It's morning and since I had nothing to do, I decided to start writing poems again. Doing calligraphy was easy because Lu Ming taught me until I was professional. Our calligraphy looked alike though. Like really alike. 

As for the art that I painted, I gave it to Hao'er and told her to hang it up in the room. My room was small, but I didn't quite mind. I loved that it was quiet and peaceful here. There wasn't a lot of commotion going on. This life was different from the fast-paced world of China.

And perhaps because of the plants I was growing, the room became even smaller. The plants I grew were herbs. The herbs were helpful in many ways. They give off a fresh smell like fresh air. Whenever you inhale the scent it would help clear your mind. It also helps clear poisons that may be in the room. And if I'm ever desperate for a cure, I can just grab some from my room immediately.

These are just precautions to keep me safe. I want to go back badly, so I have no choice but to be overly cautious. I need to last a year here and I can go back. 

Outside the Winter Court, Prince Wu was standing looking at the court.

"It's empty."

"Your highness, when Concubine Xiu just came, Madame had given her the same amount of guards and maids she had given to the other concubines, but she rejected it. She said her court is small and can't fit so many people in there. She also said that she likes the peace of the court, so the Madame should take back her people."

"Are you dumb?"

"Your highness, I'm not finished yet. Concubine Xiu also said that if Madame doesn't trust her and thinks she will harm you, the Madame is more than obligated to have spies. So the Madame sent spies, but after a month, all they reported was that everyday she did things that maids did or, that she did things that the normal woman didn't do."

"The only suspicious thing is that she cultivates. The spies were unable to tell what her rank was, but she seemed experienced is all. The Madame had questioned her about this, but she said..."

"What?"

"If one day she got framed, she can run away."

This lady is straightforward is she not. After a while, a piece of paper came flying out the gate.

"Hao'er, you don't need to chase it, I'm going to throw it away anyways."

"But Sis Ling! It was such a good poem! Why are you throwing away such good poems? Nobody will ever get a chance to admire them again."

"Hao'er, I can write as many poems as you want. Just ask me and I will. These are not any important poems. Besides, there are so many on my desk already that there is no need to chase one that ran away."

"Alright." Hao'er was sad about that poem, but her lady was right, there were hundreds on her desk already.

The piece of paper that flew was caught by Prince Wu who was about to throw it away, but didn't after hearing what the maid said. He looked at the piece of paper and saw the poem,

It was such an inspiration poem, quite different from all the beauty poems. A poem fit for a uplifting someone's mood. He thought to himself, if she has many more good poems in there and plans on throwing them away, he should keep it, he is her husband whatever they own is his.

With that thought in mind he entered the gates. There was no one to announce that he had entered the building because there were only 2 people living in the court. The master and her servant. Upon entering the entrance he already what he wanted.

He had only wanted the poems that were unwanted, but he saw the beauty, too. It was hard to stay away from her. He knew he should be on his guards instead of thinking of how to make her his, but she looked vulnerable in that moment for some reason.

"Your Highness! This servant apologizes, the lady had just fell asleep."

"In the morning?"

"Last night, Mistress Xiu couldn't sleep, so mistress stayed up doing poetry and art."

"Hao'er, who's here?"

"Mistress Xiu, the prince is here!"

Hearing that, Zhao Ling immediately came out of her doze. She thought the person causing commotion was Zixie, but it was the prince. In her thoughts, 'Why is he here?'

"Your Highness, is there something this concubine can do for you?"

"Your poems..."

"Oh. Did you want them? I'm not sure which one you want, so you can have Shao pick one."

"All."

"How are you going to carry them all?"

Prince Wu waved his hand and all the paper full of writing disappeared from her desk.

I want to protect chastity. Not only that, I want nothing to do with the prince. I'm still trying to form a plan to get the second lead's attention. The more I have this prince's attention, the less planning time I have. 

"Your Highness, now that you have what you want, I'm sure you want to leave now. After all, you're a busy man."

"All the others send me gifts everyday trying to get my attention, but you haven't tried one bit. I wonder why?"

"Eh?"

"Your Highness, even if I did, you would have told Shao to just throw it away. It would then hurt my feelings and I would feel like I just wasted my energy on something stupid."

"Stupid?"

"I don't mean it in a bad way. I am saying I would feel stupid for trying to get your attention when you don't love me at all. Not only that, you are about to have a wife soon, so I'd rather not be a thorn."

Prince Wu, then teleport to his room with Shao by his side.

"She doesn't understand me what I was trying to get at."

Inside his wardrobe, the suits that he previously wore to work could no longer be worn. Ren Baqian took some body measurements and realized he had become heavier by at least 6 kilograms. He used to weigh 71 kilograms. Now, he weighed approximately 77 kilograms.
He ate meat for almost every meal in that world. It was no wonder that he became heavier.
On Earth, his physique was just right, not too shabby. However, in Dayao, he was frail and weak like a chicken—according to Caretaker Shi.
He put on a random shirt, went out to have his breakfast, and went to buy a blue-colored suit. He spent a few thousand yuan on the new set of clothing. It wasn't considered too expensive, and it fit him very well.
 Following which, he gave Chen Qing a call and asked about the time of the engagement feast.
When he knew it was set at night, he went to the supermarket and bought a heap of White Rabbit Creamy Candies and various types of chocolates. He spent roughly 2000 yuan on 8 kilograms of White Rabbit Creamy Candies and the chocolates.
After stuffing these things into the boot of his car, Ren Baqian went to buy a copy of Three Hundred Tang Poems and Three Hundred Song Poems.

