brat up to?" The King continued "Let him do what he is doing but make sure to report to me everything related him"
"Yes, your majesty"

After six months,
"This is the last one" Adone muttered as he opens the book.
Over the next six months, Adone went through all the books in the library, to achieve this he lived a monotonic life for six months, which caused his mother to worry, but he never stopped only saying that he liked to read books.
"Bionic Chip! Rearrange all the data, remove any redundant data and save it with the title Agartha"

Its been eight months since my reincarnation and some things that happened remained secret only known to me and probably God.

(Flashback : 3rd month)

I was finally able to crawl and escape my crib while my mother and the maids are not watching me, heading towards the library. Of course, they don't know that I'm already able to crawl since I practice in secret. Luckily, my mom brought me to the library before and so, I know where it is. Its quite close to mom's room actually, where I'm currently residing in.

I was quite fortunate that time since the library was open, so I was able to enter. Before, my mom read me bedtime stories while I was on her lap and I can't help but notice that the letters in the books are different. When I noticed that, I finally realized that the language used here is different too. So how was I able to understand them and read?

That's what piqued my curiosity, and so I planned to make an advance visit to the library. I searched for a book that will let me use magic. Why? In some books that I read in my past life, there are some that says that we can check our status by using magic. I don't know how they use magic in this world, its not really explained in the game.

'*Beginner's Magic Guide*... Here it is!' I opened the books and read. Apparently to use magic, one must feel the energy within the body and control its flow. It should feel warm and feels like tingly electricity as you control the flow. It should look like little specs of light around the flame.

I took a deep breath and concentrated. I ignored everything as I try to feel the energy inside me. After several minutes, I started to feel something warm. I kept calm and continued concentrating. I saw a big flame and surrounding it is like billions of stars. 'How pretty...' I thought.

I  tried to control the energy called mana, and its harder than it looks like. But slowly, I was able to control it. It feels so warm and ticklish that I almost giggled. I stopped after a few minutes and continued reading.

According to the book, there are 5 types of magic: common, rare, legendary, forgotten, and unique

Common: Air, Fire, Earth, Water

Rare: Ice, Lightning, Metal, Poison

Legendary: Light, Dark, Summon, Alchemy 

Forgotten: Time, Death, Spacial

Unique: Unique magics can only appear once and can only be wielded by one person. Unique magic only appeared twice. Creation magic and Command magic

Creation magic lets the person create anything as long as the imagination and information on what's its made off, purpose, and how to use is complete. The usage of mana also depends on the size and amount the caster makes.

Command magic is the most dangerous apparently. The person can command anyone using an unknown language. The usage of mana depends on the amount of commands given and amount of people its being used on. 

I continued reading the book and finally got to the part on how I can check my status. The spell is called 'Appraise'. Its a magic used to check information on something or someone and the information gained can only be seen by the caster. To use magic, one must chant the word either inside the head or vocal. Surprising fact? The pronunciation should be english. 'Too easy...' I grin.

'[Appraise]!' I chant in my head. A neon blue screen appeared in front of me.

Upon seeing my HP, I was surprised to see that it's lessened. 'Must be because I fell on my face twice while trying to crawl properly... The real question is how I got level 10 already...'

I raised an eyebrow at my status. 'God really did made me a cheat. Thankfully I'm not too overpowered. It's too boring if its like that.' I opened the description for my unique magic.

{Star Magic: Unique magic. It allows the user to use the abilities of the stars and constellations. Mana usage for stars is 1, while constellation consumes 5.}

Okay... That's fine... I'm not too overpowered right? I'm still 3 months old and yet I have this amount of mana and my level is high. I read in the book that humans normally start at Level 1 with the HP of 10 and MP of 20 and don't level up till their 1 year old. So how come I'm already at level 10 when I'm not 1 year old?

{Growth- A passive ability that lets the person level up and improve their HP and MP in an impressive speed.}

{Decipher: A passive ability that lets the person understand any language and read any letters.}

'That explains everything...' I already know what eidetic memory is so no need to see the description. 'Now, I'm guessing I spent a lot of time here and mom and the maids will be checking up on me soon, time to go!'

