As this was a year ago, I don't remember shit cuz this was like 400+ novels ago. But from a system EXP side, you don't ever get LVL's but instead EXP. Only events/quests might give a value of levels as a reward. If the author stated that there was multiple different types of XP multipliers like one that increases the higher the level an enemy is above you and the double XP for being over LVL 100 (I don't remember just bs'ing at this point), then we should see the modifiers adjusting to the XP value or at least the total that we can make sense of, not just LVL's that don't add up.
What's the point in starting something, if you have no intention of finishing it? Literally been waiting 2 years for you to continue this....
Haven't read it either but Cyberpunk is its own genre, so guessing this is a fully original novel.
Odd that he'd just jump at an entirety different weapon type. The longsword & dagger duel wielding was pretty cool and added style points.
So you just skipped over him killing people for the first time like it was nothing?
Wasn't supposed to be an exact 1-1 comparison. The point still stands that the anime's world accepted way of growth is ignored and the MC uses another way which just nerfs themselves. I dropped this a while ago, so I don't remember the context too much.
Can confirm it's rushed to hell. Mc gets pretty OP well before the start of BL1. Stopped at chapter 20 which for 10 chapters straight it was just a speed run on what new traits he got.
