To burn a kingdom is an amazing piece to read and I recommend every single person to give at least the first few chapters a try. It will be worth your time. What kept me reading was mostly the way you wrote the two mcs. Both Dillon and Arellia have been thought out thoroughly and feel like actual characters that have their own personalities that don't just stay the same. You can read how both characters change through their history and experiences. Also, something I found myself to enjoy quite a lot is the speed at which the story is told, how the world is described and the details that actually matter (to me) are put into the foreground for a moment and aren't overexplained, just straight to the point. I oftentimes find myself reading little bits and pieces of the chapters that were hinting at things that are either going to happen or tell a little bit of somebody's story, which I find very rewarding to pay extra attention to the text. It is really enjoyable to read. Keep it up. I hope I can read more soon!
