Given that Sakura's ceiling was already set, what about his own? He wanted to see how far he could go. As an ordinary person, he wouldn't seek out special bloodlines or abilities. He just wanted to see how far he could go as a normal person—whether he could surpass the peak of ordinary ninja like Jiraiya or even the short-lived Might Guy when he opened the Eight Gates. Or would he not even be able to surpass Sakura?

honestly I am a bit disappointed to what Kishimoto did to her character, and overall many female characters in Naruto. There was so many space for character development. so I get y'all who dislike her character since it was so underdeveloped, no matter the tribulations she didn't really improve much up til boruto.
As Natsuro heard both unfamiliar and familiar names, his expression became complicated when he heard "Haruno Sakura." According to his plans, he would have to apologize to her at some point.

After all, in his previous life, he hadn't started a family and didn't have much to miss. It was just a pity that he hadn't fulfilled his filial duties. As for Naruto, Natsuro had indeed watched the anime, though he admitted that he hadn't paid full attention to the plot. There were many flashbacks that he found too tedious to watch, so he had skipped a lot of them. But watching it even casually still gave him an advantage nonetheless.

I watched all of Naruto from national television dutifully as a kid cuz I really liked it, but due to me being a kid I didn't really understood the deeper stuff abt the plot so now I have no idea what I actually watched 😭

if he say that then doesn't that mean their speculation of him using most of his chakra is useless? Edo Tensei individuals have infinite chakra
So, it is possible that Konoha was experimenting to remove that weakness of the jutsu and something went wrong, causing him to attack Konoha after being revived. Perhaps Akuro broke free from their control and is now roaming free. Or, they managed to get him under control and are using him now. Regardless, if he is an Edo Tensei summon, it could explain why he was unfazed even after getting hit by Yugito and how he can keep using jutsus with such high chakra requirements."
