Well not everyone hated the Uchiha in the village, normal people didn't really care much and the high level ninja or the higher ups in the village who did hate them had nothing against the lone survivor. And maybe they weren't happy that the Uchiha was back but they weren't sad about it either, they simply talked about it like they always do and from Naruto's perspective who always hated how they badmouthed him, They might look like they were happy about it as they didn't criticize him trying to run away and go rouge.
