They appear during the first arc and are side characters. Some of them stay relevant throughout the story. There is only 1 MC.

I don't want to spoil but he'll get something for his left hand, that's useful for quick attacks ;) Until then he will some good use out of his sword & shield combo.

The system will remain active... it's just that the system only performs it's basic functions in worlds and it isn't allowed to say anything, just quietely observe. A large chunk of the plot is happening in the Realm where the system remains active and actively supports the MC. It's one of the major characters that will stick around for the entire plot so I think you won't be disappointed.

Will be explained in the next chapters. You get 10 silver coins so you can play 10 games. In those 10 games you need to win 100 golden coins.
