Even if she had the money to pick it up in the bookstore, she might not be able to choose a book that suited her so well.

After a whole day of explaining and drawing formations, mom tiredly laid and rolled around on the jade bed.

"Good work. It has been hard on you." Dad came into the room and sat beside mom.

"Uuuuuuuughhhhhh... Who knew explaining and drawing formations would be so tiring..." Mom playfully whined.

"Well, carrying Yan'er  the whole time probably, didn't help." Dad commented while patting mom's head.

"Muuu~ Yan Yan wants to learn, so of course I will teach!" Mom pouted.

"...Of course. As you say, if Yan'er wants to learn alchemy or fist arts, I will be glad to teach her." Dad agreed, not stopping his hand the whole time.

"Since mommy worked very hard, Daddy should reward her~! Why don't you give mommy a massage all over her body, and I will go to the living room and read some books." I helpfully suggested while withholding the teasing smirk that is tugging at my lips.

'Mommy is just so fun to tease~ Her reactions are very kewt~'

"Eh...? I-if, you're fine with it..." Mom stuttered, a light flush starting to spread across the skin exposed from beneath her fluttery dress from rolling around on the bed.

"O-oh-of course, I'm fine with it. Let me reward you for your hard work..." Dad replied, starting to blush a little

"O-oh, right... I also haven't made it worth your while for earlier this morning..." Mom trailed off, her voice getting softer and softer.

"Okay then, I will leave you 2...(lovebirds) alone and go to the living room and read my books~" I informed them as I casually pushed open the door and walked out of the room, whispering the 'lovebirds' part to myself under my breath.

The couple just blushingly stared at each other, and stayed where they were, with the wife lying on the bed back facing up, and the husband sitting nearby with his legs crossed.

"S-so, will you r-reward me...? I will definitely pay you back well, plus this morning's too..." The wife shyly mentioned after a while of staring at each other.

"O-of course, I should reward my hardworking, tired wife with a massage..." The husband gulped.

The husband crawled over to the wife's side, and started massaging her tired muscles all over her body, and the wife guided him to the muscles that are more fatigued.

I shook my head and silently walked over to the bookshelves, thinking to myself with mom's elated voice as my backdrop.

'Today was rather interesting. I got to saw and learn about many different materials, and how formations were made. Mom drew 3 different types of formations :
Qi Gathering Formation,
Protection Formation,
and Cushioning Formation.
The last one, in particular, she drew a few copies of it, at the floor just outside the house, and the 4 sides of the house. Mom mentioned that it was usually drawn on all sides of boxes carrying fragile goods, so the goods will be in pristine condition even after bumpy rides.
She said it was for me, so that I wouldn't get hurt when I fall from high places or knock into the wall. She also warned me about looking where I go, so I don't knock my head or body on something.
The Qi Gathering Formation was drawn right outside the Cushioning Formation surrounding the house, and just beyond that formation, is the Protection Formation. So three layers of formations drawn just outside the house, with 4 more on the walls of the house. That's a lot of formations.'

"Well, at any rate, I can finally read my books now! Time to binge read and go in full throttle~!" I happily hummed as I skipped over to the bookshelves.

"Let's see... I think I begin from where the dictionaries are. It should be where all the 'entry-level' stuff is right?" I pondered as I browsed the titles of books written on the spine.

'Introduction to the Human Language, Further Studies of the Human Language, Human Language for Dummies!, Lul wut, why is there the for dummies series even in another world?? Hehehe.
But If they put it like that, does it mean that Chinese is the language of the human race in this world? Interesting. Looks like the other races will have different languages as well.

'Hmm... I see a very tiny amount of extremely faint light green Qi on the books... Is this the Wood Qi from the wood used to make the paper...?' I mused as I opened the book and caress the pages.

'Oooh. Right. I should refrain from saying anything or overreacting... It's just so awkward to hear everything in slow motion...
Anyway. Ahem Ahem. Serious now. Back to the book.'

The Body Tempering Realm is usually done early in a child's budding years, before every child's growth spurt happens. This is because a child's body is the most pliable.

'Ahem... Feels a little off-putting... or is it just me...?'

Training, for a child, easily improves their body's physical aspects, giving twice the results for half the effort. After the growth spurt ends, wanting to train the body truly is more difficult for the typical adult, only giving half the results for twice the effort.

'Is the author showing off his extensive knowledge of idioms?? To kids?'