I put the book back and began crawling, only to fall face first. 'Ouch!'

Ever since that day, I began to practice my magic in secret. I was especially exited to practice my Star magic but decided that I'll practice it when I'm older and when I'm already somewhat fluent with controlling my mana. So I started with my Air magic, which is harder than it looks.

I first tried to summon a gentle breeze, which is quite easy. However, forming a tiny tornado on my palm is harder. Controlling the amount of mana I let out while controlling the flow of it is hard. I was never great at multi tasking anyways... But after 2 months of practicing, I was finally able to create at least 5 tiny tornadoes spinning around me like a bunch of spinning tops.

But I knew that that wasn't enough... Electricity will be harder to control and more dangerous. So I still continued practicing my air magic. I next tried flying around by controlling the wind. I was lucky that I'm in mother's room so when I fail, I always fall on her queen sized bed. 

It took me another two months before I finally managed to fly freely. It was such a great success! But I was almost caught...

(Flashback : 7th month)

I was slowly floating. When I was at least 2 feet above the ground, I began moving around nice and slowly. After a few minutes of flying around slowly, I slowly sped up. When I didn't become unstable, I began to become daring and tried to fly as fast as a bird and as high as the room permits me.

It was fun. The place may be small, but with a little imagination, I felt free like a bird. But that sort of happiness is ruined when I heard the door knob turning. Without hesitation, I immediately flew towards my crib and manged to land somewhat gently when my mom fully opens the door.

'That was way too close!!!'

Since that day, I began experimenting on my mana. I remember some books in my past life that there is something called [Magic Sense]. I can still remember how Rimuru Tempest used Magic Sense. So I tried it, and eventually fell in love with it.

But all these activities of mine remained secret for the sake of not attracting other noble's attention. I read many reincarnated as a villain books where the villainess becomes a powerful cheat in order to escape death but attracts the capture target and heroine's attention. I don't want that!

But this month, I plan on showing my family that I can now crawl and baby talk. Why? Because I'm the duke's daughter and a noble. I'm expected to become a prodigy and I cannot afford to bring shame into this family.

So when my mom brought me to father's study, I began to baby talk. "Papa!" I giggle while reaching out to him. It's not fake by the way. I truly am happy to see my father.

Father froze for a moment before tears began flowing out of his eyes like waterfall. "Her first word is 'Papa'! The Gods have rewarded all my hard work!" he cries as he took me from my mother's arms and began hugging me tight, but still minding the fact that I'm still a baby.

"Mama!" I giggle as I pretend to try getting away from father.

"Mama to the rescue!" mother laughs as she tries to get me from my father, who dodges her attempt.

"Never!" father said while hugging me and dodges another attempt of my mother.

"Lai wuvs mama papa!" I giggle. It truly is such a warm feeling to see my family so happy together. 'I will protect this family. I swear.'

CHAPTER 3: Unsealing the Spirit

Tromer hasn't had any disciples before. Farjan is the first and maybe even the last.

"You are now a disciple of mine, and your first mission would be to... build a house for me."

Tromer doesn't have his own house in this world, since he has been living in Farjan's house, that's why he demanded a house. Besides, he can't build a house on his own as he has been seriously injured, and if he forces himself, the process of healing would slow down or he might even aggravate his wounds, causing them to open up and bleed.

Farjan looked blankly at Tromer. Clearly, he didn't expect that his first mission was to build a house for his master. He thought that his mission was somewhat connected to cultivation, but no matter how he thought about it, he couldn't see how building a house could help with his cultivation..

After a few seconds passed, Tromer said "What are you waiting for? Start now! Or else I will not teach you how to cultivate."

After hearing this, Farjan gritted his teeth and began to build the house.

Pok! Pok! Pok!

Rrrrr! Rrrrr! Rrrr

The sound of hammering and wood-cutting could be heard in the mountain as Farjan was building his master's house.

The sun was beginning to set and the horizon was already orange. A loud shout could be heard from some distance away.

"Haaaaaaaa!" A man shouted while holding a hammer in his hands. It's Farjan. After a whole day of working, he finally finished his master's house. Sweat could be seen all over his body.

