Okay so the world in thsi novel is basically Gate: and thus the JSDF Fought There if a kid from an elite family found the gate before they were attacked. The plot is pretty good; the MC is fairly intelligent and thinks things through, but is reasonable and knows his limits pretty welll. Reccommended!

It’s funny that the gate is outside of Jerusalem though, so the US started and finished the war in the Middle East in 3 days because of the massive amount of profit they stood to gain.
