Hi everyone, author here! Welcome to I Don’t Need To Log Out, where reality and virtual worlds collide. Thank you for checking out my novel—I hope you’re having as much fun reading this story as I am writing it! Let me share a bit about the story. I know there are a lot of “regression” and “the game turned out to be real” themed novels out there, and every author claims theirs is different. Yes, the MC regressed, and the game is real, but the focus isn’t on those twists. Instead, the story dives deeper into what happens behind the scenes—how the "NPCs" prepare for players’ arrival, what they do when no players are around, what stories they carry, and more. At its core, this is a story about Arlon, a lone man who knows the game’s reality. He must fight monsters and, at the same time, adapt to life as an NPC, all while keeping up appearances for both NPCs and players. If you have any questions, please ask here. I’d love to hear from you! And if you have feedback, don’t hesitate to share—I’m always looking to improve. And, well, I don’t think it’s too shameless to give a 5-star review to your own novel! If I didn’t think it deserved that, I’d change the parts that need improvement rather than settle for less. Happy reading, and thanks for being here!
I will definitely stick around and read the whole story. Thank you for your answer!! EM is Ending Maker, it is a Japanese light novel with similar story. But “the game world is actually real and god created the game” thing explained at the end of the novel.
60 chapters in and I decided to write a review. First of all, great story!! Even though it is a common genre, I haven’t seen any copying from the other similar novels (for example, EM which is like the same story). So it has a unique storytelling. I was going to vote 5 stars but I habe a few criticisms regarding the mc. First of all, mc is created as a smart character; however, we see a lot of dumb decisions and he always forgets to appraise people and enemies. Don’t forget that he came from a world where this was a game and he was the best gamer. In a game, you would definitely check everyone’s strength before fighting. Also, he is not a pushover but he kind of is sometimes. An example is the engagement thingy with the princess. He should be more decisive. I would have rated 4.5 but one great thing is this is not a harem novel and I am grateful to the author that he didn’t make me drop this story, so I rate 4.8.