"Master! I'm finished!", he said while panting.

"Don't shout, please! Oh! You're finished, okay now you can leave and take some rest. Come back tomorrow, and we will begin the first lesson regarding cultivation." Tromer said cooly.

Farjan excitedly left his master's house to go to sleep and let the day pass, so that tomorrow, he can start cultivating immediately.

The next day...

Farjan was so excited that he got up early, the sun had not even started rising yet.. Because of that, he did not go to his master, instead, he went to his family's farm and harvested some vegetables. But instead of personally selling the vegetables, he went to the market and asked a person, who he became friends with after selling there for numerous years.

Because Farjan will now start learning hot to cultivate, he could abandon some jobs, but that doesn't mean that he will abandon all of his jobs and little businesses. He still needs to give some support to his parents. After all, his father died long ago, and he has to take  the responsibilities of being the worker to earn money for their family. His mother makes clothes to support the family and since that doesn't earn much, he doesn't have a choice.

After doing the things that must be done, the sun had now risen. Farjan did some stretching and after a few minutes, he began to walk towards a certain mountain called 'Mt. Tri-mus'.

When he reached the mountaintop, he saw a simple house, the one which he built for his master. There, he saw a middle-aged man looking around 30 to 40 years old, holding a cup of coffee sitting on a chair in front of the house. It was obviously Tromer.

When Tromer saw his disciple walking towards him with a smile of excitement, he couldn't help but smile too. He took a sip of coffee and after putting down his cup, his smile was now nowhere to be seen.

"Looks like you're excited."

"Uh... Yes?"Farjan replied, a bit bashful, looking towards the ground.

"That's okay Farjan, in truth, I like that kind of attitude. When you're like that I think you will advance faster in cultivation ." He said coolly.

Tromer was clearly pleased by his disciple, but his face contradicts what he feels.

After that, Tromer went inside his house. After a while, he emerged from his house holding some books. He put them in front of Farjan and said, "Study these books. After you finished studying and memorizing the things written in them, return and I will personally teach you." With that, he turned and entered his house.

When Farjan saw the books in front of him, his eyes suddenly brightened, the reason was, because in his whole life he only touched a few books and if you tried counting them, you only need to use one hand. Farjan loved to study, because he believed that knowledge is one of the greatest weapons in the world. But having the greatest weapon, for him,means that he must have the greatest wealth.

He immediately took all of the books and  walked towards a tree where he started reading. He chose a book entitled 'Introduction to Cultivation'. The book was one and a half inches thick, but regardless of its thickness, Farjan still excitedly opened it and began to read.

While reading, he saw countless information regarding cultivation. It included information on how to start cultivating, how cultivation works, what needed to be done, what are the essential equipment needed and much more.

After he turned to a certain page, he saw how cultivation was divided by different realms of power. The first one was the Spiritual Stage, where you will cultivate to connect your spirit to the energy in the surroundings. It was divided into nine different levels and as you advance to different levels, you will become more powerful.

After finishing cultivating in the Spiritual Stage, you will start cultivating in the Soul Stage. There, the soul aspect is strengthened, up to the point where battles are fought using the soul force coming from the strengthened soul. This stage is also divided into nine levels.

The third one was the Profound Stage. Here, you will cultivate and make yourself 'profound' in the aspects of cultivation, it was also divided into nine levels.

These three levels were only part of the Earth Realm. There were higher realms aside from the Earth realm. There is the Heaven Realm, and after that is the legendary realm which all people dreamt of  The Celestial Realm. All of the realms were divided into three stages and nine levels. As you advance higher and higher, the more difficult it becomes to cultivate to the next level.

Farjan carefully read all of the information and memorized all of it in his mind. As he read, you can sometimes see a shocked expression on his face after reading some phrases. Clearly, he has read some shocking things about cultivation.

When it became afternoon, he stopped reading and went to look for something to eat. He went deep into the forest and there, he saw a wild boar, which he hunted and killed. After 10 minutes, Farjan emerged from the forest holding a dead boar.

Due to his status in life, hunting beasts is an easy task for him. He often hunts wild animals to eat and sometimes to sell in the market.