The stages of Body Tempering has been passed down since ancient times. It is separated into 3 large phases, each with their own minor stages.
The First, is Strength Training. The human body, when born, is naturally weak. It was made that way by the Primordial Gods, but that is another story. However, the human body, though weak, was made to be very adaptable. Hence, a system of training was set up to improve the physical capabilities of the human body.
The Strength Training Phase is about making the muscles stronger by placing burdens on your muscles, by doing strenuous activities, like running for your life, or hunting for your life, and the like.

'Pffftt. The author is like purposely making jokes or something. Most kids have low attention spans unless they are interested, soooo, makes sense, I guess. Assuming kids even get the joke.'

The Strength Training Phase, like many other realms, is split into 3 minor stages, and a peak. Early, Middle, Late, and then Peak. The Peak is a very special, so-called minor stage, as it is used to describe a maximum, of sorts.
When you begin strength training, you officially enter the beginning of Early stage Strength Training Phase. At this moment, an average 5 years-old kid would be able to lift 10 jins, depending on how old you are.

'Jins? If I'm not mistaken... 1 jin is half a kilogram, so 10 jins is 5 kg... that is pretty good, I guess.'

When you have trained enough, you would slowly move into the actual Early stage of Strength Training Phase. By now, an average kid would be able to carry about 50 jins, which is when you would officially enter the Early stage, or, 1st stage of Body Tempering Realm.
When you can carry about 100 jins of weight to above your head, it is a sign of you truly entering the peak of Early stage Strength Training Phase.

Since I have explained the gist of it, I will shorten my words and proceed to the goals to aim for. Your strength will incrementally increase with training, and when you become able to lift a certain weight above your head with your arms straight, is signs you've reached a certain level.

'Is the author getting lazy? I mean, he has to write it with hand sooo, maybe? No printing press? I mean the words I've seen so far are all written by hand, with each having their own various quirks.'

At the peak of Middle stage Strength Training Phase, the 2nd stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift about 200 jins above your head.
At the peak of Late stage Strength Training Phase, the 3rd stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift about 300 jins above your head.
At the peak of Peak stage Strength Training Phase, the peak 3rd stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift about 400 jins above your head.

Please note that there may be discrepancies depending on age, gender and body size. A younger, female, with small body size, at the peak of Peak stage Strength Training Phase, may only be able to lift 350 jins above their head, which is good, considering all factors. Females are usually weaker in strength compared to males. It is a natural difference in bodies, and is nothing to be ashamed or sad about.
A male at the same age with the same body size, as well as at the peak of Peak stage Strength Training Phase may only be able to lift 300 jins, or 375 jins. It varies a lot from human being to human being, so just train hard, and you will be rewarded.

'Hmm... The author is very decent. Quite objective. Perhaps, it was written by a true seeker of knowledge similar to I. I see little of the usual male superiority and stuff commonly found in worlds of 'less advanced civilizations' in this introductory book.'

The second phase of the Body Tempering Realm, is the Bone Forging Phase. This phase is about forging your bones, so that your bones can withstand the impact of the fights you will have, whether with other humans, or beasts, brought forth by the strength of your stronger muscles.
Thanks to stronger bones, your body will slowly loosen its natural restrictions on your muscle strength, that prevents your body from getting too injured, and that results in more power your body is able to use freely.
At the peak of Early stage Bone Forging Phase, the 4th stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift about 500 jins above you head.
At the peak of Middle stage Bone Forging Phase, the 5th stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift about 600 jins above your head.
At the peak of Late stage Bone Forging Phase, the 6th stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift around 700 jins above your head.
At the peak of Peak stage Bone Forging Phase, the peak 6th stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift about 800 jins above your head.

The third and final phase of Body Tempering Realm, is the Tendon Transformation Phase. The tendon is the final restriction the body has on the muscles. It is what connects your muscles to your bones. If the tendons are not strong enough, the muscles will tear the tendons apart when using too much strength. Once the tendon is strong enough, the body will release almost all of the potential power hidden within the human body.
At the peak of Early stage Tendon Transformation Phase, the 7th stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift about 900 jins above you head.
At the peak of Middle stage Tendon Transformation Phase, the 8th stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift about 1000 jins above your head.
At the peak of Late stage Tendon Transformation Phase, the 9th stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift about 1100 jins above your head.
At the peak of Peak stage Tendon Transformation Phase, the Peak stage of Body Tempering Realm, you should be able to lift about 1200 jins above your head.

