One thing making the plot not boring is the mind of the characters. If you think the ghost is scary, people are scarier than that!! The plot can twist anytime as there would be one person who conceals themself as a good person but deep down is full of selfishness. So, this is called the dimension of the characters.

Sol was so brave that he jumped into a shiver of sharks

In my point of view, this novel is quite easy to read. Maybe it's because of well translation and description, so the settings, characters, and the sharks look like they were really alive (I believe that the megs are not extinct tho!). And it seems like I was swimming with the sharks while reading this novel. Hope there'll be more of this kind of novel, I would pay a lot for them :D
