I find the idea of a gamer self-insert into the MCU very interesting. But I couldn't read more than one chapter of this because of the grammar and just how the author put emotion into the story. sure the grammar is understandable but it's bad enough it gives me a headache reading it as there's bad phrasing and grammar mistake in practically every sentence. Then there's how the author shows emotion in the story. example Peter feels sad or Peter says something in a sad tone. I honestly can't stand that. because the author's writing in how the characters should feel instead of describing the characters displaying the emotions the author wants to convey. like if someone wanted to show a character being angry 😡 they do it by having the character yell and cussing at the target of their anger and the author could display them yelling by putting everything in caps example SHUT YOUR PIE HOLE. they're much better ways to show emotion for a character than just writing the emotion the character should feel into the story.

Are you serious? Do you really expect people to continue reading a story in ‘hope it gets better’. No one does that. You read a few chapters and if it isn’t to your liking, you move on. And to insult then for leaving a review is stupid. That’s the entire purpose of it. Fair enough if they were being rude but they were explaining what they didn’t like and how they can improve. You know… the whole point of a review. 🙄

I'm not idiot. I'm simply not going to waste my time reading a story that's shown really bad storytelling mechanics right out the gate hoping it gets better like the dozens of other story's on this website as I've been there and done that and it's honestly disappointing more often than not. as it would truly be stupid of me to waste my time on every story that's poorly written hoping it gets better. If the author's truly improved through the course of his writing of this story he should return to his early chapters and rewrite them. because most people aren't going to waste their time reading a story that was written horribly. as only a few select people torture themselves reading a story that was written poorly at the beginning and hoping it's going to get better. also there's no need for name calling here.

nothing I said in my review was unfair or untrue. I very much can judge a story if the writing was this bad at the beginning 🤣🤣 and I'm not going to waste my time torturing myself reading like 30 chapters of it.

Actually, you can judge book by reading 1-3 chapters if it shows some worrying signs. Like poor grammar, gaping holes in plot logic and ridiculous out of characters acting of well-known heroes. If foundation of novel is THAT bad, how could you expect it become better over time? Author will rewrite whole background in the middle of the story? Author will change the way he portrait characters that he don't like?

i love this comment thread it was actually helpful. 1 i dont have to tortures' myself with attempting to read 2 i saw the author reply . . yeah telling people not to review his story if they dont like it genius.

Hopefully u are right but I’m dropping at ch 10 bc of the bad writing and grammar that is still prelevant

The authors replies in this thread are enough proof that his grammar is pretty bad, cant expect more from the story itself.

You've never understood, or you don't understand on purpose. Either your parents didn't instill in you a sense of empathy, or you're a psychopath. Any normally constituted individual is capable of understanding why criticism is poorly received. If it's constructive and rewarding, it encourages. If it contains positive elements and areas for improvement, it enlightens. If, on the other hand, it consists solely of negative points, it's a blatant lack of respect and destructive criticism designed to undermine the author's motivation. Anyone confronted with such a barrage of criticism would be likely to jeopardize his or her sanity and be forced to stop. Of course, it is also possible to ignore them, but this depends on the personality of the individual in question. Learn to put yourself in other people's shoes and you'll understand their suffering. I'm not a writer, but I can feel what he felt, because I've had an good upbringing.

Because that's just the way it is, exclusively negative reviews are totally irrelevant and their sole purpose is to destroy, because if you didn't like it, it's wiser to leave rather than spread your hatred. It's a question of logic, especially if your criticism concerns grammar. We're not interested in grammar, we're interested in the story. If he focuses only on insignificant details, his criticism is meaningless and direspectfull.