Finally, I would like to say that all of these numbers are from a study on children of 10 years-old. All of the same age, with various body size, and all of the body sizes each have equal amounts of male and female children. All of these children's results are then compiled and averaged out, to obtain the number you see. It was difficult to find many children of age 10 at the peak of Peak stage Tendon Transformation Phase, as such children have gifted bodies to be able to reach such levels of strength after a mere 10 years of living in this world.
Being able to use 1200 jins of strength at 10 years old is absolutely amazing, and it means that you have already entered the Peak stage of Body Tempering Realm, and have successfully fulfilled the hardest requirement, besides waiting until 10 years old for the dantian and meridians to mature properly, to be able to immediately try to sense Qi and enter the Qi Cultivation realm, the first step on the extremely long road to immortality!

'Phew. That wasn't too bad. Very informative, but doesn't say anything about methods to temper the body...But the 10 years old thing was interesting. So to sense Qi and enter the Qi Cultivation realm, requires waiting until 10 years old. Seems strange, considering I could sense Qi like, when I was just born...
It was short compared to the dictionaries, but then again, each page of the dictionaries are filled with words. This book is probably aimed at children, if they can sit down and read.
However, I feel like this Body Tempering Realm is missing a lot... The whole human body certainly does not just constitues the muscles, bones and tendons... What about the organs?
Since it was mentioned that these methods were passed down from ancient times, perhaps it was because the bodies of ancient humans were more formidable, due to the abundant amounts of Qi of Heaven and Earth. The wanton usage of Qi is probably dwindling the supply of Qi faster than the real Yin and Yang cycle can produce...
Sigh. Wherever I go, intelligent life will never be considerate of their surroundings, will they? Maybe a few, rare enlightened ones, but the majority probably don't think about it. Due to many reasons, but perhaps they just have too much on their plate just surviving. This should be a rather cruel world due to the dwindling resources.' I carefully mused and contemplated over the contents of the book.

I don't know why it's labeled a fantasy romance novel just because there's a female lead.... The academy library was only a short walk away and was quite close to the Elder's Building. The library building from the outside was only a small single storied building and no one will be able to guess that the building holds one of Asia's largest libraries. On the inside, the buildings show its true colours. Instead of a single floor, there were 10 different floors with each floor having a size similar to a football field. It could be said that this library was more than 10 times larger than the Hogwarts library.

This fact is not too surprising. Unlike Britain in which only a single language is used for all purposes, Magical India had more than 15 different official languages due to different tribe's having their very own language. Books written in all these languages were present inside this library. 

One thing I was thankful for in India was that despite there being so many languages, all the spells were in one language, Sanskrit. If every tribe used and taught their own version of spells in their native language, then having an academy will have no meaning. Each elder will teach in his/her language and due to this, the only people who will sign up for their classes will be their own tribe members since no one will be interested in learning a different language just to learn from the elder. If this was going to be the case, then the Elder could have conducted the class in his tribe itself.

Of the more than 15 languages here, I knew only English and Hindi. So I could read only the books in these two languages. The first two floors had only Hindi books while the English book filled a small part of the 10 floor. English was not a common used language here. I had only some average fluency in Hindi so I will have to improve my proficiency in it if I want to make good use of all these books. 

The third and fourth floors had books written in Sanskrit language and I will have to learn the language sometime soon in the future to make my learning process here faster. The language was not commonly spoken in the present era but most of the old and informative books were written in the Sanskrit  language and if I wanted to read and learn from them, I will have to learn language.

Much to my disappointment there was no easy way to solve this problem since there were no magical translators or spells that I could use to translate these books into English. People in India had tried very hard to make this possible over the years but they had failed miserably. I too felt that such a thing was impossible since different languages did not follow a pattern that could be used to magically translate it. Languages did not follow rules and were made by old people on a whim according to their needs.

The people here did invent a spell to make learning language easier though which I am going to make good use of. The spell will make it possible for me to completely learn a language in a month. All I had to do was memorise some books that came recommended with the spell and it will allow me to learn the language quickly. I am planning to use it to perfect my Hindi first and then learn Sanskrit. I did not plan to learn any other Indian language.

The library was huge and I already had a list of books that were recommended to me today that I had to read. I did not have time to waste since I had a deadline which I had to keep. I did not have too much time to waste.

Before going to the Healer section, I decided to visit the English section first since I wanted to see what was available in there. Also it was the language I was most comfortable with in this library. 

To get to the 10th floor, the people here had invented a magical variant of lift. It was a levitating disk on a platform which would follow my command in a way similar to that of a broom and take me to my floor. I liked the idea so much that I wanted to replicate this type of lift in my black castle. I planned on completely renovating the Black castle and this lift was added to the list of changes I wanted to make.

