What do you think, is it the proper thing to tell him about the 'dieing and waking up as someone else' part or no? (I am 100% curious, and 100% okay with any answer)
(Disclaimer:You do not have to read this, it's a jumble of thoughts) Okay. that is important. I totally let that slip my mind at the time. Yes it is important to tell him that, and also the right thing to do. but it would also be better to keep the part of waking up in the body to himself as I don't think anyone would believe him about it, or take it in a 'oh, this is normal' kind of way. At best maybe they'd entertain the idea, at worse they think he's some idk witch or something- no at worse is probably the people who care for the former body would feel cheated and angry possible thinking about revenge believeing that he killed the boy and replaced him.(or something) But yeah, if someone has ties to his past he should probably tell them that the person from 'back then' (or something) isn't who they are. and maybe add in that he doesn't remember. forcing the person to see him as he is now and not how they use to see him. (Unless the person is absolutely delusional and still thinks despite what he says that he remembers and is just trying get away from them) (This is just a jumble of thoughts, some of these are actually things that happened in other books (say, I might have experience in the 'I died and woke up as someone else's genre.) and other parts of it is a rant. but idk what I was ranting on about now that I'm at the end.
😭 I missed it, I'll go back. Thank you.
.......I AlmOsT read something else....
At least he's on your side.
ummmm....when did Devyn learn Malakai's name? did I miss it???
Oh thank god, even I got terrified there for a moment.
Now is the time to get even more suspicious of this 'possibly-not a man'. And maybe also ask him his name when you're safe.
And now, Devyn. This is where you ask for a sword yourself.
That doesn't make it any more okay to consume!
