The girls from original series just don't fit the criteria that I want for a love interest for Ryu. I haven't decided yet, but an OC just feels more correct for the direction that I want to go towards.

You guessed it right, there is another function within Delayed Impact, I wasn't gonna deliberately mention it until a later chapter. But it is there.