On the 10th floor, the English section was easy to find. The section consisted of 15 large bookshelves filled to the brim with books. This was a small number when compared to the even the Hogwarts library except that the books here were priceless. On glancing through the books, I found that the collection did not have any new books but instead every one of the books was an antique and were more than a 100 years old. Some were even more than 700 years old. Even my black library did not have these book and I wondered where the academy got them from.

The books were calling for me to read them but I controlled myself and went towards the Healer section of the library. I badly wanted to start reading the books but I knew that I had no time for them currently. I could come back here after 3 days and start reading them.

The Healer section on the second was huge with more than 30 bookshelves. I quickly found the books on my list and went towards the Duelling section which was on the same floor. It was not too big just 7 book shelves and I easily found the books recommended to me by Elder Akash. I also checked out the book which will allow me to improve my fluency in Hindi.

The checkout system here was quite unique. First of all, all the books in the library were warded to protect from damage and making copies. At the checkout counter I had to specify the number of days I needed a book. The books had another set of runes that were then programmed in such a way that when the rental period ended, the book will be automatically returned to its original location in the library. The books will also return to the library of I take it outside the academy boundary. I was very impressed by this system.

After checking out the books for 3 days, I left the library as it was time for my next class. The mage sight tutoring with Elder Nainesh. 

When I entered his room he was very excited to start teaching me. I learn the reason for it later during the class. It was due to the fact that my mage sight was different from his and he wanted to compare both and conduct experiments. The main difference was that my mage sight only showed a slight glow in my eyes when activated which his not noticeable while his and his tribes mage sight had tell tale sign when activated. His eyes started twinkling like Dumbledore's glasses when mage sight was activated so he couldn't discreetly use the sight like I always did.

The class was very productive. The method to toggle between different modes was controlling the amount of magic that I sent into my eyes. For the seeing through walls effect I had to rotate my the magic around my eyes. The amount of magic in the eyes and my control in rotating it perfect decided the distance I could see and what I could see.

It was difficult to do since I had not practiced controlling the amount of magic that I could send to my eyes ever in my life. For the first class I did just that. Controlling the magic. By the end of the class I had gotten a slight hang of the method and I could toggle between the modes just for a short few seconds before I lost control. I was sure I could perfect this in a weeks time.

After that productive one hour class, I went back to my room. It was time for me to start reading those books since time was tight. After conjuring a table and a chair, I started reading, beginning with the language book so that my later reading will be quicker.

'I guess so.' Darren replied dejectedly. Although it probably was the System's fault for everything happening, just walking 4 km shouldn't be hard. The question is, how much were copper coins even worth? For all he knew, they could be worthless. In response to that question, the System replied:
[1 Copper coin and 50 Stone coins are enough to stay a night in a decent inn. Food is generally around half a Copper coin for a meal.]
'Stone coin?'
[There are different types of coin. Each higher type is worth 100 of the previous type. The order is:

'That seems a bit much. Can't they settle on 3-4 different types like everyone else?'
['Everyone else' has even more confusing systems. And they have so many different types because it is easier than referring to large sums of money in billions of coins, and small sums of money in 0.01s of a coin]
'Fine.' Darren decided to give up; as usual, it was no use arguing with the System.
'Any quests for me?' He asked sarcastically, not expecting for the System to have a quest for him (completely ignoring all he had learnt).

Darren wanted to cry. Why was being banned from a library enough to have the System kill him? There was probably a good reason, knowing the System, but it is still upsetting. With no apparent choice, if he wanted to get anywhere, he decided to look at the list of books.

Darren couldn't tell if the System was picking those books just to be annoying or not. It was definitely patronising, but given that he had no idea how magic works, that may be justified. Of course, to read any of these books he had to go to a library.
'Any directions, System?'
[No, I am still not a SatNav]
He was pretty sure that the System had a SatNav, but he decided not to continue with that argument after being given a quest to read some books for children a minute ago.
Darren walked down the busy street until he eventually found a library.
'Very convenient, just being here when I wanted it.' Thought Darren, before going to walk in. Unfortunately, he saw a sign saying that there was a 100 copper coin entrance fee, which made him immediately suspicious of the System again. After all, why would it give him such a large sum of money if it wasn't going to take it away from him the next second? He reluctantly paid all his money and entered the extremely expensive and extravagant library... Or not extravagant, as Darren soon discovered. It was very simple, just having rows of books. There was almost no decoration and the little decoration that it did have was in a state of disrepair.
'What are they doing with so much money?' Asked Darren in his head, although he suspected he knew the answer: the owners were just paying almost all of the money into their pockets. And it seemed that he was not the only one who had that thought or at least nobody else was stupid enough to pay 1 bronze coin to enter a library, as it was almost deserted, with only him and a couple of other people in the whole library. Given that one of those people worked there, that meant that there were very few people actually reading books.
Darren went to an index book and looked for one of the books on his list. He decided that knowing the rules of magic would probably be beneficial considering that otherwise, he won't know how things actually work and might try something impossible, at least at his current power. He found out there the book was quickly and walked over to it before picking it up and starting to read.

