That’s just stupid? 5 lvl 2 cores while they’ll be getting a level 5 core? Plus whatever equipment drops. Why tf would he accept that

I get this is supposed to be a turning point in their relationship but that literally means nothing to the readers since he wasn’t really introduced or anything, how are we supposed to feel anything when we know nothing from this character plus it seems out of the blue, like 1 second he was absorbing the cores and the next he’s having this deep conversation about his friendship with a character we weren’t even properly introduced to? Like I feel this should’ve happened in future chapters after developing their relationship together.
