Hey! About that novel—it might take some time since I’m currently busy writing another one. I might start posting a chapter or two from next week, but I can’t say for sure yet.
Thank you for your understanding. Yeah, I’ll just keep at it—doing my best to create something that doesn’t feel too over the top, yet not swept under the rug either.
Thanks for your understanding. I'm going to keep writing—it's the only thing I truly know how to do.
¡Tal vez más adelante! Aún no tengo muchos capítulos acumulados, pero una vez que tenga suficientes, definitivamente planeo lanzar un Patreon. ¡Muchísimas gracias por leer y dejar tu reseña, significa mucho para mí! 😊
LOL, sorry about that! Your phrasing was a little off, and I misunderstood it—I thought you were saying that 14 months is a year, instead of asking why I wrote '14 months and less than one year' about the Chitauri invasion for different scenes. Yeah, that was just a miswriting on my part. Sorry for the misunderstanding, but man, the phrasing still threw me off!
In the Marvel universe, the pinnacle of being human is arguably the awakening of the X-Gene—unlocking one's mutant potential. So yeah, Mark has awakened his X-Gene. His powers include empathy and a unique borrowing ability—he can temporarily copy another mutant’s power, but only with their consent. His telekinesis isn’t actually his original power; he got it from Lily.
Actually, now that I think about it, we might have been able to create a real Jaeger if we had used Upgrade in that situation—of course, after Grey Matter designed the blueprint somehow. But at the time, I wasn’t really thinking about building a working Jaeger. It was just meant to be a sculpture—a symbol of hope for people going through so much.
It's like you can strategize and make plans while you're Grey Matter, and when you transform into another alien—or even back into a human—you still retain those plans. Because even though the bodies are different, the mind is still the same. The memory storage doesn't reset; it's all shared.
It was a sculpture, not a real working Gipsy Danger. How could I possibly create something out of nothing—especially a Jaeger? That doesn’t make any sense. You can’t just build a fully functional Jaeger using only telekinesis and a broken bridge. Sure, we could repurpose the metal, but there are still so many components you'd need to make a working Jaeger.
