to the magically uneducated, like myself, its written messily, slap dash seemingly to meet the word count. the system is sometimes present sometimes not, there is no real lore building, it kinda throws you in and expected you to run with it. I can't I've better magic based novels. I don't even know what level the MC character is at or what his going on other than him existing... sigh. I feel bad for the author who has spent his time and effort to write something less than mediocre
