Um, does the word fanfiction mean nothing to you? Author can make their story harem or not if they want to. Just because an anime has a harem, doesn't mean a fanfic based in that anime has to as well, since that would just be bad writing.

Well in my humble opinion it will lose the appealing of the anime harem take DXD for example think of it having just one love interest pretty boring and not interesting to me unless the ff author are veteran at creating romance, tbh i like harem-romance that have good development where the girls didn't fall to mc for shallow reason

I guess that's just a divide of opinion, then. I don't really see how one romantic interest in DxD would make it boring, since the romance shouldn't have to be the focal point of the story. Don't get me wrong though, it's not like I'm hating on you for reading harem stories, I just don't get the appeal.