He went directly towards his master's house and asked him if he would like to take some. Tromer sliced a part of the boar's belly.

Unexpectedly, Tromer gave the sliced part to Farjan and he returned inside holding the large part of the boar's meat.

Farjan was shocked by this scene, but still, he roasted the sliced meat, while gritting his teeth and then ate the meat. After that, he continued reading.

Read, read, read, and read, that was the only thing that kept Farjan preoccupied for almost all of his time. He kept on reading until the five days later...

The sun was hung up high in the sky, it was afternoon and Farjan was walking up to the top of Mt. Tri-mus excitedly, why? Because today, he had just finished reading all the books that his master has given him. There were a total of ten books in his hands and all of them, are just books about the fundamentals of cultivation. He will return all of these books and after that, he will start the 'true' cultivation under the guidance of his master.

After a few minutes, he arrived at the front of his master's house and then knocked the door multiple times because of his excitement.

Knock! Knock! Knock! Knock...

Inside, Tromer was focused on doing something to his body, especially to the parts which had severe wounds.

"I can't heal these wounds completely; it had a curse! That damned Darnce! What kind of weapon is that Demon Bone Sword?! It can inflict a curse on me even if I am in the Heaven Realm...urgh! Right now I'm only in the Earth Realm because of that thing! " He furiously said while gritting his teeth.

Indeed, the Demon Bone Sword was no ordinary weapon. It had a curse that was very hard to treat. Tromer had done everything in order to remove the curse but no good results appeared. As for the treatment given to him by Farjan and his family, they are just 'first-aid'.It was not enough, even if all the clan's resources were to be used. He himself is the one who treated him using the methods of cultivators.

After a moment he heard multiple knocking sounds from his door that made him frown. He was expecting something because of the way the door is knocked. He expected that some emergency has happened but when he opened the door, he saw a familiar face holding books and an excited look on the face.

When Tromer saw his disciple, he asked, " Why are you here?" And when he saw the books in his disciple's hands "Don't tell me you can't handle reading those books and decided to quit?"

"Of course not! I'm came to bring these books back to you and start the true cultivation."

When Tromer heard what Farjan said he couldn't help but be shocked. "Don't tell me you have finished reading those books in just five days?" he thought.

He couldn't believe it, so he again asked a question, " Did you read everything that was written in them? Or did you just scan all of those books? "

When Tromer started cultivation, he didn't read all of the written things in the books, he just scanned it, so he thought that maybe, Farjan did the same thing too.

"Of course I read them all. After all, it is required for newbies in cultivation, and this is my first time having these many books, so I'm very encouraged."

"So you're a knowledge-loving man huh... If you want to read more I can give you more books. As for that books you hold, you don't need to give them back. Those are just trash in my spatial pouch."

When Farjan heard the words 'spatial pouch' he couldn't help but be shocked. Because of what he had learned from the books that Tromer gave, spatial pouches were pouches that stored almost everything, even something as large as his clan's Ancestral Mansion.

"You have a spatial pouch?", he asked with surprise.

Seeing this, Tromer couldn't help but laugh. Spatial pouches are ordinary things for cultivators, and he had many of those.

"I'll give you one when you enter the first level of Spiritual Stage, because the spatial pouch is operated using spiritual energy. That will also be my congratulatory gift. But before that, we must first unseal your Spirit."

"Unseal my spirit? There are no things written in books regarding unsealing the spirit before entering the spiritual realm!"

"That's right, but in your case, it must be done. I don't know the reason why your spirit is sealed, in fact, all of the people here in this world have their spirit sealed."

After that Tromer produced a brown-colored potion and a torch with no fire. He didn't give time for Farjan to speak or ask again. He gave the torch to Farjan for him to hold. Then, he drew a circular strange pattern on the ground.

When the pattern was finished, Tromer commanded Farjan to stand in the middle of the strange pattern holding the torch. Tromer put the potion in the part where the torch is supposed to emit fire. Then he lit the torch.

When the fire started to burn, the strange pattern suddenly emitted a dazzling blue light. It became brighter and brighter as time passed by. After a minute, it began to emit blinding light and when that happened, the torch's fire began to burn stronger than before.

