Long story short, the book so far is good but is appearing to be falling into the same pit of deadness as most, or atleast I see it as that. The words per chapter means the amount of updates and their consistency is basically null, whilst also being off putting to some and demotivating for both parties at best due to human nature not wanting to do tasks of such scale. We also get a lot less information to do with each section and said sections aren't wholly clear, like a fight sequence should be one chapter to four depending on the magnitude whereas this'll be WAY less. The world is being glossed over at the chapters I've read up to, with minimal development but that's fair as you can't really progress plot without missing out on this. Majority of the development is through events relating to the plot but there is a lack of in depth delving into the conditions and etc. Fine if this will progress with the plot but, sorry no offense, most writers on this platform can't manage both on these types of books that demand it. The characters seem a bit too forced, like we just entered into a story halfway through and saw the four dwarves saving their arch nemesis or whatever, it just feels like too much time has been skipped and so little fleshing out has been done. Take a look at the mother, she serves as an introduction to the plot, acts as one would do, sets up a question of why she did that AND feels like she has an emotional connection through the worry, recklessness and eventual duality of before compared to after. What I'm trying to say is that the instant change of personality makes her feel alive as it becomes more obvious as to what her original one was, making her seem like she fits unlike most of the passerby-is-friend characters. Unique, amazing writing in developing plot and character (even better if character stirs from cliche like sister dies and he becomes the opposite of his traits like hes now ruthless or dejected) but the world development and consistency hold it as a "meh I'll possibly come back to read more chapters" to me. And remember, this is the internet so my opinion is automagically correct!!!/s /s Kidding but yeah that's my viewpoint.

I appreciate the review; I have felt like I keep stumbling when I write. Which sucks, but I like what I'm doing, and the amount of responses this is getting is fantastic. Once I get my work schedule entirely situated. I can return and continue expanding on the world, characters, etc. As I read this, it excited me. Knowing the impact of answering a bit of those question. Such as the mother's origins and reasons why she did what she did. As well as character development, they'll genuinely establish throughout everything, so keep a lookout for that. We are still in the very early stages of the story, and this novel series is planned for at least three books, each with its own arcs.

Sounds like a good time, haha, I'll stick around to see your plans come to fruition then. Sorry if I originally sounded like I aggressively hate this book, know that I don't and instead love to read unique pieces like this; I read tons of them weekly and can't seem to get enough of them, yet I hate to see some fall. I was previously harsh due to how I mark my own work, becoming a critic and thus amending each and every mistake to be rid of the flaws so projecting this mindset as a review seems like it has bad intentions but the aim is to answer said questions if one believes me. Glad to see it worked out and I am truly happy to know you have gained insight from my perspective, and I'm especially hopeful for the future of this book. (Will update review as it progresses to not be unfair and to give more info) I originally wanted to write two novels but I couldn't seem to grasp the motivation nor the spare time, which I regret, as exam season awaits me - but if I ever get chance then I might make them. If you have any questions or anything you can just reply to me through this so I get the notification and I'll be glad to help. One more thing before I end this, how many chapters will be freely available? I've seen some gems adopt a "free till like 500 chapters" and I've seen them do really well, Chrysalis for example, so I just became curious of this. Either answer, will read as far as I can, haha.

In relation to the beginning of your reply, as this didn't really fit in mine, I too have experienced that a lot. The method, if it helps at all, I used was to construct drafts and then reform the ideas or structures to make that feeling go away. Thanks for the reply.
