I'm considering writing as much as I can for this final semester of my college and then contract this book, before starting my professional life. It's okay. Everybody needs to start somewhere. Think more about your sentences when you're not writing or doing something else. Proficiency depends upon how long a person has allocated to their craft. So best of luck and keep writing. Create the skeleton of the story first. Improvements can be made anytime.

It will be good to make the presence of MC known between a string of conversations between the side characters. You can also express what the MC is thinking about them, while they are joking around. Like how his previous impressions about his team mates were slowly getting changed.I like how the MC doesn't need to be the center of it all, maybe he'll get a role just for himself in this mission later on.
