Lets hope, MC does not go on racism spree all over world. From the name alone it is interesting. First few chapters name are good. But more interesting it is, more worried I am. Chinese authors have chinese superiority syndrome in them. Lets see how this one goes.

いいねI have read few chapter, amount of knowledge in this is pretty good. I am not sure about authenticity but i think writing this much should require at least some type research in that field or author is God. Well hurry up read this and give me RAW name
Kyrus:I've read up to chapter 150 in Raws, no racism. In fact I'd say the author likes other races! He competes with a fellow hunter who happens to be a big Russian guy and becomes fast friends with him, he travels to a third world country and doesn't insult the natives. If anything this author only cares about real facts about nature. In one of their author notes they wrote about how much research they put into one part. I'm talking about government statistics, world wide statistics, etc. Just for a mission where the MC herds sheep.
I mean they(authors) tend to have interesting ideas. They also talk smack about their own country by bringing up the talk about their young masters and the police ignoring the laws because they have some special clan or whatever. They talk about how their society views others as slaves to their parents/families/clans even if it means selling you to someone whos wealthiest bidder (girls). They also talk about the posion that they are forced fed with the whole bend over for your country because “the greater good”. Of course its just those cliche stereotypes of most magical realism novels. But from a point of view you can see it as massive flaws within china which is a big red flag -pun intended- (or green since red is good in china) to their government. lol However, whenever they bring up another country they have to elevate china as number one in the world and the other country is an evil spawn of satan. They then include racial stereotypes and slurrs to prove their point.
I think praising whatever fictional version of China is in the novel isn't the issue. It's the way they treat everyone else that usually ends up being a turn over. There is praising your country and then there is saying everyone else in the world is evil. A lot of novels often turn other countries to cardboard cutout evil too. Not even trying to put any actual thought or backstory behind why and for some reason they are all united in this evil front.
Usagi_mofu:The chinese themself don't have a superiority in them. It's because the government of China enforce the idea of that China is superior. Chinese authors who praise their country (directly or indirectly) are more well received than novels who take a neutral stance.

There is a lot of violence in this novel. Hunting animals, feeding his pets raw meat, fighting and killing poachers.
Elder:and I always start out alone, with a single blade and a dog… which killed humans before! (all you can is hope...)
Same issue goes to genre of horror. They axe the horror novels too much that the real horror of story gets completely destroyed. My house of horror had excellent humour and horror combo however, the Chinese press and media control of it's gov axed that story pretty hard. The author had to go hiatus and the whole horror of story changed into thriller and action🥲🥲