 There were photos of them sleeping, playing, rolling about, and hugging his legs. He uploaded a total of thirty photos.
He had uploaded a few photos of sceneries that he deemed not bad as well.
He did not care whether or not would people take note of the photos he uploaded onto Weibo. To him, these photos were records of his life in the strange world.
After uploading the photos onto Weibo, Ren Baqian took out Three Hundred Tang Poems and began to recite the poems silently. If he wanted to keep those people's ego in check, he had to know these poems by heart.
A month's time was neither too long nor too short. One day in that world was equivalent to three days on Earth. He got to return to Earth from that world roughly seven times a month. As such, the time he had in the two worlds added up to be approximately half a month.
 However, he was still short on time. He had to work hard to keep those people's ego in check.
Wait, did he remember something wrongly? A streak of light flashed across Ren Baqian's mind. He realized something was amiss.
First, there was still one month before the empress's birthday. Caretaker Shi said it was approximately one month to the empress's birthday. He did not say it was exactly one month's time.
Second, a feudal society wasn't the same as a modern society. The means of transport in that world weren't developed. Ordinary people usually did not travel far away from their homes. Every time they had to travel far, they would take up ten days to half a month to do so. Furthermore, this was travelling within the country. It was normal that they would arrive ten days to half a month earlier.

Jiang Nan's face was filled with bliss. She pursed her lips and smiled, "Thank you, but it has indeed been very long since I last saw you."
"I'm quite busy recently, you should know it," Ren Baqian chuckled and waved his hand.
"Busy with eating? You have fattened up so much."
 Ren Baqian burst into a laughter.
After exchanging greetings, Ren Baqian was led to a table next to the main table.
The two families did not arrange this engagement feast without any restraint. Only close family members and friends were invited. There were roughly four to five tables.
"Little Ren, you have come," Chen Qing's dad greeted Ren Baqian when he saw him.
"Uncle, you can just call me Baqian. Otherwise, every time I'll feel like you're scolding me," Ren Baqian said helplessly.
Hearing these words, Chen Qing's dad laughed heartily.
However, since today was the engagement feast for both families, Chen Qing's dad did not have much time to entertain Ren Baqian. He placed his main focus on familiarizing himself with Jiang Nan's family members.
Ren Baqian sat to one side sipping his tea. He was reciting the poems from Three Hundred Tang Poems in his head, reinforcing his memory.
Subsequently, Ren Baqian went into his own world, looking as though his soul had left his body. Occasionally, he would return to his senses and looked the blissful faces of Chen Qing and Jiang Nan. He felt happy for both of them too.

The second day, Ren Baqian studied the poetry book for the entire day. During the afternoon, he felt dizzy and that his mind was in a muddle. He threw the poetry book aside, went downstairs, got into his car, and went out for a spin to relax himself. 
He drove aimlessly through the city. As he turned a corner, he saw an unadorned girl carrying several things while walking forward with great effort. He sighed silently in his heart. A few months ago, he was just like her: struggling to survive in the city.
The speed of his car couldn't be considered fast. When he passed her, he turned around to look at her. She looked delicate and pretty. The next second, he found her somewhat familiar.
After thinking for a while, he still couldn't recognize who she was. When he noticed a red-colored hearing air on her ear, he suddenly recalled who she was.
 It was the counter lady with a hearing disability that he had encountered previously in the restaurant. He reckoned that she must have developed the hearing disability when she was very young, causing her not being able to speak. Even though she could hear people talking with the help of the hearing aid, she still lost part of her speaking capability. This caused her voice to be slightly awful and her words to be unclear. As such, even if she could talk, she would choose not to.


In a world where its inhabitants can destroy a city wall single-handedly, the empress has a kirin as her pet, and the imperial palace of Great Xia has a pool containing a dragon. There is also a Sword Mountain where spirit swords occasionally leave in search of a master .

Bootlicking the empress, Ren Baqian ascended to the apex of life.　　

"What kind of bet!?" – Britney was glaring at Evan.

She couldn't comprehend how a countryside bumpkin with no cultivation, a person who spent a whole day reading books for children up to six years, was having so much confidence in himself. The fact that he was able to dodge the guard's attacks ten times straight was somewhat suspicious and one might even think of it as a heavenly luck has taken place, since most of the time he didn't even look at Matt's movements.

"To see who is the unlearned one here!?" – Evan looked deadly serious, and even a hint of offence was showing on his face.

Evan was planning to make some fun of the girl, since he found her interesting. Not only she didn't behave as your average bookworm girl would, while being shy and all, she even had the heaven defying "two little sisters". The fact that she tried to apologise in the first place showed how innocent she was, and Evan didn't doubt for a second that the girl was a twenty-ish years old virgin, since alpha has already told him the information.