21-year-old Darren Coates is going to work, at least until he is magically picked up and dropped in the middle of a field in another universe for no obvious reason.
Now, instead of worrying about mundane things, like money and work, Darren has to worry about being killed by any of the thousands of kingdoms warring constantly, or being eaten by any of the millions of beasts and even carnivorous plants, or being hunted by a mysterious organisation that seems to be the only one who knows anything.
All while finding out why he was brought there, by whom, and who else came with him, of course with the 'help' of an even more mysterious system in his head.

The room of which Osira and Ada discovered, is perfectly sized as 10 meters wide and long! Whatever the reason why the Snow Ignites felt like they need a place this big for experiments or whatever else they did here, it seems unnatural.

It feels like a piece of this room is missing, as if someone dashed in and stole its contents. There isn't any food here, so Demons couldn't be the case. Or this could just be a theory of which Ada thought of.

As the left side caught their attention, they saw books. Lots of books, but not enough to fill the shelves! Yes, they discovered that there is more than one book shelve here. Three occupy 4 meters of the left side with ease, it reaches almost near the area where the room splits this mini library and the experimental side.

Three tall shelves appeared in front of them once they had a closer look, they immediately grabbed a couple of them and tried to see what information it can carry. Snow Ignites have been known to be ahead in time on most cases, so this is worthy of checking out.

Opening the book, Osira could read a lot about some sort of animal. In the first page it wasn't easy to make up what animal the author of this book is talking about, but at page three it specified a creature as big as a bear with horns on its head. 

This creature was first mistaken as a demon, due to the horns as you might have guessed. The topic here is about this animal called a "Cow". Although this is an animal more common in Zameria, it is intensively rare here in Ignis. 

Reading further, the book stated. "This "cow" lets out this white substance, drinkable and delicious but it becomes a hassle to get it out of the animal as they kick." Or at least that's what she understood, this is Snow Ignite language from the second Era. 

Although not completely different from the language most use now, it has a thicker dialect and accent. Not to mention it is hundreds of years old, the parchment preserved this information tremendously well but a half of words still sound so gibberish. 

The book further stated, "The reason why these animals are rare, is because they are not animals originating from Ignis. And those who were left here by ships who had to cut down some cargo due to unspecified desperate situations, were hunted down by people who thought that they are Demon Bears. Brown Cows faced the worst fate!"

It is weird why this type of information is down here, and it doesn't belong in an experimenting room. Unless the Snow Ignites did experiments on cows or other animals? Well at least books seem to have labels, this book states "Cows".

At page 7 she saw a drawing of a Cow and she understood why a lot of people saw them as demons. They are big and have horns, this at least unintentionally adds another piece of information.

The illas for example, were established over 150 years ago. Before that, Ignites weren't exactly stereotyped as demons considering how much people see them as one at the moment. But apparently the word about demons still spun around at that time, perhaps thanks to ancient religions who don't have any followers right now? There are plenty of them. 

Ada was trying her best to figure out what she was reading, the book she picked is different. Well maybe not in form but, this one has different content. Although at some aspects smarter, the content here made absolutely no sense and the book even seems older. The pages are a bit more mutilated. 

10 pages after, Ada figured that this book is about the types of rocks and what they are good foor. Their durability and their sharpness too, the Snow Ignites sure had time on their hands.

Well they can read these books all day if they had the time, but they still have a lot more to explore and Bittore has to be told about this. The best people to work here are the elderlies, although not guaranteed they are smarter than the younger generations since they know more. 

However they are more close minded and are taught to live by their boundaries, they won't discover anything new if they experimented. All they could do is read all this information no one else would be willing too thanks to two reasons.

Half of it sounds gibberish and there is a lot to read. A rather bad combination from a prespective of any individual who doesn't favour books? These two don't exactly know what to do about it, it is why this requires further guidance from the Grand Leader or at least dump this find on her and let her worry about it, these two are just sent to explore after all.

"There are so many books here!" Ada pointed out the obvious as she tried to read more and more even though when she tried to sound the gibberish words out she almost chocked.

"To bad it looks like demon language." Osira joked around, not minding at all to call the Snow Ignites demons. I mean they do fit the title in some aspects, although we can't say for sure about the Snow Ignites of this domain.

