I had a stroke reading this, though the idea is sound you pretty much made the story have zero growth.. the main character might as well be a piece of paper and you used a basic choice for looks. On the upside It can work.

Now if the wishes were limited: for example MC can wish for his first 3 pokemon (legendaries excluded) and can only choose 1 for having something like a like a King gene, or MC can wish to be born in any region…but can’t choose being related to any canon characters

It's not a issue as I wasn't trying to turn you off writing, infact I hope you go further.. maybe write a actual book and be a best seller. ain't that a dream.. and everyone must start somewhere.
