Because of forced narrative and lazy writing of course. The author wants them to be together but doesn't want to or know how to write the chapters necessary to actually improve their relationship.
So in essence he gets paid virtual currency in the form of points for reading books which he can use to buy not only future tech but also assembly lines where he also doesn't have to do anything.. So he doesn't actually need to be smart and do research or figure stuff out. He just gets everything handed to him for reading a couple books and doing some missions. It's kinda boring tbh. I was looking forward to how he was gonna handle the research, development and roll-out of this new tech but I guess I can only be disappointed. I'll give it a couple more chapters but this is probably gonna get dropped soon.
As a Java software engineer, I would agree. But it's not entirely unheard of either.
Keep in mind that even though he stabbed them he might not have made the killing blow to all these enemies.
he needs metal though
yeah some way to train skeletons to be archers would be nice. or some way to influence the direction they evolve into by supplying them training and equipment. so having these guards or archers train the skeletons would be cool.
They won't be permanent though.. It said any resurrected will turn into dust unless they were already undead.
I guess like this
Su Xiaoxiao hasn't slept for 2 days*
Maybe they are not his kids but nephews or his lords kids... He has actually never admitted that they were his in the first place..
The family could be living in a complex with different houses around a central courtyard. Which was common in asia.
Maybe it's a doctor who decided to swap roles. Or the other way around..
This is common sense, he should already have guards before he transmigrated into that body.
Why is a king without an heir, who is as weak as an ant, taking a stroll in a forest with deadly creatures by himself in the first place? There is no way anyone would let him go out without at least one strong guard at his side... Any ruler would have guards around him 24/7 just for this case.
I don't understand this.. He's taking a casual stroll but he has his armor with him? and he's able to put it on after hearing a scream? Putting on armor would take at least several minutes depending on how many pieces it is. This all seems very weird. Unless he has a magical inventory and auto equip function but this was not really mentioned so far.
immigrants.. babies would not have been born in half a year. to be honest, half a year does seem very unrealistic. it takes time to spread the word between countries. more so for people to decide to move.
The system must know that he had the gold. At least the author could make it more believable by adding some extra level of difficulty like not making the grain grow so fast and have them gather enough workforce for plowing or something before they run out of food. Dear author, this quest was just stupid and rushed. A story is not about the destination, it's about the journey. Don't rush so much and keep the system as a side thing. Let the MC learn and grow with the story by solving his own problems.
it promotes loyalty and makes your soldiers fight to the death when necessary. If they know their families are paid and cared for then they would be more willing to give their lives for their country. Otherwise they would save their own lives at any cost because their families need them to support them. Obviously this could cost you battles and your own soldiers might turn against you if they have to fight against impossible odds.
He could not really enforce anything. He did not necessarily win, he just beat back the enemy and forced them to retreat. Only if he could be a menace to that king or his lands could force a negotiation..