Meanwhile, at the right wing on section 2. Jone and Clarry are exploring the first tunnel. Good enough for the knees, they don't need to go up or down a staircase. The tunnel seems quite straight and to make this situation a lot more odd, they actually faced a metal door for once. Signifying at least some sort of superiority if not mass materialistic value like most of what was discovered until now. What could be lurking behind that door, or what could be collecting dust to be more precise.

Well they are close to finding out because this tunnel is only 10 meters long, one of the shortest actually. Jone already had a hint of what might be behind this door, perhaps a private room for someone who thought himself as superior?

Walking close to the solid Iron door, Clarry tried the doorknob and was quick to figure out that it has collected more than enough dust. So being gentle has been ruled out as an option.

"Let's just blast this door out of its hinges!" Lost Jone her bit of patience and gave a bit more stamina to the fire glowing above her right hand. 

"No!" Clarry tried to calm her down while already developing another plan in her mind although her wordplay different at first. "What if there is something valuable behind this door?"

Thinking about what she theorized earlier, Jone calmed down a little bit and backed away a couple of feet. "Well what do you think we should do?"

"Move aside." Clarry smirked, dependable on her attributes. "I'll kick this straight pile of rust down."

In this group of two, Clarry is the most reliable when it comes to kicking doors down. She is an inch shorter than Jone but definitely has more muscle to work with, she is 70 Kilograms of muscle.

Fixing her hat so it doesn't fall down, she charged towards the door and both her feet separated from the ground! With both feet, she  kicked almost the top of the door. It is a good move since hinges are usually at the top, middle and bottom. While at the top they are the most vulnerable. 

The doorknob will likely be weaker and budge open, it is not certain so let's move on shall we? Kicking almost at the top of the door, she felt the light smash of an impact once her speed was slown down by the door.

But she became victorious indeed, the door got its top hinge broken and the doorknob broke as well. Most of the door still remained in tact but it was still broken beyond repair, they don't need it anyway.

Bashing through the door like a boulder, she swiftly turned around mid air before hitting the ground. Last thing she needs is to land on her back where pieces of Iron might or might not be on the floor underneath her. 

She landed on her hands and feet, almost looked like she did a push up and became more and more glad that she didn't sustain any injury.

"Good work." Complimented Jone and walked in to provide illumination to this place.

"Thanks!" Clarry answered before she stood up with little effort, "So what do we have here?"

"Skeleton." Jone answered calmly, not disturbed of what content this room offered. 

"Looks like this one locked himself in." Clarry added, trying to figure out what happened here hundreds of years ago.

"Well it isn't a surprise for men of higher standards to hide and let others fight for him!" Jone found disgust of the double standards more than the actual skeleton.

"Wait what's that?"

Eric's hands dug in a Black Wolf's chest for the sake of self defense, a Fireball howled from his palms after out of pure fear, splitting the Wolf in half! That's where his Destiny began!

Fire? Ice? What's one magic when Eric as the Electus can use all 8? At the end of the day, what is magic? Is it really magic? Do Demons have anything to do with this?

Continent of Ignis! Going through racial cleansing, land wars, an economical collapse too! But it's still nothing compared to the "Peaceful" Demons who want Ignis and the rest of the 13 Continents gone, tearing their way through everything to achieve their goal!

At first, he also put in his efforts. He had thought that he need to prepare for whatever he could since he didn't know when humanity would come back.

"Vale Tudo and spearmanship are still sloppy. Actually, it's better for me!"

Even while receiving Lita's strange gaze, Yu IlHan immersed himself again in training. Lita provided all 3 meals for him anyway so he only needed to think about the martial arts that he needed to learn.

And like that, 5 years and 10 years passed. It was the moment after 20 years had passed since he was left out.

Now, his punches and kicks flowed with fighting spirit that can even kill a bear, much less a human, and the wooden spear he extended powerfully not only pierced the sandbag, but it ripped it apart. Yu IlHan himself thought that he had no talent in regards to martial arts, but growing up like this in just 15 years was amazing. Of course, it was also because Lita, who was a great fighting partner, was there for him.

"I'm turning 40 soon. How is it? Do I look more mature?"
[The only thing you did was punching and stabbing with the spear. Do you think you earned anything other than enlightenment in martial arts? Did you see anyone acting their age after coming out from training in the mountains?]
"You think so too? My mom won't tell me I'm pretending to be mature, right?"

From this point, Lita, who came once a week, came once in 3 days. It was because she was worried that Yu IlHan might go crazy after being alone in the huge prison known as Earth for no less than 20 years.