[A cliché situation where a cheater deals with an arrogant character is exactly what I need to set up] – meeting such an interesting person, Evan thought it would worth to befriend her.

"Ridiculous!!! Even a blind person would see that you are speaking nonsense and what can I get from such a beggar when I win the bet!?" – Britney felt even more stupefied, the person in front of her obviously was a person of lowly birth, but the confidence he radiated even when faced with people like herself and her grandfather, wasn't shining even one less bit.

"Do you like poems!?" – Evan asked with cunningness in his voice.

"What would a countryside bumpkin know, I am a poet myself!" – poems were Britney's one of the favourite subjects. She was called a genius poet of the young generation and it was something that Britney was taking pride in.

Evan didn't mention poems as a random subject since he saw her reading a half-meter thick book of poems in the morning. With Evan's knowledge from previous world and alpha on his side, he could just randomly recite any number of the most famous poems that had conquered the hearts of billions of people through out the ages.

"What a coincidence, I am a very qualified poet as well, we can compare our poems!?" – Evan grinned from one ear to another.

"Shameless, how can such an unrefined muscle head be a poet!? There are millions of losers with a lack of talent, who think they can create poems, but actually are nothing more than jokes in my sight, for I am Britney Rotherford, from the Rotherford family" – Britney didn't even consider what Evan said seriously, since she was absolutely sure that no such muscular ugly looking guy without manners and scholarly aura around him would be a poet worthy of being called such. 

"Actions are always better than words. Hmhm…" – Evan cleared his throat, He finally knew the background of the girl. The Rotherford family were the epitome of literature, in every generation the family produced more and more renowed writers and poets that would create amazing pieces of literature. Evan undrestood that he could not do it halfhearted, so asked for alpha's help. Evan changed his cheeky expression to a sensual one and with a sweat voice started to recite the poem.

"I can't say "How" and "Why"  
I love you now, and, until I die.
….
"
Evan's voice was too sweat, his expression showed how deeply in love ge was, the words were so resonating with the very soul that Britney's very monster core was shaken.

"What a beautiful poem, It's on the same level as  grandfather's poems!?" – Britney was so overtaken, that she forgot that the reciting person was still the guy that she only a moment ago called an unlearned countryside bumpkin.

Evan finished his recitation of the poem, his hands were at his chest as if trying to embrace his heart, his head was down, from time to time looking at Britney with a corner of an eye to see her reaction.

"Aahh, what…you…how can it be you…I don't believe it…you definitively cheated…I....I won't accept it!" – Britney just came back to her senses. She was completely dumbfounded, and the obvious reaction of denial followed immediately after. The performance Evan just did was amazing, but the actor's looks didn't match the style or the words, which downgraded the performance. Everyone would get an image of a performer in their head when they enjoyed the show, and very ofter when the image didn't match the reality a large portion of the pleasure would disappear. Britney understood how good the poem was, and hence couldn't match it up with Evan. 

"Come on miss, it's a pleasure to meet you too, don't worry beauty, I believe you have the means to find out if I really cheated with the poem or not, and we still haven't started the bet, hence no terms were stated yet!" – Evan replied smiling.

"I…I…can't…" – while she was searching for words to reply, Evan interjected.

"My actions proved themselves. Since the reason for the disagreement between us was to see if I am unlearned or not, the best solution to check is literature. We can challenge each other on the topic of poems, I can give you 3 days to prepare." – Evan said still smiling, if one looked carefully into his eyes, they would notice a slight mischievousness.

"I…I agree, but when you lose, you will tell me who is the author of the poem is and give me all of the other poems of the grandmaster you have!" – Britney still didn't doubt that Evan didn't have anything to do with such a touching poem but couldn't be not curious about an author who could write such a touching poem about love.

"The poem's value are beyond of your immagination, but still I do agree. Do not judge people by what their looks. Do not underestimate anyone, these are the universal sayings that anyone under skies know about but only a handful use!" – Evan was shaking his head when he said it. It looked like he was disappointed with Britney actions, while he himself behaved like a person who gained wisdom of the world.

"Stop the bullshit. It is something you should say for yourself, do not underestimate the eyes of a professional poet!" – Britney got frustrated because Evan was trying to look like a sage. She could tell with a single glance that he was at most a beginner in poetry.

When one reached a certain level of mastery in poetry, the way they speak or even move would change and they would radiate a certain grace that learned people could immediately recognise.

"Do not participate in a war in which you can't win, therefore I will stop arguing. If I win, miss Britney, you will just wear the clothes that I will prepare for you, and great me with a waist bow, as if I were your Master!" – Evan said with smile on his face.

The conditions were quite absurd for Britney. However, since she never doubted even for a second that she would definitively win, she accepted the conditions. Britney knew by name all of the grandmaster poets that lived on the devil continent for the last thousand years and she never heard any poem similar to the one Evan just recited. She was sure, that Evan found some ancient poet's creation and therefore couldn't wait to read his great works.

"If that is all you want, Deal. No going back now, mister Evan! I will be getting an ancient poetry book, what a luck! Do not say I am bulling you to take the grandmaster's book from you. You were the one who suggested it first." – For the first time Britney started to smile, it was almost like she didn't hear the words Evan said about the clothes.

