I think i'm gonna stop here, i only ever read it to see the girl suffer, but she's basically lesss than a sidecharacter now, even the author only remembers her every 20 chapters. The story by itself just feels like wish fulfilment. I like that he's decisive and bold when getting rid of enemies, but thats basically all i like about him. That aside he has not personality or character. I dont even know what his goal is, its nearly 200 chapters and other than some bullshit "i'm free from all obligation, i can do whatever i want", idk what he wants. And fyi getting stronger is not a want, right now he's just plot, not following the plot, he is the plot. Even when he says he wants to take a mission, get masks to sell i find myself question "why should i care?" He already has a base, outside teh game, 2 more inside, he never has to worry about food, water, anything. He's the strongest in bth the game and reality. Occasionaly some nutcase challenges his well idk, challenges this, and he just annihilates them. Then he just goes back to grinding. It feels like watching code on a screen. He has no wants, no needs, he gets everthig with literally minimal effort. Barely has any friends, no family, his interactions with people jsut so "not bas actually". Still it feels like i could probably find something better. At least one better structured. Lets be honest, what kinda game allows you to advance your class twice without having to raise your level. Also why is it every 5 levels. The structure is utter shite, its like the author just couldnt be bothered. By 170 i had forgotten what the calamity even was, was the game invading the world, was it preparing them for a real world calamity, what is the point of all this? One upside though, the lifespan thing isnt half bad, but there's so many loopholes, still all things considered its unique and it mostly worked.
i'm confused isnt killing "innocent" people just gonna add to the red name?
why is his class advancement so basic, he just completes it with exp. Other people have to fulfil actual requirements. No offense author, but you did not think this through, among other thing, many many other things
this book has the worst translated gaming terminologies, first muttering then this, stripping
And the worst part is the MC, he used to be level headed kinda ruthless, now he's just a mindless idiot dead set on ranking up no matter the cost and its become so pointles. The character devept deteriorated, no matter what excuse you give, what happens after he gains that strength. What happens after he destroys the sect, "allegedly". Find a bigger sect to destroy? I cant enjoy the process when it literally doesnt exist. In book the MC is always gonna get Op at teh end, thats a fact, the differnce and teh reason i mf keep reading books is the process to get there. The people he meets, the allies, the enemies, the challenges, the pain, the triumph. All i'm getting and i've been getting the last 20 or so chapters is the most basic bitch villains below the tier of "do you know who my father is?" When it started homeboy was on demon time, he found his golden finger, figured out how to use it, refused to get extorted, got marginalised, decided to work normally, almost got bullied at work. Killed his boss, and just went to hide in the forests, and no one gave a fuck. That shit was interesting. It was fun. Now he just exists to "passively" cultivate. I've read novels where the MC stayed in his courtyard for 100 years, never left once and that shit was more engaging. i get that he needs strength fast, but goodness, why make it so dreary. Accepting the fate of a demon cultivator doesnt mean he has to become a puppet, he literally has not agency any more
idk y but it just feels chaotic, you know that situation where you have a bunch of thoughts and trouble expressing yourself, thats what this shit feels like. It was well structured at the beginnning, now its just so random. Wahtever rules, if they even existed were thrown out the window long ago
so the title was meant for the MC not his opponents
No offense but cultivation talent doesnt mean what it should in this book. His other talent has nothing to do with cultivation. ANd the new one he wants to buy just seems like something that harvest people to increase cultivation, seems mroe like a technique than a talent. And i am out
you literally have only one week before it resets, are you stupid or something?
