Either way, it seems like the author is deadset on having Rattata as a starter - just like everyone else - so I’m gonna drop the story right here and you should too if you want to bother wasting time.
For some reason, the top part of my comment is cut off even though it says it isn’t. If anyone reads this and can’t make sense of it then just reply and I’ll add the top part.
Oh, another one of these stories. The author tries hard to be different, but this trope just ends up being completely overdone and very horribly executed. There is already a better fanfiction out there with a Rattata as a starter: “The Hyper Fang That Shall Pierce The Heavens.” To try and be different, the author picks a weak and/or an unconventional Pokemon as a starter which is demonstrated here. However, there is always a better option. There are tons of weaker and more unconventional Pokemon that could’ve been chosen as a starter, instead of a damn Rattata like every other “I want to be different by picking a weak starter” story. I’ll list a few off the top of my head right now. PIdgey, Ekans, Zubat (which might actually be even more common than a Rattata), Meowth, even Weedle would be better as Beedrill can mega evolve, Oddish, Sandshrew, Cubone, Lickitung (not as weak but very unconventional), and Azurill (Azumarill literally has a base stat total only 7 points higher than Raticate). If you’re including gen 3 then you have Pokemon like Taillow, Lotad, Shroomish, Nincada, Meditite (Medicham’s base stat total is actually LOWER than Raticate’s so it more than fits the weak requirement), Poochyena and Whismur. There’s a butt load of options, some of which are even more common and weaker than Raticate, but you still chose Rattata😭.
This guy has the personality and character of a wall.
No. Hashirama and pre rinnegan Madara are relative. Hashirama needed everything to beat Madara, don’t disrespect my man like that. They both stand head and shoulders above everyone, it’s just Hashirama is barely stronger. I believe Kishimoto said the difference between them was as thin as a piece of paper. So nah, Kazuki ain’t as strong as Madara because that would imply he’s basically as strong as Hashirama.
It’d be too quick then. The author doesn’t want the fight to be that quick and wants to add unnecessary drama instead. However, by the very nature of how they fight, characters like Minato and Obito usually end their fights extremely quickly. It’s a high stake, high speed battle
Nah this is crazy. Author, Kazuki isn’t from the Yuki clan. Look, I can believe using ice style through extreme control over water — essentially be controlling the temperature of water — but not through actual nature transformation.
Killer Bee would be below/around ten years old right now. He’s only 5 years older than Kakashi
Trying to bring him on the verge of exhaustion? That’s not happening. He has insane stamina feats. I don’t doubt a more prime Hiruzen should be able to beat him in a 1v1 but that’s the worst way to go about it.
Up his chakra consumption? That is genuinely the dumbest way to try and beat the 3rd raikage. This is a man who fought for 3 consecutive days against an army of 10,000 while continuously expending chakra for those 3 days…and you plan on trying to deplete him of chakra?
