Thank You for reading my story. 1. The leader is indeed at Elize level, which is the Enlightened Stage. Hex isn't able to fight him om even foot. If I have done it correctly, I do say the leader kept an eye out for Elize. It was more of a probe. Hex is strong. Extremely strong. Because the story is more his POV it just doesn't is highlighted a lot. Having said that, see him as a strong 12-14 teenager with excellent skills fighting against a strong adult. The adult will feel his kicks and punches but wouldn't be threatened by it. Nor does Hex stand a chance to fight on even foot against the adult. So, Hex isn't jumping 2 stages. He wouldn't be able to defeat even a Transformation Stage Knight, unless he uses his cheats like souldust. 2. Physical strength is indeed not given a lot of attention because its believed that only Blessings can enhance someone. No one really pays it any real attention, unless they already have some Blessing in that direction. What will make a difference is the divide between the regular stages (Squire to Refined) and ascended stages (Transformation and up) as the type of Method forces people to enhance at least one aspect. And all three (energy, body, and soul) are Refined and Transformed going from Refined to Transformation stage. So, it could vary. A Method that emphasizes body refinement could allow a fourth stage person to go toe to toe against a fifth stage with less physical refinement, provided the fifth stage doesn't use their own advantages. But even then, a fifth stage won't lose easily. In the battle against Sand Burial Monarch we needed Perl to go all out and Hex to use his souldust inside a Devil crystal, to kill him. And they had the element of surprise too. 3. Infinite affinities. In all honesty, this came due a bit poor planning from my side. At some point it grew out of hand. So now its infinite. In theory he could get all of them, the question is if he should get them. I don't plan to stretch the story indefinitely. And I am not even focusing on the affinity gains too. I just let the story unfold and when I hit a point where I see, hey we can harvest one here, I let him do so. Like the lair was planned to let the truth behind Medina's background and changes be known to Hex, even if a part of it. But once we navigated the darkness, I saw the opportunity to give him a Blessing AND show how Blessings worked Before Heavens gained sentience. 4. I still have to show this. Without giving major spoilers, they can, depending on various factors. One of which is their own genius level, other is the deities strength, the Laws understood and used, and their Will. We have seen deities had Wills (see as willpower), and some creatures (including) humans had them too. Guess who excelled at this? ( i think i have hinted heavily at this already). I hope I have not spoiled anything major and replied everything. Consider adding me on discord. The channel is mostly empty but there are a few things in there. And I am ready and available for chats almost 24 x 7. All in all, I don't plan to let the story exceed 1000 chapters and hope to complete it in december 2025.

I will work on it. Actually I try as I rrfer to these losses even now in chapter 300 plus. But 2 things: 1. I cant have him pining and whining for long because I have seen readers complain then too (when studying other works). 2. My entire 6 years in slums background was to show he has known so much loss and has so little to lose, which is supposed to give him a stronger mindset. But I agree, I didn't dwell too much on certain deaths. Others are important even now. Thanks for giving it a try.
