Development of the story is decent if not a little rushed. Main MC is too trusting towards S.H.I.E.L.D. and already at a boss/subordinate relationship with them; with him being the subordinate (not sure why is that....). I mean if your MC is insanely rich he won't need S.H.I.E.L.D resources as he can get it for himself. Pretty submissive for a mysterious ninja character and lacking the intelligence to be one. Seems a little goody two shoes as well. The story is still in the early stages and has much room to grow. Hopefully we see some improvements going forward.

Where did you get the boss/subordinate relationship from? I wrote it more like a partnership, don't know how you saw it as him being the subordinate. Also SHIELD's help isn't something you decline just because you're rich. SHIELD has ressources he can use, like intelligence or technology. Just because a character is rich doesn't make him able to handle anything alone. Even Batman needs Alfred, Lucius Fox, Justice League, his sidekicks,..., to just survive sometimes.
Because shield has almost bo reasources at that point in time and is completely corrupted by hydra? Batman on the other hand doesnt need help unless its something out of this world, something sheild cant help with.