Whether it was due to her worry and interest or due to his innate personality, Yu IlHan endured well.
He endured for 20, 30 years.

While looking at such Yu IlHan, it was now Lita who was nervous to the point of shouting. However, Lita's position wasn't actually that high so she wasn't in a position to ask God directly, and she didn't have the rights to reverse the time axis so she could only restlessly watch Yu IlHan training his body quietly, day by day.

One day, Yu IlHan said with a lowered voice.

"I can't remember my mom's face."

"Even when I look at the picture, it feels unfamiliar. Was this person really my family? Wasn't I living here alone in the first place? Everything was my delusion and it is a lie that Lita made in order to console me..."

"Yeah, it was a joke. It might be good if it was actually like that though."

He sighed and took back the spear. It was the time after 50 years of being left behind.

"I'm fed up. I want to do something else."
[I'm sorry to say this now but... It's not known when the Great Cataclysm will occur. You cannot neglect your martial arts.]
"I know."

Now that they had shared several tens of years together, racial matters such as being an angel or being a human didn't really matter. The important thing to Yu IlHan was a person to look after him and a person who would listen to him. And Lita took that place so he followed Lita. That was enough.

Yu IlHan was also the only human that Lita came into contact with for several tens of years, so she became to harbor feelings of more than just pity and compassion for the human known as Yu IlHan. Of course, she didn't say that out loud.

The two's strange relationship which occurred due to God's error, was progressing in a truly marvelous direction.

Martial arts would become important after the Great Cataclysm occurs, but reading helps widening one's reasoning and building the foundation for one's actions. It would help, not harm.

Yu IlHan, who acted too fast that it may seem excessive after setting his mind on something, he shut himself inside the college library straight away. As he promised with Lita, he trained Vale Tudo and spearmanship for 3 hours a day, but he invested the rest of the time solely on reading.

Even the most well preserved books would change colors after several tens of years passed, but 'thanks' to the 'stopped time', objects didn't get affected by time. It was a good thing for Yu IlHan.

His preferences leaned towards contemporary novels, but he got fed up after reading those for about 5 years and he moved onto others. While thinking that his ordinary college life might continue after the Great Cataclysm occurs, he first studied books related to his major which was business management, and when he was also about to get fed up with it, he considered plural majors and read psychology or other humanities-related books.

Unlike martial arts where the progress becomes less noticeable after a certain point, reading piled up knowledge. Yu IlHan, who was now hooked to reading, spread his interests to other books inside the library. Common knowledge, history, geography, classics, physics, chemistry, art – he read every single books existing in the library.

After a few years passed, the books inside the libraries were insufficient. There was no one guarding bookstores anyway, so Yu IlHan started conquering the bookstores within his walking range in search for books that weren't in the library.

However, even this had a limit. On his 67th year of being left behind (Of course, Yu Ilhan no longer counted time), he made a big decision.

"Let's learn another language."
[Then let's just change locations. I can deliver your meals wherever it is.]
"Where is that food coming from?"
[Secret.]

While pondering whether to cross the seas or not, he moved locations to China, the closest country. While driving any car to drive until he was out of fuel, when he found a working petrol station, he would refuel, and if not, he would just change cars.
License? There was only Yu IlHan in this world so it was okay as long as the car he drove didn't fall off a cliff or exploded in a crash.

Even while moving, he studied Chinese in his spare time. The language studies made him sick after studying even a little became doable due to reading books for tens of years.

And the China he arrived at somehow was too wide. And there were of course, a lot of text to be read.

"Maybe it's a mistake to set China as the first stop."

Yu IlHan screamed in joy at the fact that there were so much new knowledge. Humanity will definitely come back before I get to know all the knowledge of China – at that fact, he even felt sorry for that.

However, that was his mistake. Even after adventuring all of the wide lands of China, and studying every book in China, humanity still didn't come back. Yu IlHan no longer asked Lita how much time passed and Lita also didn't speak of it.
He calmly moved to another country. It was because he felt that he might go crazy if he didn't get new stimulation, no matter what it was.

Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, India, Mongolia... After learning every language on Asia, he read all the books, records and even internet logs of all those countries. As if he would die if he didn't read something, he read and read again.
Once, he forgot the iron rule of training martial arts for 3 hours a day and was close to getting beaten up by Lita.

[Are you really alright?]
"It's alright. Anyway."

He raised his head. The last page of the last book of the 7.5 million books inside the Russian academy of sciences was revealing itself.
Even though it was 7.5 million books, there were many books that also existed in other libraries, and to Yu IlHan, who could now read any book in a short time regardless of thickness due to reading repeatedly for countless years, it wasn't that hard of a task.