Then suddenly, after some time, the torch fire was extinguished, and the glowing lights started to fade away.

Farjan felt refreshed after that. As if some severe disease was now gone from his body. The unsealing of his soul was a success!

"Now, you can finally start cultivating because the chains that bounded you are now gone. Take some rest and adapt to the changes that occurred to you."

"Thank you, master." Farjan bowed deeply and an expression of joy could be seen all over his body.

After that, he went back to his house to rest and to adapt, and started to explore the changes in himself.

Farjan Dowter, from the Mortal World has become a cultivator by helping a severely injured cultivator named Tromer, who, by chance ended up in their world where everyone is crippled because of an unknown reason.

The reason Soo Hyuk let out a sigh, as he went up to the exercise equipment filled third floor, is because he had to exercise. Soo Hyuk originally did not exercise. There's not enough time to even read a book, but exercising? It was unheard of.

This Soo Hyuk, the reason he began exercising is because exactly four years ago, he came to a realization. Up to four years ago, once Soo Hyuk sat down he would not move. Is that why? His body became weak and his stamina went down as well.

Because his body became weak and his stamina declined, the time for reading shortened little by little. Soo Hyuk was shocked when he found that when his stamina decreased, the time for him to be able to read a book also shortened, so he began to exercise right away.

Although, he had thoughts of reading while exercising, he restrained himself. He thought that if he exercised, the time he would get to read would increase.

As soon as the TV came on, a pretty boy with handsomely good looks, which many women would be bewitched by, appeared.

-You guys thought with your strength, you could seal in me, the Prince of Darkness. Hahahahaha!

The man's identity was the Prince of Darkness. And in front of him were a magician, a warrior, a priest, etc., people with different occupations gathered to seal in the Prince of Darkness.

"Is this a movie?"

He didn't know the exact story, but if it was about the Prince of Darkness and humans it must be a movie.

-Wow, team leader Yang, is this really what you call a play video?

However, Soo Hyuk soon realized it was not a movie.

-Yes! Isn't it amazing?

-To think we'd hit a gold mine! Though I do approve. The graphics are extremely exceptional. Out of all of the games I've seen, the graphics are remarkable.

-It's not only the graphics that's outstanding! Honestly, we are more confident in the story than the graphics. The story!

-Oh, then we will be surprised by the graphics and then surprised again with the story?

-No! You will be surprised once by the graphics, then fall straight~ into the story. There's no time to be surprised!

The thing he thought was a movie wasn't a movie, but a game.

"Wow, there must be lots of development."

Soo Hyuk, as expected, has played a virtual reality game. He's played FPS and RPG. However, they were not like what just came on, games with extraordinary graphics. Anyhow, the games must've advanced during the time Soo Hyuk quit gaming.

-When was the hardest time for you?

This is what the reporter asked.

-The hardest time…

And the following answer made Soo Hyuk stop on the running machine.

-No matter how I think about it, it was when I made the library.

"Library?"

What do you mean library? Soo Hyuk caught his breath as he focused on the interview.

-A library?

-Yes, a library!

-I'm confused! I thought you would say, magic implementation into the story or when you have to fix a bug. Why was creating a library the hardest for you? Isn't it something you could just implement?

Team leader Yang laughed as he replied to the reporter's question.

-Haha, you're correct. The building itself, you can just implement. The problem is the books that would fill the library.

"…!"

And as soon as Soo Hyuk heard team leader Yang's response during the interview, his eyes grew wide.

"Hoo….hoo…."

Soo Hyuk breathed coarsely as he pressed the stop button. The speed on the running machine slowly began decreasing, then stopped completely.

Only then was Soo Hyuk able to come down from the running machine. He caught his breath as he headed down to the first floor to take a shower and began washing off his sweat.

'Pangaea….'

While washing off the sweat, Soo Hyuk recollected on the game he saw while exercising, 'Pangaea'.

'They said there's an enormous amount of books.'

Implementing the books in the library was the hardest in Pangaea. After taking a shower, Soo Hyuk walked straight towards the computer. And then began researching information on Pangaea.

'December 31….'

Soo Hyuk went onto the official homepage and saw the open date. The open date was December 31.