"Don't worry miss Britney, this young hero never tells lies. Then I will trouble you to prepare for the contest in 3 days, and keep the conditions a secret. Since we don't want your scary grandpa to come after my life again!" – Evan was smiling, his set up worked perfectly, and everything was according to his plan.   
 

Evan's soul transmigrated to another world, but it didn't seem to be an accident as you would usually expect in transmigration. However, the prince for some reason was at the end of his life, he was poisoned using the most terrifying poison there is known on the entire continent. The prince once was the strongest person from the strongest country, but now lost all the power and only status is left.

Louie Ados

I always try to live through everyone's expectations, I was so used to people praising me for who I am, being the perfect ideal type of every guy, being the perfect ideal type for a daughter, student and even as a friend.

Room 1 is my classroom, it's filled with brainy students or talented kids who're honored for their skills, even the daughter of the US president is here. Of course I got in through my own talent and intelligence, no money was used to bribe staff. 
As I walk to my desk that's beside the window my friend Gladys waved at me.
"Hey! How was your weekend?" Gladys happily said
"Good" I said "You know me same old thing"
"Ugh! Reading poems again" she said in disgust "When are you gonna go out and have fun…,you know, like shopping or watching a movie."
"Why not try reading them? It's super good.. I can give you a poem that might attract your senses." I said as I was sitting down on my chair "There are poems for everyone."
Gladys imitated a vomiting action. 
"Oh don't be harsh on poems, try reading one it might interest you." I said. 
Bell Rang and our literature teacher came in.
He took our attendance and said "Louie Ados, You like reading poems right?" In a serious tone.
"I actually adore poems" I said while standing up "Why'd you ask Mr. Defer?" 
"Then you're the perfect person to fit for this job…, I'll be giving you an outside task" he said as he was coming toward me "Do this and I'll be giving you bonus points for the next exam…, What do you say?"
"Mr. Defer, I know nothing of this outside task. Why should i accept such a thing?" I said in a serious tone
"That's right, Let's talk about the details after class.. Got to the teacher's lounge. I'll discuss it with you there." He said as he turned around to go to the front.
While sitting down I was curious as to why he needs a person like me.
Class ended, I stood up and picked up my things and went straight to the teacher's lounge.
Mr. Defer wasn't there yet.So, I took a bit of a look around the teacher's lounge, As I was looking around a man whispered behind me near my ear "What are you looking at?" 
As I panicked I jumped, turned around,closed my eyes and quickly slapped the man's cheek.

'Slap'

In shock I later realized that I slapped someone who I absolutely have no Idea who might he be.., Shit. I opened my eyes and saw the man rubbing his cheek.
"Is that how you people treat students from outside?" He said while coming near me,
He grabbed my chin and said "Nice slap though." He said leaning in to kiss me.
I panicked and kicked him in that spot..,

'Thud'

"Ooooh" he moaned in pain

Shit. 
Later on I found myself bowing down and apologizing to him.
He was on the ground holding you know what is, shouting all kinds of curse words.
I saw my teacher behind him and quickly hit his head with a thick book.

'Bam'

"WHY'D YOU DO THAT FOR OLD MAN?!" The man said "SHE BROKE MY EGGS! THIS IS HARASSMENT!"

"His name is Mark Christopher Kyle, just call him MK" Mr. Defer said, Mr. Defer gave MK a signal meaning to introduce himself to me but instead MK shrugs Mr. Defer and out of nowhere Mr. Defer smacks the back head of MK.

'Pok'

"This is bullying im so reporting you.." MK whispered loudly enough for Mr. Defer to hear and lower enough so other people won't hear, Out of nowhere chuckled loud enough for him to hear "Names MK" he made it sound cool and all, "M'kay" I said in a teasing tone.
"Anyway"Mr. Defer interrupted "I want you to ask your mother and father to come tomorrow," he said in such a serious tone. "You can leave now, I'll tell you tomorrow what you have to do, He told me he wouldn't be able to make it just now, let's discuss about the details tomorrow" he said, Mr.Defer looked at MK "and you, you're coming with me" he said while pinching his ear and dragging him inside his office.

I left the office and headed to driveway waiting for my pick-up service,
A man suddenly gently tapped my shoulder, I turned around and he said "Miss, I will be your new pick-up service, follow me pls." He said..
As I was following him I wondered why my old service got replaced, nevertheless my mind kept thinking about what Mr. Defer's favor is.

As I arrived at my house, I entered the house, went up the stairs and did my homework. It's still on my head what the favor was and why he needs my parents to come tomorrow.
"I should probably sleep" I told myself
A soft knock was heard on my door and the door opened for a little bit it was my mother, "Eat. Downstairs?" My mom said with a japanese accent, my mother has yet to fully learn english so her english is a bit messy.
"No, Thank you." I said standing up "By the way, Mr. Defer wants you both to come to school tomorrow." I said looking at her and waiting for her reaction, she nodded and closed the door to keep me in peace, "Seems like they knew each other, anyhow I should go to bed and get some rest."

Two people from different families meet, fall in love, and ran away from their own flesh and blood from the same reason.

