Oh..thanks for the comment, I did some more research on this because you said so. Your memory is not wrong. As you may have heard, this has an Asian connection. Here are a few facts: 1. Elisa Lam's background Although Elisa Lam is Canadian, she is of Hong Kong descent by birth. Her parents immigrated to Canada from Hong Kong. Her Chinese name is Lam Ho Yi. 2. Similarity with the movie 'Dark Water' Many people point out this incident as a strong coincidence related to Japanese and Hollywood cinema: This is strikingly similar to the plot of the famous Japanese horror film 'Dark Water' (Japanese name: Honogurai Mizu no soko kara) released in 2002. In that film, the body of a little girl is found in a water tank on the roof of a building, and the residents complain about the strange taste and color of the water. Since this film (and its Hollywood remake) was released many years before Eliza Lam's death, there was speculation at the time about whether this was some kind of supernatural imitation.
Thank you so much.
Thank you so much.
I'll think about it, thank you.
Especially since I'm only writing this novel these days, thank you for understanding and supporting my situation. ❤️🔥
Thank you
I appreciate reader feedback, especially thank you for taking the time to read my story and commenting on it. I write stories and read comments while working part-time, which is why I can't respond to most of them. However, if I have made a mistake, I apologize. I'm still a new and aspiring writer, and I'm still learning both about writing stories and how to deal with society. Please continue to stay tuned for any comments, suggestions, or accusations. Thank you and I apologize again if I unintentionally hurt your feelings.
Honestly, I build the story up naturally by building the flow rather than planning and building the flow. 🧡
"Hi sara_707! Thank you SO MUCH for this incredibly thoughtful comment. 😊 It truly means the world to me that you noticed those small details like the flickering lights ; that's exactly the atmosphere I was trying to create! To answer your question about pacing: I try to think of the eerie moments like a slowly rising wave. I build with small, almost normal oddities (like the power flicker), let the tension settle for a beat in the dialogue or character's thoughts, and then add another slightly bigger 'creepy' detail. The goal is to make the reader feel the dread accumulating, almost without them realizing why at first. So glad it's working for you! Thanks again for reading and for your amazing insight! Comments like this are my absolute favorite. ✨" Stay tuned. 🧡
God bless you. ✨ Thanks for the feedback; stay tuned. 🧡