'There's a little over two months left.'

Today's October 15, I have to wait two months and fifteen days from now on. After Soo Hyuk checked the open date, he looked for other information. Of course, the only information on the homepage was specifications on the capsule needed for play.

'…. The specifications are no joke?'

The specs on the capsule needed in order to play Pangaea surprised Soo Hyuk. The capsules he had at the moment made it impossible for him to play.

'Well, it has been five years.'

They were capsules he attained five years ago. To spin them in the latest games was irrational and obvious.

'I can't save my allowance.'

In order to play Pangaea, he needed a new capsule. Therefore, he couldn't save his allowance. Even if he saved his allowance, it wasn't an amount of money he could purchase it for and above all, if he saved his allowance, he wouldn't be able to purchase books.

The reason he wanted to play Pangaea wasn't because he wanted to hunt or because he wanted to experience the world of fantasy personally.

The library, the reason why Soo Hyuk was showing interest in Pangaea was because of the books inside the library. But in order to read those books, he couldn't purchase any books? It was a contradiction.

'Should I talk to them about it?'

Soo Hyuk thought of his parents. Currently, there was only one way that Soo Hyuk would be able to attain a capsule. It was his parents.

'Yes, I should talk to them.'

Soo Hyuk stood up in front of the computer as he made his decision. He checked the open time and capsule specifications, as well as everything that was on the official homepage. There was nothing else to find. Soo Hyuk went up to the second floor in order to read a book.

"The installation is complete. How you use it…"

"I know how to use it."

Soo Hyuk replied, as he cut off the capsule installation engineer.

"Oh, okay! Then I hope you have a good time. If something you don't understand comes up, please refer to the guidebook or call the center and we will resolve it right away!"

"Okay, good bye."

"Yes, thank you!"

Soo Hyuk returned straight to his room after he hung up with the capsule installation engineer. And with a pleased look on his face, looked at the capsule sitting in the middle of the room. Ultimately, he told his parents and was able to purchase the latest capsule.

'I didn't know they would like it.'

Soo Hyuk was even ready to get in trouble. But contrary to what Soo Hyuk thought, Soo Hyuk's parents were very much delighted when he asked them to buy him a capsule. 'You're finally playing games!' Soo Hyuk was unable to forget the delight in his father's face as he said this.

After looking at the capsule, Soo Hyuk came out of his room. He went up to the second floor and took out a book from the fourth bookcase, within all of the 'Science' relevant books.

'Forward 5 days.'

After he found out about Pangaea, much time had passed. With the capsule installed, all of the preparations in order to play Pangaea were completed. Now all he had to do was wait for it to open. There were only five days left until the 31st, if he waited five days, he would be able to play Pangaea.

'What kind of books are going to be there.'

Soo Hyuk opened his book as he thought about Pangaea's library. Soo Hyuk looked forward to what types of books would be in the library.

Time passed quickly, and it became Pangaea's open date of December 31st. Soo Hyuk checked the time.

'10 minutes from now.'

The time was currently 11:50. The situation was open time at 12, and 10 minutes left until then. If 10 minutes passes from now, he'll be able to access 'Pangaea'.

'I can't understand why the homepage is opening later….'

While waiting 10 minutes, Soo Hyuk thought to himself. Normally, the homepage is opened before a game opens. Information is opened through the homepage to lead the users' interests. It is normally like this.

But is Pangaea not an ordinary game? They did not open the homepage. To be exact, there was a homepage, but the only thing on there was the open time and capsule specifications.

Of course, the homepage was not in this state permanently. One hour after Pangaea would open, on the homepage would be a story and such, with various kinds of information that would come up. It was definite because there was an official announcement from the group 'Myung Kyung,' whom created Pangaea.

'Do I have to check, after I come out one hour later?'

After he finished worrying, Soo Hyuk shook his head. First, it wasn't like he wasn't going to hunt at all. He was going to, out of curiosity. Shouldn't he enjoy the game? Therefore, he would hunt in order to see how much of his curiosity would be resolved; he had no thoughts of genuinely hunting. Soo Hyuk's goal was the library. There was no reason for him to check the various kinds of information on the homepage.