The words "Library" looked extremely proper. Lu Shu could not hide his excitement. He looked around secretly and stepped into the library since he did not see anyone around.
Lu Shu was thinking, could there be a guard around in an important place like the library?! After all, it contained the books of the entire palace of the King of Gods!
However, when Lu Shu walked in, nobody stopped him. There was nobody in the library.
He took a few steps behind and pushed a door near the cottage. Then, he saw a man sitting with his legs crossed on the ground with a sword in its sheath. When the man heard the door open, he opened his eyes. However, when he opened his eyes, the door was already closed. 
Lu Shu walked into the library feeling bothered. "Isn't there someone here, not everyone has gone to the Sword Hut selections. Why isn't anyone guarding the library, which is an important place?"
As he said that, he stepped into the library. As he walked, he examined the orientation of the room. When he saw the first two rows of shelves, he was stunned. It was difficult to look at these books, they were the poems of the king?!
Were the people crazy? Why did they keep such books?
Lu Shu sighed. He thought the Sword Hut was different but it was just as old-fashioned!
Old-fashioned!
He randomly grabbed a book and flipped. He was stunned almost immediately. The first poem was "Quiet Night Thought" written by Li Bai[1]! 
The poem was printed within and the author's name was handwritten!
"Don't tell me the owner of the Sword Hut wrote it," exclaimed Lu Shu.
He had always been curious. In the past, someone told him that the owner of the Sword Hut went to the palace of the King of Gods to fight with the old King of Gods for the poems of the king. At that moment, he wondered if the owner of the Sword Hut was someone from Earth? 
There were also rumors saying how the owner of the Sword Hut was a child adopted by the old King of Gods when he was out on a vacation. Therefore, Lu Shu was thinking, perhaps he went to Earth and copied so many poems?
Therefore, the owner of the Sword Hut should have come from Earth too…
Therefore, the owner of the Sword Hut did not expose the old King of Gods blatantly but instead helped to take care of his reputation. However, the books in the Sword Hut's Library was filled with handwritten information regarding the book's author and place of origin…
Initially, Lu Shu was not very interested in the library but he suddenly became extremely interested…
He felt as though his heart was burning with the urge to find out more. He revealed such a big secret by randomly flipping through a book?
He wanted to take every book out to flip through them. Then, Lu Shu realized that the owner of the Sword Hut had written down the author of every poem. Of course, the owner of the Sword Hut was not someone who studied the old poems. Therefore, it was understandable that they did not know who the author of certain poems were.
However, even if they did not know who the author was, they still wrote a small line of words at the back of the poem. Although Lu Shu did not know who wrote it, he was certain that it was not written by that particular person.
Tsk tsk, Lu Shu was initially mad with how the old King of Gods got rid of his backup plan. Now that he saw what the owner of the Sword Hut did, he suddenly felt relieved…
After a very long time spent flipping through the books, Lu Shu regained his senses and realized that the sun had set. At this moment, he heard footsteps outside the library. Then, he heard Gu Lingfei's voice. "What is going on, how can he go missing in the Sword Hut? If he disappeared, you guys are in trouble!"
Suddenly, Gu Lingfei stopped in front of the library of the cottage and turned. Both Gu Lingfei and Lu Shu's eyes met.
Lu Shu was about to say that he entered to take a look at the books. Since he was young, he loved to read books… Then, he suddenly realized that Gu Lingfei's expression turned to a look of disbelief. It was the first time she showed that expression on her beautiful face.
Gu Lingfei was shocked. "How did you get in? Who allowed you to go in?"
Lu Shu was unhappy. Nobody was guarding the library and there was no rule stating that nobody could enter. Why couldn't he enter? He said while looking at Gu Lingfei, "I am here to browse the books…"
"You…" Gu Lingfei was panicking. She tried to take a step into the library of the cottage and before her feet could touch the ground, the sound of a sword could be heard echoing throughout the library. It was an extremely sharp sound. 
Lu Shu looked up in shock. He suddenly realized that the grass of which the cottage was made up of turned as dangerous as swords! The library was a sword formation! 
At this moment, he finally understood why Gu Lingfei panicked. No wonder the place was left unguarded. Ordinary people could not even enter, including Master Gu Lingfei!
Gu Lingfei asked coldly, "Teacher had left for so many years and nobody could enter! Why can you enter?!"
Lu Shu was confused. "That's right, how did I enter?"
As he said that, Lu Shu stepped into the deep corners of the library and Gu Lingfei demanded in a low voice, "Get out now!"
Lu Shu said nonchalantly, "You come in and get me…"
Although Lu Shu did not understand why others could not enter but he could, he knew that if he went out and was caught by Gu Lingfei, he would never have the chance to go in again!
Therefore, he could not go out. Moreover, the way back home was in the library! Or rather, he wanted to dig out all the secrets in the library before he left!
Judging from how Gu Lingfei rushed Lu Shu out, it seemed like she had entered in the past and knew that it was an important place. However, that was precisely why Lu Shu wanted to stay.
Moreover, if the Master could not enter the cottage, it was the safest place…
However, Lu Shu thought that even though the owner of the Sword Hut had exceeded the Master realm, they would not be able to prevent a master from entering by randomly plotting a sword formation. Gu Lingfei probably did not attack because she was worried that she would destroy the entire library. 
Lu Shu did not know that all the seven Masters of the Sword Hut had entered the library and was taught by the owner of the Sword Hut.
This was the second most mysterious place, apart from the rear mountain, in the Sword Hut. Only those of the Master Realm could enter. After the owner of the Sword Hut left hurriedly 12 years ago, nobody could enter the library at all.
As Lu Shu walked, he suddenly discovered that the library only had poems of the king… He did not believe it initially but after touring the entire library, he confirmed that there were only poems of the king….
His face turned black immediately. Were all the books hidden?!

