If you want to be spoiled on my plan for this then scroll down. :D . . . . . . . . . . . . . The plan is for the MC to do both making his future child the only one belonging to their dynasty. So if any people that don't support can't do anything or the dynasty goes extinct allowing Damon legitimacy.
Hahaha I feel you on that I’ll get to it today
Yea I'm going to change them once the guy that said the original names were annoying responds
I agree with you on this. Back in Ancient Greece the idea of king is completely different to them. Yet there kings which were essentially born generals should still be treated very formal. Since they were thought to be relatives of the legend Hercules. Mishap on my part 😅
I can’t give spoilers but my plans do align with your statement. The mc will develop over the course of the story. The greatest known men in history weren’t the kindest or most humble
I have came around to this. I agree! I’m thinking of Klaus too Nikolaus and George to Georgios. What do you think?
Its what Sparta was. If they were more diplomatic or were more innovative they could've stayed more relevant.
Klaus shares both Greek and Germanic origin. Same with the rest of the names. Could you give suggestions if they aren’t fitting to you instead? Since I’m the one that gave them the names and didn’t know the name Klaus was “annoying”.
Sparta eventually ceased to exist because of their reliance on having their people go to war. Sparta had 1/5 the citizens of Athens and so whenever they lost a battle they lost many young men. Eventually they lost all relevancy due to one lost battle against Thebes who before then never dreamt of becoming the dominant power of Greece for 20 years. I agree Sparta is Sparta because of their military but that military is full of men. No men = no military and due to their constant warfare that no men situation made them into a small village under the Roman Empire. (Due to the lack of men they even resorted to polygamy and eventually just accepted being a tourist attraction)
Thats unclear writing on my part. Thanks for telling me I'll rephrase it! :D
DW I agree with you I don’t think anyone can relate to a physically 7 year old conquering the world lol. People treat you with the way you physically look and no one will take a 7 year old serious unless they are the king themself or the master. Essentially MC is an underdog or maybe an over dog who knows 🤷♂️
Yea at the time he was one years old
Lol
Ahhh I understand. I agree with that statement wars were 100 percent going to happen! Sorry if I didn’t read your prior statement with a clear eye 😀
The crusades was a two way wrong. The Muslims started cracking down on Christians who went on pilgrimages and lived in their empire. While the crusade formed because a pope wanted to secure his legitimacy because there was another person trying to claim to be the pope. Also because Byzantium wanted to reconquer her lands. So Byzantium and the pope came together to go against the Muslims and reclaim all the Christian territory and Byzantium thinking they can regain land. A crazy man heard about this and so he charismatically raised an army of poor people who left everything behind on false premises. Once this rag tag army entered Muslim territory a year before the crusade was actually supposed to start they took down some towns. Then they all died once the Muslims fought them thinking that was the Crusade the Christians sent out. Then once the real Crusaders came the Muslims didn't take them serious and so the Crusaders marched all the way down to Jerusalem and captured it. During this process many Muslims died from pillaging and it was said the ground was covered in blood in Jerusalem. This happened half a dozen more times where Christians and Muslims kept on going at it leaving dozens of thousands to die tragic deaths. Overall the idea that either side did any good was wrong. I don't know the teaching of Islam but I do know that Jesus built a spiritual empire not a physical one. Also not to kill, this could all have been resolved if both sides came together but instead both wanted dominance. If we are being real here it wasn't Christianity vs Islam it was mainly I want to be #1 vs I want to be #1. At least this is how on the topic but king Baldwin was awesome I respect his feelings of not wanting to spill any blood as well.