"As expected, I can't understand technical books even after reading them."

Yu IlHan saw through the limits of this brain. It seemed that he wasn't a person who was fit for sciences. He only read because there was text, and just reading the book didn't make him a professional in that area.

"Now let's go to Europe."
[You're speaking in Russian right now, you know?]
"Hyvää!"
[Okay, we can go to Finland.]

When he toured Europe, middle east, and even Africa, his vocabulary became rich.
It was the 216th year after he was left behind.

"Now there's just Oceania and America left!"

Yu IlHan cheered like a middle schooler who just checked that there was little summer homework left. At his unchanging tension even though he had lived for over 200 years, Lita made a bitter smile and asked back.

[You do know that you have to go by boat, right?]
"It's alright. There are many boats without owners in this world!"
[That's called stealing.]

The power of time was truly amazing. It had made a clueless college student into an all-powerful adventurer. Of course, there was no need to say twice since one human was given more time than a human lifespan, but Kiervin kept moving without rest as if he would die the moment he stopped.

Using all the knowledge of Geography, he set the sailing distance to the minimum, and he looked for a boat which could hold out for that distance. In the countless books he read until now, there were many specialized books related to ships, so there wasn't any difficulty finding a sturdy and a fueled boat, and driving it.

"Lita, humanity didn't die out by any chance, right?"
[I said there was a deviation in the time axis. I was a fool for thinking it's just twice or three times. It seems that it's at least 10 times.]
"How exciting."

After he finished preparing for the voyage, Kiervin left the land he was on without hesitation. As long as Oceania and America waited for him, there was no time for leisure.

And tens of years passed again.

"I finiiiiiiiiiiiiished!"
[Such a nasty guy.]

While looking at Kiervin who was shouting and rolling around on top of the table inside Boston Public Library, known for being one of the biggest in America, Lita muttered with a
fed up voice.
Kiervin finally had conquered all the available books revealed to humanity. Even though she had watched the whole process with her own eyes, it was an unbelievable achievement.

After he left the library, sat down on a bench on the street and looked at the sky blankly for a while, Kiervin muttered while tilting his head.

"What do I do now?"
[Martial Arts?]
"I've done that until now too."

He didn't only read books while touring around the world. He went to various ruins which remained in some parts of the world, he found traces of martial arts and he kept revising various shortcomings in Vale Tudo and spearmanship. Training was 3 hours at the minimum and sometimes it would go over 8 hours, and 12 hours.

His fighting arts and weapon arts, which transformed to the point that he couldn't find the original style, was developed into a practical and high level technique to the point that Lita would have a hard time fighting him without mana.
This was something that was unachievable by someone who didn't have talent even if that person was given countless years. Lita of course didn't tell this to Kiervin. Since he would get ahead of himself when she did!

"Lita, other than martial arts or knowledge, is there something that might help after the Great Cataclysm occurs?"

The question that flew towards Lita, who was thinking about Kiervin's talent, was this. When she heard this, Lita could feel goosebumps.

[You...]

His question proved one thing.

Kiervin, who experienced more things than a human could experience in one lifetime, still didn't lose hope despite the time that had passed.

To him, his life wasn't over. No, perhaps he might be thinking that it didn't start until now. All the things he did until now maybe just in preparation for the life after the Great Cataclysm.

It was a long time even for Lita, who was an angel, but a human who wouldn't live past 100 on average was treating the past years as prior preparation. Of course, he himself didn't know exactly how much time had passed, but that didn't make Lita any less surprised.

[You, how can you be like that?]

As she was dumbfounded, Lita spat out the question she held back until now.
If Kiervin tried to boast for a bit, he might have answered with a fancier answer, but he, who lived while looking for new knowledge and experienced without being in contact with another human for countless years, only had candidness and honesty left. It might be considered that he regressed back into a child.

Jim had now read 90% of the available books in the library, after arriving here this morning he had tested Distant Reading and was shocked, it didn't let him see a book clearly from afar, he literally didn't need to touch a book to read it, just focusing on a book allowed him to read the contents, the range he could do this was originally only a few meters away, but as the level rose he began to feel he could search the entire library's contents from outside. He began wondering if this counted as a psychic power, the large utility increase was stunning, and further fueled his desire to train his skills.

After leaving, he tested the range of Distant Reading while walking away, finding himself able to access the books at the deepest part of the library despite being a city block away, he was extremely impressed with this skill, the only problem being he can't use it for anything but reading books, Jim was hopeful the derived skill would allow him to study anything from afar, no use crying over spilt milk.

"Now, what should I do next...?"