Translator Synopsis:

This is the story of an orphan, Lu Shu. He is not any regular orphan, but a metahuman experiencing the changes in himself, his country and the world during the dawn of the magical era. Watch as Lu Shu embarks on a journey to hone his peculiar abilities together with his sister, the adorable and charismatic Lu Xiaoyu. Along the way, they’ll encounter supernatural events, obstacles and even the most powerful people in their country. How will Lu Shu make the best of his abilities and oust his never-ending list of rivals and opponents?

I was doing some reading when Lil came. She can always sneak up on me. I know my gaurd isn't down to anyone, but she seems to flow right by it. I think my heart is never alarmed by her presence.

    "Hey there, I thought I would come by to tell you the news."

What news could she be talking about?

    "What's up Lil? What's the news?"

She sat down next me, and handed me a book.

    "This book is the news. It's a book of your poems. Now you too have a book in Heaven!"

She had such a big smile on her face when she said that.

    "Is that even allowed? For an outsider to have a book in Heaven?"

She nodded back.

   "Sure is, and prince Mikhail helped me do it. I'm certain The King is pleased with your writings."

Mikhail knew about this, and didn't say anything to me? She must have asked him not to say anything. She was always doing things on her own...

     "If it's a book of my writings. Then why does it say "Written by the Morning Star" on the cover of the book?"

She leaned in to kiss me on the forehead.

     "That's because you don't exist remember? You made it so the stories of you run wild."

     "So I wanted to preserve your privacy."

She did always keep her word to me. I don't expect anything less from her.

    "I picked out that name, because of you as well."

She stood up, looking away in the darkness of the cave.

    "You live at our northern most corner, and protect our wall. I know you dont show your light, but I'm sure it's brighter then at least half of Heavens inhabitants."

    "You guide all those you come in contact with, and you give them new light to leave with."

    "So I thought giving you a name that was like the light of a new dawn was perfect."

She was taking this pretty lightly. To me it was probably one of the best moments in our friendship. She had found a way to get me into Heaven. Without me actually having to go there.

She was an amazing woman, who had so much love in her heart. You couldn't tell it if you had to fight her. Yet if you were her friend she would never fail you. Always standing for something or another.

     "Thank you Lilith i will always cherish this book. I will never let it go from my side." 

I placed it in my bag with a note to the craftsmen. I'm not sure what language they speak, but I learned how to speak the Angelic language. So I wrote it in that, hoping they understood.

I asked them to make that book wearable around my neck. To place it in a box, so that only I could open it. I told them it was special to me.

    "When did you decide to do that?"

She turned back to me.

    "I have always been looking for a way to share you with Heaven. You're a really good teacher you know?!"

    "I decided to use your poems after you wrote me that first one. That one is only  in yours, and mine though."

    "I saved it for just us to read!"

Thoughtful as always.

     "I take it that you like the book."

I shook my head, and she looked confused.

    "I love the book Lil. It is one of my first real treasures along with the others."

     "This one will be my sixth book, and my favorite one yet."

It was a book we both worked on. She compiled my work, edited it for punctuation, and designed it in a good order. It isn't in order that they were written, but in an order that makes them a story.

She is probably one of the best librarians that are in Heaven. She collects, and composes books. Such a talented person she was...

     "I hope that your library grows Foxx. I have no doubt you will make your own books someday."

As long as I have her to help me with the books. I know there will be many more to come from "The Morning Star."

    "So you two are together. I knew I would find you both down in the cave."

Mikhail came walking in my cave. It looks like he brought some gifts with him. I hope he has the herbs he promised me.

    "You know I can't go too far away from my pet. He will miss his queen, and reek havoc in the wastelands."

She loves that story line too much.

    "She's right you know. I might just start behaving like a demon if she's gone too long."

We all laughed at that one.

    "I'm feeling honored to have so many guest in my cave today."

Mikhail came, and sat across from me.

    "I came to bring your herbs brother. I also have wine, and fruits from the market."

That caught Lil's attention, and she came over to sit by my side.

    "I have some ale if you guys want to have some."

He was pulling everything out of his bag. Looks like he grabbed Lil's favorite flavor of the wine. She is so excited right now.

     "Did you bring anything else with you today?"

He shook his head, and handed me the herbs. I like smoking them when I need to think. I am always thinking, and since the abyss. I have been able to think in multiple times, and spaces. 

The herbs help me keep one time, and space in mind. Also helps me process singular thoughts at a slowed rate. So I'm not thinking to far a head of myself, and forget what I was working on.

