I have been staying in Odisha for the last 8 years. I would not use the word *oppressed*. However I do think that Odisha is often ignored by the Government as no national level political party can use Odisha as a vote farm. Be it the Left or the Right, no one has a solid ground to stand on in Odisha so they don't consider it worth the effort. They would rather appease bigger states instead.

A very well written story so far. I like how it is not an exact copy of Nihonkoku Shoukan and how different countries view America in a much different light than they viewed Japan in the original
