Despite the hope I had at the start, the story is poorly written. Moreover, it is full of problems : baseless arguments used to justify things in the plot. If the author had at least not talked about his arguments in every part of chapters, it would have been better. The idea behind the plot is great, but it is poorly used. On top of that, the English is bad.

MC and his family are the classic victim of any novel. Nothing worth it in this novel. Why should anyone having the power to obliterate the family of MC do something as hard as just plant a spy and waste time just to create a plot.

The plot is interesting. The basics of chinese novel are used. But the whole idea seems to be used poorly. The characters are too shallow. And the MC is below average in term of smartness.