    "Are you sharing your herbs my Lord."

Lil was moving closer to me. Trying to peek at my bag of herbs to see how much he got me.

     "I could never tell you no with things like this my queen."

She smiled, and opened up her wine.

    "Thank you for my gift Mikhail." 

As she  poured some into a cup Mikhail gave her. Then she did the same for the both of us.

     "Keep the ale for yourself. You know we like the herbs more, and I'm the drinker anyway."

She was absolutely right about that. I dont drink much, but I can hold my own. She drinks wine as much as Mikhail drinks ale. We both like to smoke, but she let's me do most of that.

     "Yea brother, I'm not up for ale today. It's too much for me."

He shook his head.

     "She really is in control isn't she?..."

They laughed at that, but I was a bit hurt by that comment.

    "We share all roles, and responsibilities. Though I must say, she is formidable at being on top of me."

She smiled and gave me a cute side eye.

    "He knows who the boss is around here."

In reality she probably did have a handle on things much more then I did. She loved my arrogance, and understood it more then Mikhail. She also didnt seem to mind me being a smartass from time to time.

Now that she has found a way to get me into Heaven so to speak. She has one up on me when it comes to our relationship. Not that she cares about that stuff, or anything like that.

    "Father told me to tell you to start preparing for the raid."

Mikhail said to me getting serious.

    "He wants us to be ready for what is coming. He says that you should be my shadow, and that Lil should be yours."

I looked over to Lil, and saw that she was too happy with her wine. Eating the fruits, and reading one of my new poems. So I don't think she noticed what he said.

     "If it weren't for my gifts I would have scorned you for calling me that. Anyway, I'm always his shadow, even when he doesn't know it."

I had an idea she would follow me around sometimes when I was studying in the abyss. I could smell her scent sometimes, and others I just felt like she was close by.

     "I will stay within the abyss during the raid. I will be right next to you the whole time brother."

If I am to be his shadow, then I will be just that. The King knows I am my brothers keeper, and he is mine.

    "Father said you would know what to do."

The old man could always read me like an open book. He really didn't need to say much threw Mikhail to get me to understand what he needs.

We drank, laughed, and talked for hours before Mikhail left. Lil fell asleep as she always does when she drinks. I take her into the abyss during times like this. I can't keep her there long though.

I go in, and out with her. If she sleeps long I have to do that. At least I think I have to in order to keep the area from effecting her.

I don't know if it will at all, but I'm not taking any chances. It would break my heart to see her become like the devils.

When she wakes up I will probably smoke with her again before she goes back. It helps with the after effects of drinking too much.

Plus when she stays with me, I can lay with her for awhile. After taking her into the abyss fight a bit. I can sleep next to her for a few hours. There's no sleep better then that...

The making of a king in the heavens.

 This is the story of an unwanted soul finding it's way into heavens kingdom. After making into the kingdom, this same soul will become one of the higher ranking generals. Maybe even something higher then that in the kingdom. Can this unwanted soul become a king in heavens hall, or is he doomed to remain just an outsider?

The story starts at his creation, which happens to also be his rejection. With no one claiming him, he sets out to find out why he was created. In his search he discovers other beings similar to him, as well as some that are different. All of these beings seem to have a place to belong except him. Will he find a place to call home, or will he just find another place to fight for acceptance?

****This is not a story set in any religion. As it is a story of an Angel in the making. There will be multiple beliefs that come up in this novel. These are my studies, and interpretations of what these things mean to me. So I am chosing to show some respect to all Faith's, and beliefs.****

The cover art is my original art work. It might not be the finished cover for this book. I just thought it needed some type of art work on it.

To the left, in the bottom of the cover is a fox demon. He has a bag around his neck, and a cloak over him. He is standing out front of a house. 

The house is built inside of a tree, that is attached to a cave. If you read the book it will make sense.

Original storyline and concept are all a production of my studies.

Huan Yuan came up with two poems in the nick of time. Chu Yu went through them and thought they were not too shabby, but she did not have full confidence in them. She then passed them to the servant boy who was standing aside to hand them over to Pei Shu. The crowd passed their praises around after Pei Shu read the poems out loud. That was when Chu Yu really believed that the poems were excellent.
The wine vessel spun with the water again when the second song began, and Chu Yu chanted in her heart once more. However, the wine vessel coincidentally arrived before her when the music stopped.
It was there just like before. Nothing seemed to have changed.
Chu Yu glanced at the young man in blue who was playing the music instinctively. She almost asked out loud if he had done it on purpose. However, he was staring at his guqin from the beginning until the end. There was an icy expression on his handsome and intimidating face, making him unfathomable.
After glancing at the young man in blue quietly once again, Chu Yu smiled at Pei Shu as she raised her glass. She finished the glass of wine with her head up high and brought the low table with the nib and paper to Huan Yuan once again.
Chu Yu patted Huan Yuan's shoulder while smiling. "It's all yours now."
All she hoped now was that Rong Zhi was not exaggerating and that Huan Yuan really had the talent to create poems that were like flowing water.
She had doubts at that moment. The wine vessel had arrived before her twice when the music stopped. Was it coincidental or intentional? If it was the latter, why did the young man in blue do that?
The flowing spring water on the mountain top, listening to music, drinking wine, and writing poems were elegant. However, to Yue Jiefei who was standing aside, it was insane torture to him. As he listened to the relaxing music and the beautiful poems, he ripped two shreds of cloth from his clothes underneath and stuck them into his ears after rolling them into balls.
Two poems were produced like they were on an assembly line. When Chu Yu handed over the poems to Pei Shu, he was looking at Huan Yuan like he was looking at a monster.
The wine vessel rolled around once again when the third song was played. Chu Yu did not chant secretly this time. Instead, she turned to look at the young man in blue attentively while a faint smile appeared at the edge of her lips.
She wanted to see if the coincidence would happen again this time.