While in that thought, the alarm rang. Soo Hyuk hurriedly turned the alarm off, stood up in front of the computer and went inside the capsule.

Inside the capsule, Soo Hyuk implemented 'Pangaea,' which he downloaded prior. After he entered his i.d. and password, Soo Hyuk couldn't help but be amazed when he logged in.

Plains, once he logged in, the darkness filled peripheral room changed into plains. Although he saw it in a video, he was shocked when he saw it in person. It was not only this.

'Wow, you could feel the air.'

He was able to feel the cool breeze.

'Real technology has advanced a lot.'

The virtual reality games that came out a couple years prior couldn't compare.

It was at this moment.

They went over to the reading rooms, and sat down. 'Finally', Dante thought. 'I finally get to become a summoner! I just need to learn all about it in this book…'

With three giant books in front of him, Micheal was indecisive. 'Where do I start?' Eventually, he just picked the book on pathways and started skimming through.

With a flip to the table of contents, his gaze was drawn to "List of Pathways and Steps. (Known in the Kingdom of Lunalla)" 'Known in the Kingdom of Lunalla? So this implies that there's more pathways than even this kingdom knows!'

Flipping to the page, a table soon greeted Micheal. Neat and orderly, a simple table with many sections that start at Step 1, and into higher steps. Although this was a simple table, its contents filled Micheal with reverence. 'Every Step…. Clearly organized and defined.' Looking through the steps, Micheals expression kept changing between fear, awe, and worship. "Step 3 Polymath" Looking at another section, "Step 5 - Four Leaf Sorcerer." 'Just these lower level steps have such dominating names… how do you become them!'

Flipping to the page where they are elaborated on, there was a sentence at the top. "Due to dangers associated with high level steps, the methods to rise above Step 2 are not public information." 'This… the dangers!? What kind of dangers could there be?' The sentence had a page number attached to it which lead to the middle of the general information section. It read, "Death, explosions, going insane, turning into a monster, natural disasters, and more. These are various examples of what can happen to those who experience complications in advancing through the steps. The higher the step, the more chances of problems occuring, and can lead to tragedies. The most famous example is the Demon Lord. Experiencing problems when he tried to ascend, the monstrous tyrant who killed millions appeared."

'These dangers… if going up the steps can cause this… is it worth it? I thought I would postpone my new goal in life until I know more, but I was leaning towards becoming powerful through the steps. Who wouldn't want to have these amazing powers! But now…. I don't know what to do. Lets just keep reading more steps, those were interesting.'

"Step 7 Voidwalker" "Step 8 Walking Disaster." As Micheal kept looking downwards, his attention was soon brought to the grand, shining silver letters near the bottom.

"G-g-god!?" Micheal couldn't help but exclaim out loud! 'You can become a god through this?! T-t-this… this is' 

"Dude, what the fuck" Dante said due to his reading being rudely interrupted due to the human next to him being unable to control himself. Micheal looked at Dante and simply uttered, "Sorry". He was in the wrong after all. 'Alright, I don't think I can handle the mental shock I would have from reading the names of the God steps right now… but I'm still curious! One step below god, Step 10. Let's read!'

'These names…' Micheal stared at those names before deciding not to even try to understand them, and just read the rest of them. 'Alright. My curiosity has been sated, but what I need to memorize is general information and my own pathway! Lets see here... '

'Take the books out for a fee… I barely have any money! I can just come back tomorrow to go more in depth in this knowledge.'

Walking out from the library, Micheal debated where to go next. 'According to books, most people live in a rented out place, rather than owning their own house. Should I check the rent prices? I also need a job…'

As he walked, he remembered he was holding a paper in his hands. 'The king's notice of gathering the strong and the heroes descendants! I actually forgot to read this since I was so focused on the books!'

While walking to the gathering spot, Micheal internally went through all his recently acquired information.

You can only be on one pathway, and attempting to go to another pathway's steps will result in catastrophic results. Ascending through the pathways can also have disastrous results if they go wrong, so public knowledge of how to ascend stops at step 2.

The Great churches are all massive powers spreading across nations, each worshipping a god.
