Pardon the brief switch from first person to third. I'm in the process of making the book follow more standard webnovel writing conventions (transforming it from first to third person) and this was a test chapter.

Though some paragraphs could be broken up, the writing itself is digestible and not unnecessarily convoluted. The dialogue (which always the easiest to mess up) is fantastically crafted and clearly supports the defined personalities of each character. The author does a great job describing atmosphere. I FELT it during some of the situations Uriel got caught up in in the classroom.

While this type of novel isn't really my cup of tea, it's important to note that's not for lack of well-crafted dialogue, bad flow, or anything along those lines. The story is very nicely crafted with an easily digestible writing style and nice imagery. Very nicely done. :)

Definitely a novel that's above "above average" lmao. The descriptions are in depth and enhanced by a wide variety of vocabulary. So far (as of chapter 4) I can't detect any "choppy" dialogue or long-winded info dumps that would detract from the story. Very well done!

The writing quality is above average for the platform with many in-depth descriptions and an expansive vocabulary to supplement this. The characters are believable with their own personalities (however this is mostly shown through their actions and inner thoughts which is my next point). Much of the book details actions and exposition. There is a sufficient amount of dialogue, however it's not overloaded with it as many readers may be used to. It's a good read so far, though I can't say any advice regarding cliches and whatnot because I'm not a cultivator novel enthusiast. Still, I'd urge you to give it a try. :)

Just a warning, though. If you get contracted, this is something you could get into legal trouble for. Saying the name (as far as I know) won't land you in legal hot water, but any negative comment about the company/game could be considered "defamation" or "slander" or something. I'm not a lawyer, so my legal advice is about as sound as a toddler telling you the innerworkings of politics, but it's worth looking into.

I'm sorry friend. I really am. But the change is done and I think it's for the better. Sato isn't "emotionless" but he's more apathetic due to the background. I'm going to delete this review since it no longer applies to the story. But it's my hope that you'll give the book a retry. Thank you for reading and sorry for disappointing you.

Also, the book isn't doing well...at all lmao. Even when I was posting frequently, it received little to no exposure and growth would stagnate for weeks. As you might imagine, that's a very demoralizing thing, so I am rewriting him with the hopes that the book will be more appealing to more readers. I'm not in it for the money, but it's still a bad feeling when the story I work so hard to flesh out is littered with cobwebs. xD