Rong Zhi walked out of the East Court slowly, wearing an enigmatic smile on his face. Mo Xiang happened to walk out of the West Court at the same moment. Looking at his smile, Mo Xiang hesitated for a moment but decided to step forward anyway.
Rong Zhi nodded lightly at him and drawled as he grinned, "Come play chess with me." Apart from reading, another hobby of Rong Zhi would be playing chess. It was common knowledge that he would get the other male companions to play with him occasionally. 
The duo then went to the Snow Garden. There was a chessboard on the limestone platform between the green bamboo shades. Black and white pieces were placed on the intersections of the board with irregular spaces between each other. It was an endgame.
It was not Mo Xiang's first time playing chess with Rong Zhi. He sat aside and picked up a white piece. Then, he asked softly while putting the piece down, "Did you go to the East Court, Young Master?"
Rong Zhi put a black piece down subsequently and said while smiling faintly, "I went there to prove something. Don't worry about me. I know what I'm doing."
Mo Xiang responded with a grin, "I shouldn't have pried. Young Master, you've always been thorough in your planning before you do something, so anything you do should be safe." He placed another piece down and lifted his head like he just recalled something. "Young Master, I heard Princess brought Huan Yuan out today."
Rong Zhi said, "That's right. I advised her to do that."
"Why?" Mo Xiang could not help but frown. "Until now, I still don't understand why you value Huan Yuan so much. He's just a scholar who has an insignificant talent in literature. What consequential things can he do?"
Rong Zhi was picking up a black piece when he heard that. He lifted his head and drawled slowly, "Do you know who Huan Yuan is?"
Mo Xiang shared what he knew about Huan Yuan honestly, "I heard that Huan Yuan is a descendant of the rebel Huan Clan."
"Rebel?" Rong Zhi thought while tilting his head and smiled as he responded, "I guess so. To the Liu Clan, the Huan Clan is a rebel indeed. However, if that's the case, the ancestor Liu Yu of the Southern region was a rebel too. In times of trouble, loyalty was as fragile as a bamboo paper. Ji Fa ended the Shang Dynasty and built the Zhou Dynasty. Liu Bang overthrew the Qin Dynasty and founded the Han Dynasty, and Sima seized the Wei Dynasty to start the Jin Dynasty. Almost every generation would have to overthrow the last dynasty to be the Emperor, so is there anyone who isn't a rebel?"
"The winner becomes the emperor while the loser becomes the bandit. If it was Liu Yu who had lost back then, the Huan Clan would've ruled the world today while the Liu Clan would've been killed." Although his tone was gentle, he showed no respect to those emperors who founded the dynasties, even calling their names out directly.
Mo Xiang was not shocked to hear that. He did not even reveal any surprise on his face and just listened to Rong Zhi speak.
Rong Zhi smiled lightly and set the game piece down. "The reason why I'm talking so much today is that I hope you don't limit your perspective about what has happened in the history of the clans. Look at things like you're looking at the world, then you'll have a better understanding.
"The Huan Clan and the Xie Clan were the only top nobilities that started from scratch during the Jin Dynasty back then. However, the rise of the Xie Clan came true with the effort of generations, but there was only one notable person from the Huan Clan. It was Huan Yuan's ancestor, Huan Wen. The clan rose to one of the top nobilities in the short ten years or so with his effort alone. Huan Wen was a peerless hero, but he died at a young age due to illness. He did not obtain any achievement while his son Huan Xuan was a dirtbag who had no ambition and talent. He became Liu Yu's stepping stone leading to his achievement just like that.
"The story of Huan Clan should've ended there, but when I saw Huan Yuan, I knew he's the last sliver of hope for the clan." Rong Zhi proceeded to speak after a moment of silence, "I heard the reason the Princess knew about Huan Yuan's existence came from the news that the Huan Clan insisted on sending through. The Princess's father was still the emperor back then and he was going to send assassins to the Huan Clan. He wanted to kill the last blood of the clan. Without any other options, the clan got the Princess to see Huan Yuan so that he would be safe entering the Princess's Imperial Residence."
That was how Huan Yuan managed to keep his life. Apart from him, there was no one left in the Huan Clan.
It was Mo Xiang's first time hearing that, so he could not help but asked in shock, "Does Huan Yuan know about this?"
Rong Zhi smiled lightly. "Of course, he doesn't. I wouldn't have revealed that to him at that time."
"Why's that so?"
